Hey sushi,

I bet you get asked this alot but I thought I would be one of those guys to just ask one more time.

I live in Brazil where customs tariffs are 60% on the labeled value of the product and the exchange rate is converted to the Brazillian real so you can imagine that the cost of the product goes way up. I would like to know how much in dollar value it will be labeled for because this will depend on how much it will cost me and if I am able to order.

You state in your shipping info that its labelred as US$ 1900 or at your own risk, what do you mean by that exactly?

Thanks,

Bliska

4 Pin atx has less cables right? I saw from you picture you did the following config:

1 yellow
1 yellow
2 black
2 black

with 4 atx I can only do

1 yellow
1 yellow
1 black
1 black

and with 6 pin to 4 molex
1 yellow
1 yellow
2 black
1 black

Isn't 6 pin better?

I guess I can just chop the power supply but it has 2 8 pins. Any idea how I should go about it? Heres the power supply I have. I have to power 3 blades

Hey dogie wondering if you could help me out.

I have a 6 pin PCI-e to 4 pin molex connecter. Looking at your guid and drawings I figured I need to plut in 2 yellow cables and 4 black cables. If I only have 3 black cables is that going to be a problem since its a 6 pin connector and not an 8?

Whats the best way to plug it in that way?

I am from Brazil and import taxes here a real big problem. What value do you set in the package for the miner? If the value is very low then I can definitly purchase one otherwise when it reaches here they charge you 60% on the value listed in the package!

Thanks!

Caros,

Obrigado!

Re: have I cooked my card?

Well there are a few things I can think of:

1. Overclocking is okay but overvolting is bad for the card in that it shortens the lifespan. However, if you overvolt and get stable settings that is fine but your cards life nad warranty will be reduced. I fyou get stable settings your should always stick with those and never get passed them. Make sure you find a limit where you don`t have to overvolt.

2. If ther were lights and flickering chances are your card burned a few components and you overvolted the card too hard. The components are made to take a certain amount of straina dn you may have gone passed that point.

3. Your PSU is way way way low for the card you have. You can have a 430w PSU and expect to overclock. That was definitly one of the things that factored into teh whole mess.

My suggestion: BUy a new graphics card and a new PSU. But dont mine with you GPU because its not worth it anymore

A good tip would be that USB Eruptors have dropped price and are selling for 1 BTC now. This is good as a substitute for GPUS.

On the other hand, there are several people that are making boards that will take BFL Chips that they are selling that is also a good option =)

Heres a USB Eruptor miner group:

They get 336 mh/s
