This is a nice project, you must've worked hard here.
What was used to create it? How would one learn how to create this? How much was coded/created from scratch?

Also how do you decide the best configuration when it comes to those environment variables?
All that GPU_etc. etc. settings. Where can I learn what exactly they do and decide what's best for my Radeon 280X?

Environment variables no work from config.txt?
Please do tell what I am doing wrong.
config.txt
Code:
-zpool us1-zcash.flypool.org:3333
-zwal t1Y3C4YB4JHA5188M4BaZrfpAhe4HcY5mKAJ
-zpsw 1337leet
#-tt 75
#-i 8
#-powlim 50
#-a 2
#-asm 0
#-allpools 1
-nofee 1
-tstop 95
-ttli 85
GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

Also, second question,
If you use launch options but also have config.txt configured, which one takes priority? Is there any condition by which the miner will switch it's config to the launch options <--> config.txt or vice-versa?

Haha! I would much rather I lose 2.5% of my income rather than involuntarily give you 2% of it   Kiss
I think there's a psych study done showing how people usually distribute money in a situation like that.

Can someone help with the API?

Single Block

Can someone give me an example of using that on a hash?
Why does this example not work?

Big List of bitcoin block hashes
by
blksith0
on 28/04/2017, 23:07:51 UTC
Every website only shows me the hashes one-by-one where you click links for Previous/Next Hash.

I don't need every hash, just a decently sized sample set. Does anyone know where I can find a list the block hashes?

example:
Code:
000000000000000000533392a66404f35b1bdabc2419b6d5ba3b06ed99cb92ff

Okay, so then assuming equal demand,
is it possible to determine which coins in the long-term will not suffer the problems with confirmation times & clogged network that BTC is facing rigt now>

Which stat determines Avg Confirmation Time

When BTC takes a long time to confirm transactions, and the network is clogged and etc etc,
https://blockchain.info/charts/avg-confirmation-time
https://blockchain.info/charts
As we know blockchain is currently facing size related scalability issues.

Then looking at this list of other coins and some of their technical stats:

How do you determine which are less likely to suffer some of those same problems?

Re: bitcoin fees have quadrupled, and this is just the beginning
by
blksith0

I agree with the OP. It is time to unite as one and let our voices be heard in support of Segwit and later an implementation of a network built on top of Bitcoin for offchain transactions. The OP may have a different view of how scalability can be acheived but the aim and sincerity is the same. We want Bitcoin to be better.

>We want Bitcoin to be better

Aren't there later-generation coins that fix problems in BTC like this one?

Or is this something that all altcoins would eventually face?

I feel like eventually we have to look in a mirror and look where the long-term trends are going with tx-fees and comfirmation times, uncomfirmed transactions, etc.
What coin will fix these issues?

Unintuitive UI
by

on 14/02/2017, 08:29:14 UTC
Does anyone else think that the UI isn't very straight-forward and behaves kind of limited? There's not even an option to minimize to the tray. Or what about getting a list of all your generated wallet address rather than sifting through log, upon which you actually have to open up the entry to copy the address.

1) Do you guys recommend any modern btc clients?
2) Is 0.4.1 the latest version?

Looking a donation progress bar service
by

I'm looking for a quite simple bitcoin-based donation service that would keep track of the $USD sent to a particular address/wallet and display that on a private url page.

Does anyone know if such a site exists?

New update is good, thank you.

Do you think we could get a feature that mimics this site ( https://hypron.net/bitcoinwisdom/ ) but using cryptowat.ch instead of bitcoin wisdom?
