Re: Is institutional capital good or bad for Bitcoin?

Institutional capital is the only way for the Crypto market to sustain its own inflated prices and absorb its irrational valuations.

excluding government, at this point there are no other sources of capital aside from institutional money capable of supporting such disproportional pricing behavior.

Crypto will eventually face two options: clean its act for institutional and professional money, or implode.

there's a known saying among professional asset managers: 'daily fluctuations are meaningless'. This is true for equity, or 'fiat' financial markets at present, as its clear that all we witness lately is reasonable daily fluctuations driven by normal professional and institutional activity, while not varying too far from the value of underlying assets.

now, for crypto markets things are entirely different: its an emerging, fragile, small and inefficient market filled with irrational, unsophisticated players acting on incomplete information. its two different markets, dominated by two different types of players, so comparing the two is practically insensible.

ETH is a rather efficient market, id stay away with little money. there are plenty other currencies out there to give you a far better ROI and where you'll be competing against far less sophisticated players.

good luck.

Re: Why are all cryptos dropping in price?
by

because similar to other emerging markets, the crypto market is small, unstable, irrational and filled with unsophisticated players with little or no information to guide their decision making - which magnifies the herd effect leading to immense fluctuations in price.

fundamentally, I'd say that the market is irrational, assets are inflated and fluctuate far beyond and with no correlation to their actual value to the extent where i would direct my efforts at developing a more global macro, systemic approach and towards understanding the consensus, meaning the percieved value of assets, rather than actual value proposition of companies.

Re: Easiest Country to Migrate to

i think that there's a correlation between wealth and ease of migration, Berlin for example is attractive for those with a low/mid budget (wealth) and some countries are better suited for wealthier migrants (singapore, NYC, monaco). the marginal benefit of wealthier migrates from places like Berlin is nothing compared to locations better suited for their life style. all and all, i'd say if youre tight no budget go to Berlin, if not, there are specific destinations for you.
