I'm quite against gpu mining.  It probably will come, but it means a random person without a gpu mining rig has next to no hope of mining successfully

I'm going to sound like a selfish prick, but I don't want gpu mining of this coin.  I'm lacking in gpus - modern games and my computers don't mix above 1080p.  However if that is what is happening I'll mine whatever I can until the mining rigs take over and reduce my cpus to nothing. Or am I being pessimistic and something magical is going to happen and I'll still be mining and competing when gpu code is introduced?
