Oh how i remember before this coin was added to zpool. the killer of its price due to flooding the market when everyone was hodling strong.
Atleast we can still save the coin by forking into a james may tribute coin and make sure it doesn't suffer the same fate

biggest problem this coin has is its still on zpool. if we get it removed from zpool it will bring the miners back and help may in the long run. Hopefully may is removed from zpool before next block reward hits and we can slowly get the price back to where it was before the dumping started.

are you sure this is still stuck? i think its fixed itself as im synced with ipool and sent a copy of my current connected nodes to coinmarkets to help their wallet sync
Which nodes you used. I did add some of Lpool posted peers. Now have 8 connections but stuck at syncing same block.

MAY is staking like a beast for me. Once I added a few more MAY the stakes have been rolling in daily as I wanted to build my staking weight ready for when the next higher block rewards start and I'll continue to add more MAY when I can. The price is still holding steady even with the rise of BTC hitting 8k USD.

So should I just sell out? Seems like this coin is dying a slow death. It was doing so well. I am the one (sucker) who bought everything up when it fell from 200 to 102 to take it back up to 200 again. Disappointing here.
its only dormant atm. ever since a certain pool added this the price has been dropping because they just dump it. not many people mining it either ever since it was added to zpool, because no matter where you mine be it with 20th or 500th zpool still gets runs of blocks and even mining there the payout system is utter bs. pennys on the dollar is what it feels like. Just look at the price history and when MB2nf4bHzya7U11pdFAVUNCwUoj7QQHkha (zpool) started mining this.
soon as its taken off zpool the miners will come back. but it seems happy just running on pos with the odd pow block from someone trying mine but is unaware of the bs predicament we are in.
End of the day all we can do is buy what zpool dumps on yobit and coinexchange and try to get the price back up to where is was before this.

And this is the reason most may blocks are pos these days instead of a nice balance of both. Soon as someone starts mining this again at any other pool and pop the block zpool will get 5-6 in a row straight after like clockwork. Now usually this would be great but for some reason its like mining for pennies on the dollar when mining may there and only there out of all the may pools that are currently still up and running.
On another note yes there is an online staking pool for may at http://ispace.co.uk/pos-wallet-mining
Also a normal pool for mining may as well as others.

Total BS on the earnings potential. I started getting 11 pts per video....I added 4 phones, and earnings dropped to only 4 pts per video...After about 3 hrs, I only had about 650 pts. The more phones you add the fewer points you earn. Makes sense; the vendors know people are scamming their system with farms...so they reduce the pts earned when you add additional devices. Based on those numbers, it will take you a month to earn $150.00. YOu could that by running just one phone at 11 pts.

MAY is still holding up in price, even at the current price I have been buying to build on my staking weight ready for when the next block rewards come around as I want to try and stake as many 400 coin blocks as I can. Good to see most of the volume in the last 24 hours is on Coinexchange as we need more volume on that exchange instead of Yobit all of the time. I try and buy from both to help increase volume on both exchanges.
Yobit is more popular for alot of people due to faster deposit times of 2 confirmations on most coins opposed to coinexchange's 20 for may. But its nice to see some nice buy orders on both atm.
Defiantly a great time to start staking this or adding to your piles while you can.
Hopefully this will be profitable to mine again soon. Damn zpool ruining everything.

i have an issue with flurbo-qt wallet it says:
"no block source available" it stuck on 24762 block..

Have you added these nodes to your .conf file? http://lpool.name/explorer/peers?id=1909
the sync stopped on that blockopen flurbo
click help tab then debug window
then click on peers tab.
there you will see which peers you are currently connected to.
from there just add nodes 1 at a time via console command or update your peers via flurbo.conf (when making the conf file just remember when you go to save it make sure you change save as to "all file types" then label it with the .conf extension. otherwise your left with a txt file called flurbo.conf.txt which wont work.
i was also stuck on a block but i just deleted the and re-downloaded the chain the first time and that worked for a bit.
but ive found that it will catch up on it own. its just not many blocks are being mined per day due to the difficulty atm.
once the difficulty eventually corrects i will start pointing more miners towards this but atm power is expensive where i am and although i wish to support the coin as much as possible its just not cost effective for Myself to point more miners towards the pools at this moment in time.

The price shall rise up again after the btc fork bs. everyone is just trying to get free money by cashing out their alts which means there are some great buys to be made
Money i would have usually put towards mining is now in buy orders as there is now a extremely lucky miner who always gets rows of blocks regardless of if im mining with 5th or 500th regardless of the pool that i use, btw iv'e tried them all just to see if that had anything to do with it but in the end

Besides that this coin is a great example of what a pow/pos coin should be. No stupidly over inflated interest rates, just fixed rewards for both miners and stakers alike.
As for the lower stakes per day, It is probably just due to more people jumping into may and now staking in their wallets instead of it sitting in sell orders on yobit or ce.

That was my fault. When the MF8... miner with 600TH owned the mining I asked zPool to please bring back the MAY. It's a multipool but the problem is that the exchange rate is bad. I was getting 10k coins per day a month ago to about 1.2k per day over there now. I think it is is 2 DGB for 1 MAY on the exchange. I think I even get credited only .75 of each May coin I actually mine there. I am not writing this to bash the pool but I just wanted to admit my mistake.
Ahh ok. Now the puzzle makes sense haha. All good. Atleast now i know why it was dominating block after block like ispace used to do.

yeah roughly 1500 more blocks until diff retarget. im tempted to throw a heap of hash into it but knowing my luck the diff will go up higher and backfire but i have no clue

Have you thought about protection against high diff ?
Many new coins have problems with stuck blockchains.
You could also switch to POW/POS to avoid this problem.

You have a very valid point,
There's two things though.
I Really hoped that this coin could try survive with just POW.
I haven't researched enough about POS to implement ( although probably could just take from another Opensource project.. ).
But there is a definite decline in mining due to the 3M+ difficulty.
Anybody able to help me try some POW changes please contact me XD, might be worth looking into.
p.s
I had made time this weekend to get android wallet working, ( it works ) just needs some external testing before release.
But with slow block times, the Android release may be delayed.
i was mining with a few th and everything was running smooth until the diff went up. now im lucky to get a block every 30min on either pool. hopefully the diff lowers soon so i can start mining again.

This is great timing to take risk on this project I hope this will go to the moon.
this is a great long term coin, decent rewards with each stake. the best thing is unlike other pos coins you dont need to combine your coins to get best return as the stakes are fixed at 200 coins atm.
its a great set and forget coin and has a nice following that is growing each day.
