The owner hasn't updated their page 1 yet but FYI, they have a version 2.40 out now.

=significant performance improvements for KAWPOW, especially on rigs with large number of GPUs
=improved compatibility with Ravencoin pools (miningpoolhub.com)
=added option to control DAG buffering mode (single or dual, --dag_mode)
=added option to support "Zombie Mode" for Ethash, Etchash and KAWPOW algortihms (--dag_limit)
=improved detection of freezing AMD GPUs under linux
=fixed display of core and memory clocks under linux
=display GPU PCI index on miner startup
=removed unpopular algorithms: sero, vprogpow, progpowz, cuckarood29, cuckarood29v

Phoenix miner too is now working with 4GB (similar to lolminer) I run it on linux with my old 4GB cards.

no it isn't on windows. Out of memory, 4.02 gbytes allocation...

In Windows lolMiner is working, and you have the bat file to use It... The speed each Epoch will get reduced in All miners but you are still able to mine ETH with 4Gb in Windows

no, it isn't

Done (3533 ms), size of new DAG: 4104 MByte
-------------------------------------------------------
GPU 0: insufficient memory for DAG epoch 385.

no matter what is set in --4g-alloc-size no effect.

My 44 570s-4gb are still working at 24mhs on linux.  If its not working on your end...keep working on it.  In fact just spun up an old 550-4gb card...its running at 11mhs.  Ill let them run until they cross the next best coin which right now means 12mhs is switch over point for me.

If I'm not mistaken, I think he meant that it no longer works on windows (even with lolMiner).  Linux OS is a little different and more efficient when it comes to memory usage.

By the way total log in time is literally useless metric so don't worry much about it.

Thanks for letting me know about the metric is useless, I wasn't sure and tried to find this information on the FAQ.  I'll ignore the login time then and just continue trying to help others when I can.

I don't see anything wrong here after checking your profile. you gone inactive at month of august. and then started activity again at december. so probably you lost your activities when you were inactive and offline from the forum.

one question. during the time between august and december (the time when you did not make any posts) were you logged in? did you visit the website everyday?

No, I didn't login during that time period.  Is there a minimum requirement for logins before the number changes?

Total time logged in stuck and hasn't moved in months

Hi Guys,

I tried searching for an answer but wasn't able to find it.  I noticed my account has my stuck at Total time logged in: 22 days, 13 hours and 41 minutes.
It hasn't changed for months so I was wondering if anyone can advise me on how can I get this fixed?  Or has the forum disabled it and is no longer using this?

Much thanks!

Tried to mine, but always getting
13:08:12:540   1288   Setting DAG epoch #385 for GPU0
13:08:12:540   1288   Create GPU buffer for GPU0
13:08:12:548   1288   CUDA error - cannot allocate big buffer for DAG. Check readme.txt for possible solutions.

4GB video ram, 8 gb ram, 32 gb virtual memory isnt enough?

4GB GPU cards can no longer mine Eth, the DAG file has grown larger than the card's ability.

Pool sent wrong data, cannot set epoch, disconnect
Are you using 4GB video cards?
What miner program are you using?

GMiner is being configured like this:
"miner.exe --algo ethash --server eu1.ethermine.org:14444 --user mywallet.myrig --proto stratum"
I have an issue with NOT showing me reported hashrate on ethermine.org dashboard. Nevertheless, I can see graphs of current and average hashrates. How to fix it? Need help

I also mine on ethermine.org, I use the following config, go ahead and try it and see if it works for you.

miner.exe --algo ethash --server us1.ethermine.org:4444 --user 0xyourwalletaddress.rigGMiner -l miner.log

"Ethash DevFee is just 0.65%"

Is there a way that the logfile would show this to be accurate?  Is there a way you can have the logfile to show when the DevFee starts and when it ends?

Thanks!

Is there a Discord channel/server for this?  I'd like to join that server to get some support on using GMiner for Eth.  Not understand why I'm getting rejected: Unknown server error right after I see Share #3 verified on CPU, difficulty: 4.77G

This is what I see:

Share #3 verified on CPU, difficulty: 4.77G
Share #3 rejected: Unknown server error

I'm on Windows 10 and running RTX 2070.  Was working fine with other miner program, Claymore and T-Rex.  Wanted to try GMiner Smiley
you can ask your question in our telegram group: https://t.me/gminer_beta
What's pool you have use?
Can you please provide sample command line arguments for testing this issue

I used your sample command for Eth (mine_eth.bat) and added --proto stratum to it thinking because the pool uses Stratum that I had to add it.  I got it fixed by not adding that command.
The pool I was trying was ethermine.org
and sorry I don't have Telegram, don't want to use it, my preference is Discord.
Thanks for taking the time to reply, I'm still evaluating your miner software.

Thanks, when I tried the --share-check, it automatically aborted.  Looks like that command doesn't exist.

I do wish the readme file contained all the commands.

On a separate note, is there a way to have the logfile overwrite once it reached a certain size?

I found out why.  I thought I had the parameter --proto stratum
in the command line, when I removed that it seems to be working now.

I now get
GPU0: Share #4 accepted 41 ms

In case anyone else wondered, hope this helped you.

What is the difference between -eres 0 and -eres 3 ?

I saw some people suggesting to use -eres 3 and I'm using this and seems to be working.
Thx!

Oh heads up, if you have the regular ASUS ROG STRIX GTX 1080TI, you are right, the Mem OC having it at 0 is the best, the other settings did no difference.  I can't get more than 45MHs

However, using the ASUS ROG STRIX GTX 1080TI OC, using the +450 mem OC, it brings it up to 49MHs.

I'm using claymore as well and I can't get back the old 54MHs like the old days no matter what setting I did.  So am I to understand that the new DAG did something to the Etherpill that the best we can get is 49MHs?

1080ti has 11 gig ram , mine run at 50 mhs with eth pill

What settings are you using if I may ask?

I have the ASUS ROG 1080TI OC (14 of them) and they all went from 54Mhs to low 40s after the DAG update.  I haven't been able to get it back near 50 ever since.

Has anyone been able to and is willing to share the settings that worked for you?

I wondered if it had to do with the new DAG and the Pill is no longer as efficient as it was because of the changes?  I'm not smart enough to know so that's why I'm posting and hoping someone could enlighten us.

Cheers all and happy mining!
