Of course there will be new platforms capable of competing with ETH in the future and right now, it will be the trio of ADA, BNB and SOL. In it, Sol is demonstrating the ability to expand the platform on their ecosystem with a lot of projects. Sol is an altcoin that has strong competition with ETH. it got x3 within 30 days.

ETH is at a very difficult stage to beat, leading a new cycle in September and creating huge momentum for the market. ETH will convert POS and token burn processes similar to BNB. At the same time, Sharding is still a healthy signal to motivate investors. I think these are the main factors that help ETH have the potential to surpass $15k next year. ETH is back in the 4k region and ATH will be soon.

The development of human society is always associated with the development of science and technology and is marked by major industrial revolutions. Bitcoin has been a wonderful thing in the development model of industry 4.0 where bitcoin is creating a strong and tight bond... i hope that bitcoin will last forever although there are still problems regulatory and legal.

I will choose ETH, BNB for long term because these are safe and best options.  In addition, I am balancing some capital to immerse myself in Sol, Dot.  Both are developing and building a very good ecosystem, it will expand defi and many other projects of interest.  That's what I care about

Ethereum can reach this position only if bitcoin gains consensus from support and impact at potentially higher levels. With over 100k ETH burned after the ETH 2.0 hardfork, the long-term potential to reach the target of 5k$ is very easy. But momentum is needed for bitcoin to go up to $60k and now the signal will be patience and the potential for bulls to take a big turn.

The government wants to understand, track, control bitcoin the way they control people's finances with fiat but they can't do that. They have tried all sorts of tricks in the past but always failed. When it comes to bitcoin and government adoption it's a small gap but a real challenge.

ADA has a big chance to topple Ethereum's market cap.  What ADA can implement in their mainnet in September is Smart Contract, defi integration, nft compatibility… Everything looks very promising to make a big change.  The nature of the altcoin market is always changing whether it is slow or fast to match.  ADA still has the ability to do that although the gap is still huge.

After the correction of bitcoin, although there is a slight weakening, Sol, Avax, ADA are the coins with growth beyond the barrier.  In which, Sol got a new ATH today and next I think ADA will cross $3 in early September.
If it is an incentive for this trend, I will choose Nft, Defi as the main coin.  PYR and QI will have a good trend

This is the reason why I only focus on investing in the top coins because the ability to encourage demand in large, reputable platforms is always more concerned than coins that are just pumped and dumped.  Until I really define the potential of a project, I'm not going to ride the roller coaster.

I find the current meme not as engaging and interesting as before, perhaps the excessive hype from Doge/Elon has caused the trend to go down and NFT instead.  Most of the NFT coins have been rising recently, some NFTgames are dominating the altcoin market with impressive growth such as VNLa, Sand, YGG, Alice, AXS

Without any effect to threaten continuation of the downtrend, some guys are digging up old stories to create fud and the market doesn't seem to have the strength to fight, but it's like a "fake dip". I am still optimistic that there will be a mysterious fall and a very strong increase.  This is the last doubtful possibility to end August.

Because we are still in an uptrend. Bitcoin can hit 100k or more. Therefore, it is better that people with difficult or normal finances can accumulate it as a net asset for long-term purposes. In fact, bitcoin is currently quite expensive for ordinary people in developing countries. 1 Bitcoin can buy a house in my country. Sometimes I wish I could turn back time trying to buy cheaper bitcoins but no one knows where the bitcoins are going.
Personally, I can only accumulate 0.02BTC per month when I receive my salary from my job.

I believe that, in the future blockchain world, transaction fees and speed are a very important requirement. Taproot in November may help reduce bitcoin's transaction gas fees somewhat. Meanwhile, ETH's Transaction Fees have been a curse across the topic as its price is higher than 3k$ along with transaction volume peaking, even a hardfork 2.0 will not reduce its gas cost. I still play some defi/NFT on polygons - it serves as a fulcrum for ETH when it comes to gas fees. I think polygon should be supported even though its liquidity is not perfect.

My selections are very similar to the category you have. However I add more BNB, YGG, PYR. YGG has just been listed on Huobi, even though it just started at the end of July, it has grown very fast. AXS has been pumped too much and I think it is better to choose YGG.
I believe the NFT trend will continue to explode with the exciting hype it generates

It is impossible to predict anything regarding the increase/decrease, the occurrence of volatility is always mandatory and at any time.  It's not like trading based on time zones/days or weeks.  If you choose ETH and LTC, I would suggest holding them instead of trying to trade.  They are the best coins, trading just makes you lose time and lose sleep because of that instead of thinking long term and trust

Lol, I don't think you can stress any further about nft more than you already have, I know some ntf defi project looks very promising but we must keep in mind that some or most are not worth the trouble, especially after seeing how incredibly axie infinity have performed many investors will be looking at similar opportunity, the only worthy and undervalued nft defi I am holding is Volcan Forge, long term I think this project will be profitable.
Yes, I also highly recommend Vuncal $Pyr,... New concepts in Metaverse and when they run Tower Defense for mobile app, it will fluctuate the price ratio of PYR, it creates even bigger conquest  for a Dex there for game exchange pairs.  I believe PYR will soon reach 20x

Bitcoin has been through all the dark days in 2018 and even this year things have passed convincingly like Fud china, Elon & Tesla...etc, heightened investment awareness is on the way which determines the direction of the market base.  I'm optimistic with the current situation, whatever bitcoin effort is creating the springboard for the entire space.  Printers continue to print money, covid19 continues to make bitcoin sustainable as its fruit
I think There aren't any bad cases that can cause the market to be dragged down again.
