PostCoin seems to have taken a similar approach to COMM, so far its looking good for adoption/distribution... just saying.
COMM will always be the Pure PoS Legacy coin with a massive community, but there can always be room for more.

POST has the same idea of comm but with less market cap only 50 000 will be distributed so if POST or VAL(Huge market cap) has the same community as community coin they are going to success that was the secret of comm .

you aware that the original code has some error preventing the one year PoS changeover from working?

from memory, if you do not want to stake you can use original source. the error it has does not prevent it from accepting stakes, but will not stake itself.
First you must sync to the latest block with 1.5, and then use the 1.5.1 wallet. it will be able to work

1. Just a updgrade from faircoin. Currently our wallet is 1.5.2 and will go to Faircoin 2.0. A transitional wallet 1.5.3 will be deployed before 2.0
