[ANN] WoofCoin / New Coin [WOFC] GPU Mining/PoW

WOOF COIN

Since the beginning of the pandemic, pet surrendering rates have increased dramatically around the world. Waitlists for surrendering household pets have increased to a remarkable eight months as animal shelters and welfare organisations have seen an increase of 34% for animals needing help.

Typically, animal shelters are under resourced and under financed; relying heavily on donations and the volunteer efforts to assist animals.

This is where Woof Coin steps in. As avid lovers of dogs, we wanted to make a difference. Using the power of Proof of Work mining, we’ve created a coin where miners are contributing to the donation of money to animal welfare shelters. These shelters initially include the ASPCA who already have a cryptocurrency donation mechanism but with intention to expand to the RSPCA and other organizations suggested by the community.

Our aim is to put animals first and we intend on developing ongoing relationships with pet shelters to help adoption.

Coins Specifications
21 billion supply
Block 2,100,000 halving (4 years estimated)
Algorithm: KawPOW
Proof of Work

Re: [ANN][ETHASH][PoW] Aura - Smart Contract Ledger & YouStock - Tokenized Selfhood

What we need is more people mining/holding Aura so difficulty goes up and supply dried up.  When you can mine 380 Aura per day with just 380mh due to such low difficulty it kills the value of the coin.

A very smart project, interesting to follow the development of this aura project and seems to be interested in many investors, the allocation is given also hopefully so many participants will participate in this project, I also hope this project can run smoothly and later can be a great success as expected.

Thanks, glad to have you in the community Smiley

I have read an FAQ section but really do not understand what makes you better than other platform like Ethereum and what is unique offer?

You read it all and missed youstock.io?   This chain will power youstock.... Why would they run youstock on ethereums congested network?

I didnt think of that , but damm us little guys don't stand a chance with hash like that

nicehash has been ruining mining for the little guy for years.   they run difficulty up with huge hashrate then drop off, making block time go through the roof until it adjusts back to normal... then they add the nicehash power again.   its a way to cheat the difficulty/block time algorithm.

Just checking out the mining hash rate on MINERPOOL.NET the number one miner has 52.68 GH of hash power , if this is suppose to me a asic resistant algo, how the heck dose a mining farm have over 2000+ cards running...seems a bit strange...all on one worker

probably nicehash..

Did we ever get a definite limit supply?

Yes and No. The same situation - Ethereum
Difficult increase

that makes zero sense.  increasing difficulty as network hash rate increases is not going to reduce the output.   so long as block time is 13 seconds and the reward is 12 the same number of coins will be minted.   they would need to either reduce reward or increase block time...

It makes sense. Difficulty grows on a logarithmic scale
first year - price pril ~8 $
Next year - to the moon

It doesnt make sense.

Difficulty increase as network hashrate increases, coz higher hashrate means faster block time, then DIFFICULTY kicks in to reduce block times and keep them under set range (13 seconds). But as network hashrate grows, that mean more miners join the club and you get less coins as coins are spread out to more people. But each day, same amount of coins enter the market. Doesnt matter is it 1 miner and 0.1 difficulty or 10000000000 miners and 1000T difficulty.

Yes thank you!  How can people spend all this money to invest and/or build a miner and NOT understand something as simple as difficulty?!?  If your average block time is 13 seconds, that means 4.6 blocks per minute are solved:

60 min * 4.61 (blocks per min) = 276 blocks per hour
24  hrs * 276  (blocks per hr)   = 6624 blocks per day

6624 blocks per day * 12 coins per block = 79,000 coins minted per day.....  79,000 * 365 days = 28,835,000 coins per year.

Difficulty is adjusted up as more people join the network and hashrate goes up.  it needs to do so in order to keep the 13 seconds block time, because more network hashrate means the blocks get solved quicker.... the difficulty adjustment just keeps it as close to 13sec average as possible.   it does not change the number of coins minted.

To reiterate - you would need to change the block time or the reward if you're going to reduce the number of coins minted.   And it doesnt seem that they're willing to do so.

We have open new Dbix pool along with our other pool . we have 0 down time on our pools also we have 0.2% pool fee if you would like to mine our pool please come visit us  http://dbix.drowningpool.net we would love to have you help support our pool thanks

New PROP pool guys - prop is preferred for small miners, as huge nicehash power gets the majority of the shares in the large PPNLS  pools (pay per last number of shares) and eats our profit alive while they're there.

we're almost at 1gh after just a few hours online - hop in now and get a big percentage of our first block

do you still get paid when someone comes out with an adblocker for the user?   seems like that's the logical second step to a service like this..

Does anyone know what hashrate is needed to better mine solo instead with a pool?

depends on how long you want to wait to get paid.   there's really no benefit to solo mining irregardless of your hash rate..   either you solo mine and wait forever to win a block, or you mine on a pool and get smaller payments more often.

wouldn't it be funny if the testnet were doing the premine pow.  i'm fairly new but i've never seen a launch anything like this...   there are other "bitcoin forks" like btcz that launched flawlessly, no premine and wallets for multiple platforms.    And they had NONE of the hype this one had.    I hope i'm wrong about this one

difficulty up 250%    was just 72K yesterday. Sad

yep Sad hard to find new block... We need more hash.
The difficulty of Bitcoin Z has decreased again today. We should take advantage and try to mine it as much as possible. It gonna be pumped in the future. I am also waiting for more good news from developers such as roadmap, whitepaper, new products, new features, etc. Please look at what ZEN cash has got recent days.

agree.  I watch difficulty closely.   back mining it now that it's at a reasonable level.   it probably was a nicehash rental that caused the spike earlier.   I hope it doesn't become a common thing like other alt coins (dbix for example).  It ruins the mining for everyone.   they run diff up - collecting the majority of the blocks, drop off (and when they do, block time goes to shit while the difficulty algo adjusts to the network HR), then pop back on when difficulty adjusts back to normal... and repeat.   Then they dump the coins on the market driving prices down.  Nicehash is a bad for miners and for the coins they target..

1 MONTHS DBIX MINING  Angry  $120  why ?
I have 5x gtx 1080
why the price is down
I will go to the mining Zcash

1080's aren't very good ethash mining cards.  you'd do better to mine zcash and sell to buy dbix.  dbix has been more profitable than eth for my old R9 AMD rig (204 dbix since July).

anyone has a mining pool that has made payouts already? i tried supernova for 40 mins or so and after reaching 2k unconfirmed switched to miningspeed hopefully i get some payments here

I've received about 10,000 from btz.pool.sexy

It takes some time for the blocks to mature and for payout to occur.  sexy pool has a 1000 min payout

Where do you submit a new coin request at bittrex?   Why not add Livecoin.net and Cryptopia to the list of exchanges in your shoutout to the community?   They seem to accept newer coins much easier than the larger exchanges (bittrex).

Re: [ANN] Expanse (EXP) - 1st Stable fork of Ethereum
by

Good evening, i have a noobish question to miners regarding AMD RX series. We know that RX will lose it´s hashrate on Eth with each epoch, making it ~30% less profitable at 150 epoch. Expanse/musicoin etc are also based on Ethash algo, hence the question - will AMD RX series lose itś hashrate here as well?  Thanks!

As the dag grows hashrate will slow.  this is a function of the vram speed on your gpus (512bit bus width gpus don't see that drastic a change as 192bit or 384 bit bus).  obviously it will take quite some time for those lower dag coins to get to the dag size of eth.   Still, you might see a 2-3 mh/s decrease from a epoch #2 coin, to a epoch #42 coin.
