$BTC goes up > $alts go down.
$BTC goes down > $alts go down.
$BTC goes sideways > $alts go up.

Can't get away with it btc affects everything so be mindful about basic rule and ability to read trading chart helps a lot. Speculations release by news also affects the price so better watch the news.

Re: What is a bitcoin ... I dont see it

Bitcoin is a worldwide cryptocurrency and digital payment system, called the first decentralized digital currency, as the system works without a central repository or single administrator. According to great wiki. Decentralized has also downside w/c leads to some splits. But decentralization is also good with the premise of no single entity, government or institution that would dictate bitcoin. It should be the community. But with the rise of large miners seems the process are going centralized again because the primary goals should be the process are distributed to different nodes and to avoid a single node to have a majority of the transactions.

HODL while you can...there's a lot of FUD lately and some negative news about bitcoin that trigger the dip. Some are just temporary but takes a lot of time before going normal depending on the dip. Though still volatile bitcoin already established itself. For me dip means opportunity to buy more in my portfolio. Bitcoin and alts investment is a risk after all if you don't risk you wont profit.

Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins?
by

on 11/10/2017, 05:55:34 UTC
Yes it is. Lots of people loose their money in entering in the field that they dont know or did not research before entering. Risking in investment is not giving out your money you might want to know what your risking for. Now bitcoin is nearing to another all time high so if you throw your money now and it suddenly dip then it will take a while to be up again. It's a very volatile market so you need to learn about it if you don't want to loose your money.

Re: Who can destroy Bitcoin ?

Well if the government around the world unite and BAN all exchanges and mining theres a possibility then some financial institution threatened by the very existence of bitcoin will ride the wave might affect the existence of bitcoin but the idea of being decentralize exist so that no government nor financial institution nor individual can dictate it's existence. Decentralization also provide security against server attack since there's a lot of node vs centralized servers. It takes unified effort to destroy it.

Bitcoin is a great investment if you do some research before entering. You might also want to learn some basic trading chart reading. Bitcoin is nearing All time high again might be a bad idea, but there is a small dip around 4600-4700 you might want to grab some. But for litecoin seems its the bottom now. All in all since you are risking your hard earned money you might want to do some more research before entering.

Product with no real use case scenario would fail eventually but through the years bitcoin already have market and adaption so as long as institution adapt it as form or payment and users trust and government regulate or adopt it, it will continue. FIAT started the same it started with the trust in every country to accept the currency of other countries. In my opinion since it is widely adopted now it will stay but when users/people lost it trust for bitcoin then that will be the end of it. You can ride the hype in trading and always have fall back options.

Roll Eyes

Depende kung ano ang gusto mo i trade bitcoin lang ba or altcoins. If bitcoin lang pwede kana sa abra wallet and coins.ph mag trading.

kahit sa basic na buy low sell high kailangan mo pa rin nang basic understanding sa trading chart otherwise di mo alam saan ang entry and exit mo or saan ung bottom at saan ung peak.

Depends on what you want to mine. Bitcoin will be too late as it was dominated by ASIC mining farms at altcoin still a little bit profitable specially if you are in the region with cheap electricity.

Ive been wrong that i withdraw all my earnings on trading ..
i learned that ..must have patience in holding then exchanging it times 10 from the day I bought my alts..
hmm .. too bad for me now bitcoins is still aiming high ..

Been there...many times when i've sold my portfolio the price rises. even if you are for long term HODL you still have to learn basic chart reading to know proper entry and exit. The more you should learn about it if you intend to daily trade.

Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes
by

Blockchain has specific address allocation and wallet address are transparent so it's still traceable. The area of concern bitcoin want to address is centralization of transactions that's the reason they decentralize but as time goes and by rising of many miners with powerful servers and lack of governance it is going back to centralization. Another is security it's not hack proof but it will take a lot of computing power to hack a specific wallet address provided that the user is not so careless. With regards to being used in crimes well FIAT is still the major currency used in crimes up to now. I think cryptocurrency has a big part in the future of managing almost every transactions.

Re: Better investement right now, bitcoins or Altcoins.
by

on 10/10/2017, 06:47:56 UTC
It depends on what you want to do. Long term investment or day trading .In my opinion you can invest in both bitcoin and alts but be aware about the basic principle 1) when bitcoin goes up altcoins goes down 2) when bitcoin goes down altcoin goes up 3) when bitcoin is steady altcoins goes up. Volatility is also a factor but with high volatility if you know basic chart reading there is a possibility of high profit but high risk also. Overall since bitcoin has already establish itself it's the safest and you know that it's have more room to grow.

Re: IT IS TOO LATE?
by

on 10/10/2017, 06:34:44 UTC
There's no such things as too late in crypto...it's just a matter of entry timing when everything was up theres no other way but down. Knowledge in charts or trading view would help a lot in timing your entry to bitcoin or altcoins. Crypto currency has a lot of room to expand and adaption is still newly established.

Learned the hard way but basic concept is >when bitcoin goes up altcoins goes down >when bitcoin goes down altcoins goes up > when bitcoin goes sideways alt-coins goes up. Many time i forget this basic rules but trading view helps a lot. When you are capable of reading charts it's easy when to enter and exit. Smiley

Re: How to partecipate an airdrop?
by

on 10/10/2017, 02:01:15 UTC
Im a newbie
I see lot of airdrop here, and I want to partecipate, but I don't understand how to do it.

I have to send my eth adresse, but how can I have the "airdropped Crypto"?

Thanks

Not all air drop are legit but when there it is free and less risk and no data will be compromise then by all means participate. Usually they list the requirements such as email and some provides google docs to signup. Others just ask your name and ETH address.
