Hi correct power supply.
When I do usb-devices with it plugged in get below. So Pi is fine, Pi usb is fine, correct power supply tried a few usb cables which work (so not these). Power to unit is on, power to fan is on, just nothing from chips.

Yep usb on Pi works recognises newpac no problem. The mini usb port on 909 seems fine, everything connected and tight stumped Smiley

thanks for suggestions.

Sorry new here, posted in wrong place.

The blue leds are around the fan, the fan and the lights are both working though.

So its not the Pi or the Pi usb port, just plugged in a newpac and set it going, hashing no problem. So has to be something on the 909

thanks all

Well the white blinky light is mining, the red light is power, but no idea what the blue light is.

I heard someone was putting blue led lighted fans on the ones they were selling - so if the fan has stopped working, then that would be it.

We'll have to await sidehack's comments if it's not an extra blue fan led/fan problem.

Tried turning on and off, no use  Sad . Been running it on Pi3b will get a laptop and download everything and see if the problem is the same there. In the meantime, where would I find the log files to see if anything happened.

Thank you

Hi Everyone,
Wonder if anyone has any ideas. Got mine a few weeks ago was hashing no problem. Came home today zero hashing. Fan is on, with blue light. Red light on front is on but zero hashing, no blinking white light and no activity on solopool??

I've been having trouble with the miner's reliability...
So far, I haven't been able to keep it going for more than 4 hours.
In this forum the two explanations I've been able to gather are that either the power supply is too low, or the memory voltage is too low. I'm fairly sure the power is enough, because the miner starts (correct me if that is a wrong conclusion), and even though I've tinkered with the memory voltage it doesn't seem to make a difference. Not only does it not last, but it doesn't last in an unpredictable way - it can last anywhere from 30mins to 4hrs.
Any help would be much appreciated!
Hi I have am having exactly the same issues with my 4 moonlanders, externally powered is polar hub 2.5 amps per port. Tried all versions of changing core and memory voltages, but runs for short time 20 mins- 2 hours and then hash rates crash and the HW errors jump, did you ever find an answer for this.
Thanks

Solution I found was to write a script to restart every hour. Had something to do with a memory buffer, but that was on raspberry's. Not sure how it could equally affect a larger computer.

Just an update still having the same issues. My hub is Sipolar 10 Port USB Professional Mining Hub 10.5W per Port 21A @ 5V 120W, so not a power issue. As suggested above I got a restart scrypt for running on windows, your welcome to give it a go and see if it works. Just copy and put in your own mining site, your wallet address and your password. Then copy, open notepad and paste in, then save as .bat file and place in your mining software folder. Double click to start. Two windows will open one with the miner stats, one a command prompt window which will have your countdown to restart. You can set how long you want the moonlanders to run before restart (time in seconds) in the set runforseconds= and you can set how long the moonlanders should take to start hashing again in seconds in, set restartinseconds=1 . So in the example below mine run for twelve and a half minutes, then restart after 1 second and repeat ad infinitum. Not ideal as would be better to be able to fix the problem but will get you going. Good luck.

set executable=bfgminer.exe
set commandline=--scrypt -o stratum+tcp://stratum.coinminerz.com:3363 -u your address -p your password -S\\.\COM3 -S\\.\COM5 -S\\.\COM6 -S\\.\COM7 -S MLD:all --set MLD:clock=756
set runforseconds=750
set restartinseconds=1
set /a counter=0
:start
start "restart test" %executable% %commandline%
echo:
timeout %runforseconds%
taskkill /f /im %executable%
echo:
timeout %restartinseconds%
set /a counter+=1
echo:
echo:
goto start

HI I hope you are well.
I was hoping for some help/ info. I am new at this.
I purchased 2 moonlanders 2 Iand  have managed to get my two Moonlanders going using your instructions (they are running on a Pi 3 externally powered hub) and i can monitor them.
So far I have tried to mine nyancoin from multiple pools and also XVG.
When I first execute the BFGMiner  i get them mining with  thered led flashing, however, within a minute or two the difficulty on the block goes up and my moonlanders seem to stop mining, green led ok, no red led I have tried the lower difficulty ports on the sites and I have tried changing the difficulty in the start shell script too.

Do you have any ideas?? Are they still mining or have they been frozen out. Is there a work around.

any info would be great

these are cool little machines

thanks
