Re: a hope bounty ??

We need to be keen next time in selecting what ICO to participate. It is sad to say that scam ICO is rampant these days.  But giving up will not be a solution to that.  So let us not give up on bounties.

Re: Exhausting Scammers!
by

I have been here at the forum for a while now.
I Was Active On Bounties.
However this is what happens.
Some or almost half of the Bounty Programs I joined, turns out to be a scam.
Some Members Even duplicate my credentials/reports and the worst part is,
Some attempted to KYC my bounty payment.

This experience is exhausting and frustrating.

You guys?
What do you think we can do to prevent or stop such scam projects or people that imitates us?
And what are your experience with them? and what did you do?

t is frustrating indeed to encounter a scam ICOs.  Basically we have complied all the rules to achieve such reward and ends up nothing. But I don't think we will stop doing bounties because of this.  For now,  the best thing to do is to be select the project well,  the project team and the bounty manager.

Re: Mid-year, buy or sell ?
by
boblets243
on 10/07/2018, 12:33:34 UTC

The cryptocurrency market has fallen by half a year since the highest point at the end of last year. Bitcoin has been supported for $6,600 twice, and this time the lowest point is $5,800, which is basically in the same position, and the market has gone down three times and many people have already sold their coins. The departure has already left. Not many people are willing to continue selling.

At the same time, we can see that almost all icos will lose money once they are listed, and individuals who participate in ico are few. But so far this year's ico amount has exceeded the sum of last year, what does this mean? Explain that it is not an individual, but an institution, because they only have so much money.

Therefore, at this moment, I believe that the market is recovering, the driving force for the decline is weaker than the driving force for the rise, and the market will have rising demand in the future. As long as it does not fall below $5,800, this conclusion will be established. So I choose to invest and buy a project that I think is good, using one-third of the funds. If it cannot be established, the stop loss will be sold and the opportunity will be found again.

Talk about your point of view, I hope to communicate with you.

I think it is the best time to buy and long term investment is the key to maximize profit.  Grab the opportunity while the market is red.  Bull market is coming soon.  So have patience in holding your coins.

Re: regulation and legalization of cryptocurrency
by

There 7 cryptocurrency that are legal in thailand , its Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Ripple, Litecoin, and Stellar. They also regulate the ICO. Now ICO can't be traded with fiat anymore and there is a fee for license.

http://www.livebitcoinnews.com/thai-sec-confirms-ico-tokens-will-not-be-traded-against-fiat-currencies/

What do you think about this regulations? I think its fair enough and i do think in few months 7 of this coin value could be increasing if more country has the similar regulations such as thailand.

I am glad to hear that Thailand has accepted crypto and this is another step for Crypto acceptance. Also, regulating ICOs is helpful to minimize fraud incidents. This would help increase the credibility of crypto to the community. I just hope that my country and other countries will adopt this kind of acceptance to crypto.

Re: SLeepless nights doing bounty campaign is it worth it?
by
boblets243
on 10/07/2018, 02:55:55 UTC
I know that there are other members here working day and night doing bounty campaigns. But i think that doing bounty campaigns is not worth it especially if you had a lot of work during the day. Some are just boasting on their bounty campaign earning wherein fact maybe because they are lucky to receive those awards but somehow do not wish that you could be like them because some of the ICO project that you will going to work will not give bounty rewards and some of it will fail, or just pause. So no reason for sleeping late at night.
Some participants really do have sleepless nights to perform the bounty tasks because most of them have a day job. I think it will still be worth it if rewards will be given at the end of the campaign. That is why it is important to select the right campaign. Because if incase it is a scam ICO, then surely, participants will be dismayed of the outcome.

Re: Cryptocurrency or Stock Market?
by
boblets243
on 09/07/2018, 09:43:31 UTC
As we all know, stock market had been there for a very long time now and on the other hand, cryptocurrency is a fast rising trend when it comes to the world of trade and commerce. Some may prefer to invest in crypto because of high returns but some will still go with stock market and play it safe.
In your opinion, what will be the best option to invest your money on?

In my own opinion, both are good investments. As you mentioned, Stock market has been there for a long time.  And crypto is a new trend with higher rate of return but with a higher risk. Diversifying both investment is a much safer move rather than concentrating your investment on one.

Re: Bounty Campaign are wastage of time?
by
boblets243
on 08/07/2018, 08:41:47 UTC
A large number of fraudulent projects have been watching lately and it's hard to do something about it!! Waste of time talking? I do not agree with you!!! First, you gain experience in understanding the cryptocurrency market and the entire blockchain system. Second, you do a good job helping a good project, and third, you get the opportunity to earn some capital in the future in the coins of those projects that you have supported on the way of their development)

I agreed with you mate.  We learned a lot in joining bounty campaigns thus it is not a waste of time.  Yes,  there are a lot of scam ICos these days which makes your efforts put into waste.  Thus,  the best thing to do for now is to double check the review woth the project and the team of the ICO.  But probably sooner there has to be done to minimize these incidents.

Re: Most Crypto investors are Cowards
by
boblets243
on 07/07/2018, 09:56:55 UTC
The answer is just simple, we all are cowards  Smiley. Everyone will like to wake up one day and find out that Btc has reached 50,000. All these people are scared to invest hugely in bitcoin but want to become  Crypto millionaire and Billionaire. You ask them why they are scared and they are like crypto is volatile and so on. This is the time to set the record straight make people realize what they are into. If you are scared then there is no need for you to join this amazing fraternity Smiley.

Some investors might have less knowledge about Bitcoin which ends up with pulling of their investments. Moreover,  these people should invest in a less risky investments because they are to emotional.  That is why it is important that investors must assess their selves first before investing into something. A big potential rate of return comes with a greater risk. There is always a bargain in everything.

Re: Can something free be a scam?
by
boblets243
on 07/07/2018, 07:33:04 UTC
Hi everybody,
Lately I am reading a lot of posts asking: is this airdrop a scam? Is that free ICO a scam?
So I am wondering how can something that doesn't cost you a penny be a scam. Sure, they get your email adress and maybe a ETH Adress, but how can you  really be scamed with only this informations? I am not talking about airdrops that require kyc registration, that for sure can be dangerous.
Cheers,

Of course it can be. Scam is a fraudulent act. If people were going to take your means with fraud, but they did not succeed, it does not remove any charges from them. In addition, in forms of airdrops very often asked to specify a private key from the wallet or go to the fishing link ..

Any rewards committed which was did not turn into reality is still a scam. We don’t need to make an investment to consider it as a scam. And this scenario is very rampant these days. I think there are things to be done to minimize this. Because this might pull down the credibility of the crypto world.

Re: I need more money to invest now!
by

on 06/07/2018, 13:34:17 UTC
As what i have seen on the coinmarketcap.com for the market price for bitcoin that literally goes down to 6K usd is a good time to start the investment. I am waiting for this moment but still i need more money to invest on it. Well i hope i could get more money the following day so that i could invest in this time where bitcoin market price falls down.

I would advice you to think twice before you invest everything.  It seems that you want more even if you have already invested. I know that this the the best time to buy.  But try to invest what you can afford to lose because we all know that Bitcoin is a risky investment. I am not discouraging you.  I just wanted you to think twice because panic buying might end up panic selling.

Re: Do you believe in ICO Ratings?
by
boblets243
on 06/07/2018, 08:01:08 UTC
I see many Websites that provide ratings for ongoing ICOs or for the future. Examples such as the ICObench.com Website, ICOrating.com and others.

Which is my question whether you believe in the rating provided by the website. Seeing many ICO's do not match what they value. Many ICOs are arguably good ratings but when the token sales of the project only reach softcap. And there are projects that I see have a fairly mediocre rating but their token sales reach hardcap. I took the example of Lalaworld on ICObench.com they get Rating 3.7 but their token is sold out.

So let's discuss ICO Rating!
Usually I don’t rely on these websites because there are a lot of instances that the ratings are good but in actual it turns out bad. I believe these websites has something to improve on to increase their credibility. So the only way to make a research on your own instead of relying on these ratings.

Re: People move out from cryptocurrency!

I have heard from many people that there are many people to leave the cryptocurrency.

Is that right?
If  yes then what are the reason behind on it?
If no then why people spreading that kind of news regarding cryptocurrency?

Maybe some of the people who invested but has a little knowledge about cryptocurrency. People who have less knowledge may execute panic selling just to save a portion of the invested money.

I want involve this sector fulltime. But is their any ensurity of better future?
Yes, it may be a good tool to secure my future. That is why I make sure that I spend 2-3hrs per day for crypto readings and for my crypto jobs. So basically, diversifying investment is the key to have a secured profit. and one good form of investment is crypto.

Many participants of Cryptocurrency market who could read chart predict that the price of bitcoin will reach 100,000 dollar before the end of the year. What is your opinion? Are u positive or negative to this opinion?
Maybe yes,  maybe not. I think there is nothing wrong with prediction.  But for now,  there is still a slim chance of reaching that price.  Where in fact,  we haven't achieved the $20k price for this year.  And Bitcoin price for the past 6 months plays between $5.5k to $9k. So let us just hope for a green market at the end of the year.

Re: Bitcoin to HODL or not ?
by

on 02/07/2018, 08:47:42 UTC
I had bought some bitcoins in late December when price was around $10K. I had put all of it to trade on some altcoins to get good returns. Now, I'm all in on Bitcoin Gold, I bought it at $110 which is down to around $26. Shall I wait for another bubble to build up or sell what I'm remaining with ?
If I were in your shoes I would hold until the price goes up. Or i would sell with lesser loss.  If you sell at this very moment you lose almost half the price.  But every decision depends on you. This depend on how your are as an investor.

Knowing that you could get free coins from Airdrops, would you exchange it once you got the coins or hold it until the vslue rises up?

I would prefer holding it. in the very first place, those tokens are given for free. So you have nothing to lose if you’ll keep holding it until its price will increase.

Re: Why are you interested in cryptocurrency?

Personally, I started to be interested in crypto currency because of its idea and technology, but now I'm more trying to make money with the help of it.
So, why are you interested in cryptocurrency?
I think it's the good topic for discussion!
I became interested in Cryptocurrency because I wanted to have an extra income.  I wanted to earn while I am at home.  I was motivated by the people around me who are into crypto which started to earn. By then,  I started researching which then I realized the beauty of the technology.

Re: Beside Cryptocurrenices where would you invest?

If I had enough money, would buy an apartment, and do airbnb renting in it. Know some people doing it, and brings nice money with not too much work.

This is a good alternative investment mate aside from crypto.  Investing in real estate is a sure profit although it needs a big investment amount. The best investment that we should start should fit on our capabilities and personality.  If we don't have enough funds,  we can start a small business like buy and sell.

Re: My BIGGEST cryptocurrency mistake
by
boblets243
on 29/06/2018, 16:53:07 UTC
December 2017 during the high of highs, I made a huge mistake, I allowed greed and fomo, ignored my gut and bought into NXT because I was chasing Ignis airdrop. The coin has since tanked and I still have not received the airdrop. Nxt is probably 80/90 down.

What is your biggest cryptocurrency mistake???

My biggest crypto mistake is not studying thoroughly crypto last year.  I have known crypto by early quarter last year but I did not take seriously because of an important event in my life. Probably if I have grabbed the opportunity earlier,  I may have a good profit since last year.

Re: Knowledge is the foundation
by
boblets243
on 29/06/2018, 07:08:04 UTC
It is needful to say that before the completion of a magnificent building, it starts from the foundation, therefore, to excel as a crypto enthusiast you must start from the foundation, which is through the acquisition of knowledge.
I will not deny the fact that learning is a continuous process, but whoever is coming newly into crypto, should try as much as possible to learn first the rudiments before venturing into any aspect of crypo in order to avoid making costly mistakes.
What you already know cannot be taken away from you...
So, start from the foundation today and get the best from the crypto space.

Knowledge is indeed one thing that can be stolen to an individual. Thus, it is important to have equipped ourselves with knowledge because that will help us to earn for a living. Specifically, for crypto, we need to understand well the concept before doing investing.
