Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v14.7 (Windows/Linux)

can somebody help out with the driver feature ?

I ran "-driver uninstall" with admin rights.

Then if I run it with Admin Rights ( also tried with admin rights + -driver install in command line ) it doesn't seem to work.
I run it without admin rights and the driver switch command line and it says "driver is in use error".

claymore v14.7 with GTX 1080 Ti @ Win10 v1903 and GF drivers 418.21 or something like that.

I have the same problem on windows with rx580 8gb.
when i run with -rxboost 1 - strap 1, it tells me to run it with -driver uninstall.
I run it with that as admin, reboot and then remove it. Run it again as admin, and then normally.
It says driver is in use...
I also tried including -driver install_test but i see no improvement.
Anybody knows what to do to get it work?

Thanks

From current prices what crypto do you think will 10x first, Ethereum or Bitcoin?

Both ETH and BTC will not make 10X so forget 10X and get into seeing bitcoin being used as a means of payments worldwide, this should be our main objective

Kinda goes one with other. Cant transact huge amounts of money and transactions with something that has small value per unit, if it is meant to be a global payment system one bitcoin must be huge, broken into satoshis ofcourse. Or it will be underground, in which case it can be at 3k or under.

Your account was registered in 2014, but I can only view posts from April 2017 on.  Where are all the other posts you made?  Did you delete them because your account was purchased or hacked?

Either way, with gems such as
Usually somebody buys, so you profit. If that asset plunges afterwards, that someone has lost. Trading is and always has been a competition.
Your gain often means somebody has lost something
....which showcase your brilliant, analytical mind I'm sure you're a strong contender for one of the open slots in Chipmixer.  Let me know about why I can't see your earliest posts, OK?

I can see my posts starting in 2014., when i wasnt active much, and wrote only a few posts until 2017. Why you cant see those few posts is a question for somebody who understands the mechanics of forum. Regarding my post on a topic: IS GAINING PROFIT A COMPETITION? , i dont see what is funny by ridiculing me for trying to simplify how trading works to somebody who obviously doesnt understand the basics. Anyways i dont want to argue, nor i will apply sarcasm as you are doing to me.

I came to apply and if i am not selected i am fine with that.
Have a nice day

Well holy crap, with this rate we will be sub 3k tomorrow lol.

But regarding to a previous post, this whole situation is just a part of the full market cycle.  Just need to be patient to see some greens again.

It is better to have quick drop and be over with that imho, than have a slow bleadout
Slow bleadouts are the worst

Re: Altcoins mining still profitable?
by

on 23/11/2018, 19:29:26 UTC
I have read many articles and blogs about altcoins mining and one thing that I have see as a problem in minining is electricity cost.  I also hard how you can mine electroneum using your phone but when I calculated the profits I see that it did not worth it.  Now that most coins are down and we must used electricity for minining, I will like to ask if minining is still profitable? And as a miner what are your doing now to make good profits from cryptocurrencies minining?

Electroneum is not worth mining on the phone. It is useless. There are asics that can mine it and even with them it is not worth it.
Mining is profitable if you dont pay for electricity ot you pay next to nothing. In short somebody can mine profitable even in these bad markets.

Observing BCH's performance which will experience Hard Frok, I saw the younger brother of BTG a little, I was surprised was there any good news about BTG along with BCH ?, BTG went up a little in recent days ... and I feel happy if BTG returns to its original price. What about your predictions with BTG?

BTG is a hype coin offering nothing new to the market and real world.
I expect nothing good out of it, i only see oblivion

You cant do much, besides investigating they are real and have some background on the topic they want to do.
You should think if their idea has merit, and if it has a real world usage also.

Good price, you should buy and mine if you have a place to put them in.
Mining might be bad right now, but it will turn around, maybe soon maybe not, but it will.

Re: Best bounty campaign to join right now

There are many good bounties that are going on right now. You just have to check it on the bounty thread. You can try Gemera token bounty, or the bounties handled by Amazix, Sylon , Wapinter or Blockeye.

Up until recently i would recommend amazix bounties as one of the best, but that is not the case anymore. MOBU bounty has left me disappointed, after everything was altered at the end of the bounty. Ether payouts were promised, and were not given at the end. MOBU is putting the blame for the poor results on the bounty hunters, and it is the same as blaming billboard on which you put your commercial for the poor placement of your product on the market. In reality you are to blame for poor analysis of the market you are in.

Re: Bitcoin's Energy Consumption!
by
bobo012
on 25/10/2018, 12:12:54 UTC
I was reading an article which explains that bitcoin might be able to run on a clean energy technology to avoid claims such as bitcoin uses a lot of energy which increases the global energy consumption.

It says that bitcoin can run its functions using decarbonized energy systems and is merely being over criticized. While other industries are producing the most carbon emission, the critics are after bitcoin!

My question is that what other forms of energy is bitcoin using for its mining?
Are there any other possible solutions to decrease bitcoin’s energy consumption?

https://theconversation.com/stop-worrying-about-how-much-energy-bitcoin-uses-97591

Anything can run on renewable and green energy, and it is not. But you dont see anybody questioning that other operations. Do you wonder why? Why is somebody promoting only bitcoin as a bad player? In whose interest is that?

Re: IS GAINING PROFIT A COMPETITION?
by
bobo012
on 25/10/2018, 12:08:40 UTC
Let it not be! That is the number one reason for the investors, especially new to this part because of jealousy about other users that they have come up with a good profit, so you follow their tips and turns out that you made a bad investment leading you to loss profit. Always make your own move, and to strengthen that up, you must do your own research regarding market prices, and the altcoins and coins features to fully come up with a good call to assure that your investment are completely safe and can produce profit.

Don't be sad that you get only a small amount of profit. It is better to get small profit, than to make reckless investments that ends in a bad profit.

Does anyone experience this? Please share. Thank you!

It is a hard earned money nowdays. Most airdrops are not worth it, and the same is with the bounties. Very few of them will yield in a good return for the time invested.

I cant wait for someone to actually get a banking licence and have its own bank. Issue its own cards and avoid visa and mastercard at all.
There is enough money in crypto to be able to do that, and be independable
