well that depends on the coin you want to mine and the type of pool you want. Could you please be more specific about what you are looking for?

Agreed, JohnK is the best escrow, but there are also a lot of other possible escrow providers with various ups and downs. Also, keep in mind escrow with paypal is kind of pointless (paypal can be charged back unless the escrow is 45 days)

Just a humble suggestion, but you may want to offer more BTC/specify the link of the item you want purchased/offer escrow so you get more interest.

Re: Why do the mods allow accounts to be bought and sold?

Brand new on the board here but it seems to me like you shouldn't be allowed to purchase a hacked or abandoned or sold/aged account, heck you can't even delete your own account for the protection of users down the line.

No other forum of this size allows accounts to be sold or purchased and if they are or are found out to be then they are banned and deleted or at least tagged in someway so that other users know about it.

The only realistic reason for someone to purchase an account would be to scam others, period.

If the mods and owners are allowing this activity to happen then they are at the very least, complicit in the scams, extortion, blackmailing and theft that is rampant throughout this forum.

How can you guys allow this activity?

The only reason someone would buy accounts is not necessarily to scam people. They could also want it for advertising purposes. But mostly, it is because the admin allows it.

This raises red flags without even looking at the site.
After looking at the site, it's even worse.
Might wanna explain what exactly this website does?

I would appreciate some explanations as well before I risk any BTC in this.

Thanks

I would do as some other people have suggested and mine alts. Then convert that into BTC and there you go. If done correctly, it could net profit and it would require time.

Great, I don't care.

You may want to heed his words. You could consider offering some alternative form of payment that is not reversible if you desire.

You can search this forum for all the information you desire. Else:
scrypt is the alg behind LTC and most alts. It is FPGA and ASIC resistant and is currently best mined via GPU.

You could trade as suggested above, or you could buy an ASIC for BTC, or you could buy GPUs for alts, or you could CPU primecoin.
