Re: Mass adoption: Naming my child bitcoin

That's too much. If you are obsessed with bitcoin, just collect kinds of stuff with the bitcoin logo or bitcoin tattoos on your body. Don't sacrifice other people for your obsession. You only think about yourself, your thoughts, and your desires but you don't think about the impact and consequences on your child if you make bitcoin as your child's name.

Re: what is the key to your success investing in bitcoin..

People who sell bitcoin even though they know they are losing money it seems they don't use extra money to buy bitcoin so they panic when the price drops.
I always use the DCA method of investing while still observing the market chart. I can't say I'm successful in investing in bitcoin and I still don't have much experience in the cryptocurrency world

Many people around me quit crypto for many reasons especially since they lose a lot. But I chose to keep holding until now and it looks like for the next few years until I get the profit I expect. Hopefully, 2023 is the year for the bull run.

As a middle-class person, I don't have extra money but I set aside a few percent of my salary for an investment that I'm prepared if I lose it. You are the hundredth person I have met with the same case and I am just saying as long as you don't sell your bitcoins then you have nothing to lose.

That was what I wanted, but after she understood what bitcoin was, what crypto was, and how it worked, she refused because she didn't want to take the risk if she made a mistake. After all, it wasn't her own money so she told me to keep it for myself.
But I think not all partners do it depending on the principles of their respective relationships

Re: What would you do if you found others' keys?

Maybe i'll just keep it and do nothing and wait for a few months or years if it doesn't seem like someone has claimed it like there's no activity on the wallet and i think it's an abandoned wallet maybe I'll move it and use it for something useful for other people not for self. If I use it for myself it makes me feel guilty to use other people's money without permission

Re: I sell motorbikes to buy bitcoins

I don't really understand the price of motorbikes and if you don't use it anymore then I agree with your decision to sell it. If you believe that bitcoin will increase drastically in the future then why not as long as that money is not used for urgent needs in the near future I think it's worth it.

Re: Is it advisable to memorize seed phrase?
by

on 06/01/2023, 23:23:03 UTC
It's very risky, I just have to remember it and not write it down on paper because I know I might forget it someday because I don't use it every day. In the early days you can remember it so easily but you don't know if you will still remember it easily a few months later. Forgetting even 1 word you will not be able to access your wallet and it is a nightmare. So, writing it down on paper and keeping it in a safe place is the best choice.

Re: Why do people store their cryptocurrency on exchanges?
by

Depending on each person, maybe they will only hold it for a short time or maybe they haven't found the right offline wallet. Btw, I had a bad experience when using ledger wallet. About 3 years ago I bought it to store some coins and hold it for a long time. so I didn't access the wallet for over a year. And when i wanted to transfer my coins i found that my ledger wallet LCD screen was showing nothing only a blue screen which required me to buy a replacement screen.

I don't think I'll be selling it for a long time maybe until I'm old. I bought at high price last year and it will be a long way to profit. I still believe bitcoin will reach $100,000

Re: How do you feel when the market is downtrend?

Before entering the crypto world and starting to buy some coins, we should already know the risks.  because I've been through a bear market several times.  Bear market are not so scary.  Keep positive thingking and look for opportunities that bring profit when the market goes up again.

Yes, I think many beginners think that way too.  Regretting something that has passed will not make you satisfied.  If you believe in bitcoin, then it's never too late to invest.

Re: Have you saved your bitcoins in multiple wallets?
by

on 02/06/2022, 22:54:11 UTC
Depends on each person, If you are not sure about only storing it in one bitcoin wallet then it's not a bad thing to store bitcoins in several wallets.  Maybe for those who plan to store bitcoins for a long time.  The important thing is that the phrase seed is stored in a safe place.
