What do you all really think about kyc for bounty hunters?
Kyc is painfull for bountie hunters. I do not like kyc because i do not want to give my data to any strangers, but i have resigned myself and renounce to bounties who demand kyc from me. You can not do anything against kyc anyway, if required.

Re: Can anyone or experts still predict/ forecast cryptocurrency nowadays?
by
boolog
on 03/02/2019, 17:48:37 UTC
This question of "Can anyone or experts still predict/ forecast cryptocurrency nowadays" keep ringing in my head because early last year there were different predictions about the rise of the crypto market in general from the so called "crypto experts" and "analysts". But to my greatest surprise, at the end of the year I could only see maybe one out of all the predictions I read about becoming true.

This makes me deduce that the crypto market can't be predicted to some extent.

Want to know people's view on this. Thanks
We should accept that the crypto market is unpredictable. Although many people make a prediction, nobody knows what will happen. That is why i do not rely on predicting any more.

Re: Decentralized Exchanges

Decentralization has been the key driving force of cryptocurrency since inception. This in my opinion is the attraction point for mass adoption, most especially being an alternative to centralization.

I did not know that there are so many decentralized exchanges. Thanks for this list. I think decentralized exchanges are the future and certainly more and more people will use them. Just after a hack, as from cryptopia, such exchanges are becoming more and more interesting.

Re: Recent bounty campaigns paying in Ethers?
by
boolog
on 01/02/2019, 17:27:03 UTC
Yes, payments using ETH will indeed be more profitable for bounty hunters. There are already several Bounty projects whose payments use ETH. And this will also make ETH grow because the amount of market demand will increase.
If my current bounty campaign is over, i am looking for a bountie that pays with ethereum. I think that is more profitable for me than getting paid in token. So far i have not a good experience with pays in token.

Re: The Real Solution to Dumping
by
boolog
on 01/02/2019, 17:18:13 UTC
Devs should stop blaming bounty hunters for dumping ,they work hard to promote your projects and they have every right to do what they like with the tokens if this is really what you don't want then

Don't pay bounty hunters in your tokens ,pay them in USD ,USDC or ETHEREUM to avoid dumping your tokens and that will have positive impact on your tokens ,dumping will always happen and if the project is a strong one then it will quickly recover
I am also for a payment in bitcoin or ethereum. So the problem would finally be solved and no one can accuse the bountie hunters anymore. But i also think that not all bountie hunter dump their tokens but rather the ico participants, who bought their token cheap with a big bonus.

Re: Can Bull run bring about the resurrection of ICOs and dead Altcoins?
by

Hello forum members, this question of "Can bull run or bull market bring about the resurrection of good ICOs and also help some good altcoins that are almost dead gain their ground and run their project smoothly?"

How feasible is my reasoning? Kindly shed more lights. Thanks
I think a dead coin is dead, even if it may be pumped again. Only if a big community revive a coin, that maybe will work.

Re: Can we stop promoting scam project?
by
boolog
on 31/01/2019, 20:45:01 UTC
Most of the bounty hunters do not get payment despite their hard working and some gets a little with shit token. Can we prevent it? Just an idea.

What if we everybody stop to promote a project which offers only token?
For launching a project, the project owner or developer should have some money to promote the project. Say for example- they have to escrow a minimum of 40% of the bounty allocation in term of usd or btc. Only then we can prevent scam ico and bounty hunter will get their money. Can we start following this rule?
I think the idea is good, but it is hard to implement. Certainly few people will follow such an appeal and that is why the idea will not work. But in any case, it would be really good if ico operators already had some money to pay at least the bountie participants, even if the ico fails.

Re: Hunter's Earners

Hello. Bounty hunters like me, Whay do you think our situation at this year of 2019 Do you think you can earn 1 bitcoin at this year for promoting and joining bounty campaigns? Please Share you experience at this past days. Wink
In my estimation you can not earn a whole bitcoin with bounties in 2019. Maybe if you have 100 or more accounts, it might work, but even then it will not be easy. Bounties only pay a few dollars for several weeks of work in 2019 or in the worst case they pay nothing.

Hey guys, since bitcoin ETF is not still approved by SEC, Bakkt is the closest big event for crypto community. Do you think crypto market will pump?
I would not rely on bakkt to positively influence the crypto market. That is why i do not expect a pump on the crypto market because of bakkt.

Re: Why Exchange Run ICOs may be a bad idea
by
boolog
on 30/01/2019, 19:54:42 UTC
So we all witnessed the first major exchange-run tokensale, the BTT tokensale at Binance. Binance has decided to list tomorrow and looking at the sentiments around the reply given, it may not be a good idea for future projects.

Many of CT believe it's just a mere manipulation by whales since they'll always by first. The BTT tokensale had just about 1000 buyers and people think that's where great manipulation will come from.
So how does this determine the future of other similar projects. Now, let's wait to see if it'll be a pump/dump scheme so that we can better conclude.

source: https://twitter.com/cz_binance/status/1090572501476765697
For me it sounds also as if only the big whales got btt token. To stabilize the btt price, maybe that is good, even if the price can be heavily manipulated. Still, you should not hype an ico just because it is done on Binance.

Re: do we still have hope to be able to see bull run??
by
boolog
on 27/01/2019, 18:12:07 UTC
now the market falls again, do we still have hope to be able to see bull run. no one knows when the market can recover. even with the many good news about the ethereum hardfork unable to make the market jump. so I thought bull run would only be a dream for all of us.
Of course we all want a new bull run, but it will take some time before that happens. I am still convinced of that. My prediction is a new bull run will come in 2020 or 2021, but its only a prediction. If a new bull run will really come, we will see it in some months.

Re: ways to earn ETHEREUM quickly on a regular basis
by

on 27/01/2019, 18:04:40 UTC
This is new and I've never seen anything like this before but how will you make tour profit back if you buy stakes from hunters ?it makes me feel that holding those tokens is the best

- Users which are buying bounty stakes are trying to buy them as cheap as possible in order to obtain related tokens for the best possible price. So, the highest ROI is the advantage.
- Hunters who deposit and sell (if they want) their stakes get ETH in seconds. This is their advantage.
- ICO or STO project who list its bounty stakes on TOKPIE gets great hype (buzz).
- TOKPIE earns from trade fees paid by buyers and sellers.
Good assessment, all parties will gained their respective positions, it's all about how a traders/investors thinks about the supported projects and how bounty will quickly released their stakes, while the platform will initialized profits when fees has been generated between the two, good thing that
a system like this was introduce as all will benefits according to what they want.

Yes, it's a win-win-win for all participants!
As my current signature campaign is about to expire in some weeks, i will take a closer look at tokpie. It all sounds very interesting to me. I find the possibility to exchange my stakes immediately in ethereum very charming.

Re: 2020 best year for ICO
by
boolog
on 26/01/2019, 21:27:12 UTC
I bet we will see better and baddass projects in 2020 simply because bitcoin halving is 2020 ,since what most devs care about is market condition and fear of dumping there tokens 2020 will be a better target for upcoming projects  and that doesn't mean there won't be scam projects too ,profits is all we care about isn't it?
That's a very optimistic assessment of the ico market next year. Through the bitcoin halving it could come back to a new bull run, but if icos benefit from it, i doubt somehow. I think it needs something else to bring the ico market back into swing. But unfortunately i do not know what that is either.

Re: Good news from Japan
by

We know that Asia is crypto-mad, and this article shows that Japan may well lead the way to mass-adoption through retail payments.

https://cryptomenow.com/why-japan-could-become-first-major-crypto-market-to-see-mainstream-merchant-adoption/
Yes, those news are quite nice, but the price of crypto is not impressed. I do not understand why the spread seems to go on and on, but it does not change the price positively. So slowly that's a bit depressing.  Cry

Re: Regulations or Anonymity
by
boolog
on 25/01/2019, 18:47:36 UTC
These two have been topics of debates for quite some time. Some want Anonymity, while others want Regulation. Either of these two will work best for us.
It will get to a time that we just have to choose between Regulations and Anonymity.
If i have the choice, i would choose anonymity. In the crypto area, anonymity is important to me, because i don't want my neighbour to know the stock of my coins, for example. Therefore i would not like it if the crypto area is regulated. But i have a different opinion on icos. There would be a regulation good to prevent the whole scam ico.

What is your market prediction for the first quarter of 2019?
First quarter of 2019 is still very young and it is hard to say what's going to happen. It looks as if nothing will change like the last quarter 2018, but that can still change. I will definitely wait and see how the market develops in the next few weeks. I still hope for a positive change.

Re: exchange fees that no one talks about
by
boolog
on 24/01/2019, 21:02:01 UTC
how is it that every one is complaining about bitcoin high fees etc. but they arent talking about the ridiculous exchange withdrawal fees? these fees cost 10$ usd. that is sky high fees. this is tradesatoshi site. other site were charging alot too. u want to send and receive but these exchanges are making more money that the miners. where are you guys going to send and withdrawing your coins? these exchanges charging a dime for the withdrawal fees is not going to drive up adoption. i rather transact with a visa card. imagine buying some kfc and ur sending bitcoins through but get charge 10$ extra because exchange fees. thats bs.
There are really many exchanges in the meantime and if the fees are too high, you can go to another exchange. The market is big enough and there are still exchanges with low fees. If that does not work, i would exchange my coins for another coin where the fees are lower.  Wink

Re: How is the price of ETH next 2020?
by
boolog
on 24/01/2019, 20:50:08 UTC
The developing community behind ETH is huge and once most ICO projects have sold all their ETH that they received in 2017, I am sure we will see the price rise again.

in 2020 ethereum will reach 1000s again. dont wait this move in 2019. in 2019 ethereum will be between 10 and 150.
So is my current assessment of ethereum's price too. I think he could reach the $1000 again in 2020, but only if it comes to a bull run. Without a bull run i think it will be rather a price of $400-$500.

Let me get this straight 2019 will be better than 2018 but don't expect too much from it ,even if ETF and bakkt get approved ,that won't trigger the next bull run ,let's start waiting for the next bitcoin halving because that's when the next bullrun will triggered.
I do not care when or by what the next bull run will be triggered, as long as he really comes. I think that for many people here in the forum, the most important.

Re: Holding a bag of useless illiquid tokens like me?

on 23/01/2019, 16:38:38 UTC
I am holding a bag of useless illiquid tokens. So do millions of other people in our community. We must do something about it! So I decided to Pick up the gauntlet. I’m having meetings with projects leaders, big companies, and trading platform, trying to find the best solution for all of us. Would love to hear your situation, thoughts, and ideas.
I just leave such worthless tokens in my wallet and wait. They do not bother me and maybe they are worth something in the future. So as long as i have paid nothing for these token, so i can not lose.
