Firecoin2 initially began as a Feathercoin2, a joke coin created to poke fun at all the recent altcoin releases. However, after a surprisingly smooth launch, and some community support, it has been decided that this coin will relaunch as Firecoin2.

also to clarify, there was no actual relaunch. just a name switch.

how is it unfair? would you like some firecoins? Why didn't you get yourself some free ones from the firecoin faucet or multiple firecoin/feathercoin2 giveaways? how many would you like right now? how is changing the name deceptive?? we kept the same thread, always referenced it was once feathercoin2. I like the name firecoin.
Look, it was launched as a joke, how many clear thinking miners are going to waste resources on something with no return. Oh WAIT, it's not a joke(quick change the name) - Firecoins for sale. I'm not a hater, I am stating the obvious, which some might have overlooked.
Thats exactly why we changed the name. we were up to 250 mhs while it was still a joke. Weve been stating the same facts, never deceptive about firecoin. You were definitely hating before....
dev should have made a new thread for launch
the original post was meant as a joke, so why would people have a reason to revisit that thread
edit: i'm confused. was the coin actually relaunched? or was the name just changed and everyone kept their coins?

Dosent matter how long it took to develop, its a better coin than any other in a while, and people were working on those other coins much longer - It also dosent matter if it started out as a joke or not / if something works, it works. Imagine how many things we use, watch or deal with everyday that started out as a joke, and is priceless, multibillion dollar companies, what have you.... Im not saying this is the next BitCoin, it's not - But its the best alt. we have had in a while. If people looked into it a little more rather than hype and cool names like these other coins, you all will see your wallet full of FC2 go a long way -

I think this coin has got the best support i've ever seen in a alt so far
support = early adopters
FC was pump and dump with a lot of support
CHN was pump and dump with a lot of support

Yes, but I refuse to support this garbage this time around. The developer has proven himself to be extraordinarily inept, and I refuse to help him in any way, shape, or form.I encourage you to ditch elacoin and try out feathercoin2. Unlike elacoin, feathercoin2 has windows support!
