they need you to buy because thats how a snowball works. the last ones will be holding the bag.

sorry to say this but the price is only that high because anyone keeps for the "the long term" "i believe" blabla, they just want it to go up

i personally believed if there was no reduction in block reward AND a cap at 21 mill, it could have been alot less "snowball"

but thanks for the technic involved, i guess some altcoin will make it into future. bitcoin is just not for the masses, little transaction volume possible, keep your wallet offline (like digging your money) in several places, be afraid of hackers, bugs, and security flaws (heartbeat anyone) , i myself was a small miner and never will be buying bitcoin unless they have something i need only available for bitcoin, guess what i dont believe this happens

Re: Banned From BFL Forums For Honest Debate
by

on 02/03/2014, 11:00:55 UTC
Hello,

i dont want to protect bfl anything, i never baught fpga's or asics.

but you all should be aware that when there is a miner available for instant delivery, either the price will be barely ROI'able or it will be sold out within seconds.
third would be: unlimited supply of instant delivered miners. soo, how you gonna roi when millions of ppl buy those and put them on the network the next day ?

it simply is not useful, think about it. bfl is either incompetent or protecting their favored early delivered customers, like inaba gigavps and such, anyways there is no way any customer can be satisfied in such a perv system like bitcoin mining.

well, guess you gotta see where you are in this hostile shark ridden sea. He has lost 110k btc in bitcoinica only to hear the "safe funds" within mtgox dissappeared also.

Hallo,

Well,

you could lower the prices of the in hand devices if you made sure ppl pay orders of not yet produced ones, and mixed the calculation with the not yet existing ones.
Like 10 PPL putting BTC into excrow, you could be sure its there, and order 30k bitfury chips.

I dont know what additional costs you have, but i think the chips take 2 weeks, maybe production also if the assembly company is not busy ?

I think there could be a real run if you say its .65 btc delivery in 4 weeks. oh nvm the shitstorm if something fails there Wink

What if asic manufacturers raise the btc price ?
by
borgfish
on 21/06/2013, 09:12:35 UTC
Hello,

i came to a thought, and would like to hear opinions about this:

what if asic manufacturers raised / keep raising the btc price by not converting btc payments / buying additional btc ::: to warrant high sales price of their wares ?
Not only would there be a cash inflow (to btc market) of ppl buying btc to pay for an asic with, but with the raised asic prices because of high btc price and the directly USD inflow they could as well partially buy additional btc to warrant for even more btc prices raise.

together with people keeping their btc because of the deflationary layout of btc this would warrant "further inflation of the bubble" : i myself believe its not useful to have the price volatile as its bad for the main purpose of btc: payments.

such a shame there will be lots of "early adoper" millionaires from the money the latecomers pay.. i myself believe the deflationary layout(making ppl keep their btc's) is an absolute proof of a "big time ponzi", it could as well be a steady mining revenue for all times..

if i was new to this, i would'nt buy into it. if noone would, when do you suppose a coinhoarder would drop his btc into the market and the price will go to the bottom ?

greetings
