How is the modified federated Byzantine agreement(mFBA) algorithm different?
In addition to FBA, the BOScoin consensus protocol also applies a Proof of Stake feature for the maintenance of the governance system. Users can freeze coins in units of 10,000 BOS within a node and forgo liquidity in return for newly issued BOScoin(similar to interest on savings) based on the total number of frozen coin in the node. The frozen coins in the node then act as both an economic incentive to operate a node as well as collateral for the security and integrity of the information held in the nodes blockchain. According to the pre-set rules, if the node is discovered to have forged the blockchain on the node, the frozen coins are forfeited to the Commons Budget.
This talk presents the Stellar consensus protocol, the first provably safe federated Byzantine agreement protocol. Unlike prior Byzantine agreement protocols, which presuppose unanimous agreement on system membership, a federated protocol allows the set of participating organizations to grow organically over time. Using consensus, organizations cement one another's commitments into a public history that bad actors cannot rewrite or fork. Applications of the technology include timestamping documents, preventing certificate authorities from issuing fraudulent duplicate certificates, and efficiently securing transaction settlement in digital markets.
The Stellar protocol gives individual participants control over whom to trust and how much to trust them. It follows the paradigm established by Internet routing, in which an organization's importance is determined not by any central authority but by individual, pairwise peering arrangements. Compared to other decentralized consensus mechanisms, such as the proof-of-work and proof-of-stake schemes popular in digital currencies, federated consensus decouples trust from resource ownership and requires no assumptions about the rational behavior of attackers. I hope Kucoin processing will not be a problem. I think it might be a little tense because it's a new chain on the other side.
I would like to see the speed of the transaction when there are multiple transactions being done through bos.
ETH proved to be slower with crypto kitties, so don't want to see the same fate for boscoin.
ICOs btw. DAPPs like Crypto Kitties can congest BOScoin the same way just on another level.
This surely will happen to BOSnet, too, if no countermeasures are taken.
A counter measure could be e.g. separated processing lines on the network which don't allow a single DAPP to consume more tha a certain percentage (say 20%) of the whole network.
If a single Dapp is provided 20% of the network won't there be many similar dapps coming in and congesting the network? 20% seems to be too much here.
the assumptions are that BOScoin can be reached on chain 1000 tps with low latency as possible, quick blocks and full decentralization through application mFBA consensus.
this allows to maintain not only "cryptokitties" but dozens of other applications without overloading the network, whereas the speed of ethereum is 15 tps and slow POW consensus...

The worst part is that we are only being considered on this exchange (the exchange that listed confido BTW) because of the vote. Nothing to do with Boscoin teams efforts.
BOScoin it will be Top Rated crypto in 2018, currently such exchanges as kucoin are not needed.
The exchange itself will come with the time. I'm just waiting to appear FOMO for BOScoin and hype as IOTA.

Early investors of BOScoin are in a comfortable status and there is no reason to reduce the 40,000 BOScoin necessary for the masternodes.
Besides, the current cost of $60-80k to buy 40,000 BOScoin don't seem big. You will have to pay even more after MainNet Launch.
