Hi

now that my mining equipment is slowly generating some return, i've gone through alot of potential IPO coins and i have concluded that whilst i do not question your programming ability, like 99% of other coin, devs have no idea of a business proposal.  if i took you OP to a bank and asked for a loan/investment they would get security and kick me out.  i have no idea what this coin is about and and where you are trying to take us.  is it really that hard to document a timetable of goals that would add value to your concept.  giving away coins or promising answers after launch adds no value at all.  bold for me to say it would even hinder the legitimacy and/or the seriousness of your IPO if this is all you have to offer.  i challenge you to rethink and create a clear and concise model and lead the way for other devs to present their ideas.  my point!  if i changed the name of your coin from your OP to mixcoin or techcoin, no one would notice.

i'm sorry your coin is the one i vented my frustration at, but looking at altcoin calendar i have gone through the last 15 coins to be release and they are all the same bar % of IPO, algo, block reward and POW duration.  whilst these variable are important, its not the deciding factor that will make a great coin.  i hope you find this constructive criticism and not trolling, it was not my intent but its time this community matured.

Many Thanks

I agree to the general idea of this post as well.
What's the plan with this coin? With this little info, i'm not feeling like running upstairs and booting up my mining rig for this.

I am using sgminer 5 now, which supports "profiles" in the conf file. When i try to add this conf file to a (new) profile in cgwatcher 1.4.0 it generates an error at the line preceeding the "profiles" section.

Should a "profiles" section in a config file be working already, or will this be supported in a future release of cgwatcher?

So is hashing.at forked or is it a just a vicious rumor?

where is the dev to confirm or not this?

I got a payout from hashing.at to my wallet. I think it's just the stats that are not updated regularly.

Sad when "official pool" is last up..
It is. I'm glad i'm always using cgwatcher. I set up 4 pools and the first one online connected right away.

blitz.hashing.at just reset all my coins to zero! Sad
I can't set my wallet address either, this errormessage is shown: "Failed to update your account: Unable to connect to RPC server for coin address validation".

with mem 1500 and clock 1100, it's still about 360, that oc don't give me much

but he have a 290, he should get 450kh/s..
True!  Grin He should check out the vertcoin mining settings thread to try some of the configs there. It's exactly the same.

With vertcoin i couldn't use TCC 8192 because the hashrate would drop to 20kh/s. But i just tried it again (with EXE mining of course!), and now it's going up to 360kh/s! (WU 338/m)
(That's with an 280X on 1000/1500).

Amph, if you're paying the electricity bill yourself, have you calculated the extra costs of the increased power draw when overclocking versus the extra profit of an extra 25kh/s?

seems low, i'm getting 381 with my 280x
But with 1125 core / 1750 mem as you stated in your earlier post, that's quite an overclock! Wink

Same as with other Scrypt-N coin mining (such as vertcoin and panda), i also have a few HW errors every now and then. This doesn't affect my hashrate, it's only 0.02% of the total hashing power. I'm not worried about it.
It can be tweaked to 0%, but i found a TCC value for my cards that give me a fairly high hashrate, so i'm leaving it at this.

People are trading this coin at NXT-E now.   Cheesy

Hi.. i have a asus radeon r9 280x but with the miner im getting only 10 kh/s  .. anyone knows what should i do?
heres my conf file

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
exeminer.exe --nscrypt -o stratum+tcp://stratum.coinpool.cc:3333 -u loicatraile.trabajito -p trabajo2 -v 1 -w 256 -I 13 -g 2 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-powertune -20,-20 --temp-overheat 85 --temp-cutoff 90 --gpu-memclock 1500,1500 --gpu-engine 1000,1000 --thread-concurrency 8193
It's al about finetuning the Thread Concurrency value.

Try to look for settings for your card in this thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=416572.0
I know it's for Vertcoin, but since it is also an N-scrypt coin, the settings will be the same.

EXEcoin can be mined with vertminer 0.5.3 as well. I use the same settings and i get the same hashrate as i did with Vertcoin.

My Club3D and MSI 280X casrds will get approximately 345kh/s each with these settings:
GPU core 1000MHz, GPU mem 1500MHz
and:
"gpu-threads" : "2",
"intensity" : "13",
"worksize" : "256",
"lookup-gap" : "2",
"thread-concurrency" : "8160",

But what about the diff retarget time of 24 hours? Is there a possibility that this is going to be a problem in certain scenario's?

Is it possible to log (automatic) pool changes? I just saw the pool change, but it wasn't logged.

Is it possible to completely disable the coin profitability feature, so CGWatcher won't query CoinChoose server for data and won't add coin profitability entries to the log?
I might want to use the profit calculator someday, but for now i would just like to get rid of the numerous coinchoose entries in the logfile (e.g. "A Scrypt coin has appeared on CoinChoose called ....").
