any team profiles that are not anonymous?  who are some big name investors or vc teams working with the team?

nobody wants another wonderland sifu event again.

everyone has a sound project until a SHTF event and we see how the team recovers.

Added EOS.

You can now generate your public private key pairs for EOS. You'll still need to link an account name to it after its generated.

[ANN] Chrome Extension - Blockchain Gateway - BTC ETH XMR OpenAlias DNS Resolver
by
box0211
on 02/10/2018, 18:18:20 UTC
Chrome Extension:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/blockchain-gateway/mcppmdjlghmadabjofodajpppiloembp

Blockchain Gateway - Cryptocurrency Domain + Open Alias Resolver

Real world use cases of the Ardor blockchain alias system and Open Alias protocol:

- Add a crypto address to a tweet without taking up a bulk of the limited character count.
- No need to look up long crypto addresses. Just remember your domain name to reference an address using Open Alias protocol or Ardor alias system.
- Hide text or shorten text using an Ardor alias. Censorship resistant to bypass bot detection algorithms on sites.

This extension lets you resolve blockchain handlers such as BTC:// XMR:// ETH:// USDT:// IGNIS:// ARDOR://

The Open Alias (openalias.org) handler is also supported: OA:// OPENALIAS://

The blockchain handlers will output the value of the URL as plain text when clicked. Currently all handlers resolve to the IGNIS child chain as a test bed before building out BTC, ETH, USDT and XMR child chains on the the Ardor platform.

*All alias text data is stored on a BitTorrent type decentralized storage layer called the Ardor Data Cloud.*

To register your own alias, you can visit: https://bit.ly/2QwYhSr password is "secret" (testnet coins are available are first come first serve). All URL aliases reside on Ardor testnet and if you like to use mainnet, you can install Ardor (ardorplatform.com) locally. Goto options and point to your local node: http://localhost:7876

should i sell my eth?

looks like its going to drop more. maybe its better to stick with real currencies like btc or xmr. way too many new smart contract platforms they are competing with.

Shamir Secret Sharing is now working with the paper wallets. You can split a private key into 2-9 parts and recombine them with 2-4 if you want. Good use case if you want to secure your coins among different parties.

Memory Paper Wallet

Customizable Paper Wallet for Bitcoin Segwit, Ethereum, Monero, Litecoin, Ardor/Ignis

Live Site: https://goo.gl/dgDnhb

Source: https://github.com/xcubicle/memorypaperwallet

Sponsored by xCubicle Blockchain Labs - https://www.xcubicle.com

We've all run into the issue of gifting bitcoin to friends or family at one time or another. A lot of the times, newcomers have a hard time grasping the concept of "digital" money. They think if you can't feel it physically, it isn't "real". Paper wallets are the best way for beginners to get their feet wet into cryptocurrency. Since they can hold it and see it, its a much easier segway into this new concept of "digital money".

Originally we were giving out bitcoins on paper wallets to friends, family, and businesses, but the online tools were lacking in aesthetics in terms of being able to customize your own paper wallet. Also a lot of the times, we ran into the issue of just "throwing" away money as these people didn't take it seriously and just lost their private keys. They eventually realize their 20 cents worth of bitcoins was worth a significant amount, they ended up asking if we still had the coins we gave them.

This was the motivation to create a paper wallet generator to solve this problem. The ability to have a "master passphrase" to regenerate their keys if they lose it in the future and the ability to use your own custom artwork for birthday, wedding, or Christmas gifts.

Basing our work on Warp Wallet and Memwallet. We managed to retro fit these brain wallet generators with new enhancements for everyday use. Keep in mind these paper wallets are meant to store small insignificant amount of coins which are meant to be given away as gifts or for short term storage. Even with a simple 8 character passphrase, the scrypt address generation is meant to be memory and time-intensive so others can't easily guess your secret. This is why paper wallets should only be meant to store insignificant amounts to be used as gifts.

Main Features:

- Custom printable artwork.
- Passphrase recovery
- Bitcoin segwit paper wallet support.
- Litecoin, Etherem, Monero, and Ardor/Ignis Support.
- Identicon implementation. Visually identify your address.

It can fit on a FLOPPY disk!

From my first tests it looks good. I may test it further one of the days, since I like the idea.
I would have preferred to not have the e-mail calculated into the private keys generation, but that's me (I have too many e-mail addresses).
All in all, well done!

thanks. you don't need to put your email if you don't want to. you can literally put anything and don't even need a passphrase. i just chose email as its something everyone remembers.

i was thinking maybe to run a contest just for fun on who can make the coolest paper wallet artwork.

I forked and improved the warp wallet implementation with it generating additional coins. You can try it here:

https://xcubicle.github.io/memorypaperwallet/

It generates Bitcoin segwit, Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero, and Ardor. Obviously don't ever put your life savings on these as they are meant for small amounts. Get a hardware wallet for larger amounts.

So will Ardor token be used to pay fees or just used for mining blocks? How are fees going to be paid on the child chains? if its the native child token, then how does one derive how much fees are paid if i issue 10 trillion tokens?

United Artist / Regal Cinemas Movie Tickets -- $8 Each --- Lowest price....
by
box0211
on 12/10/2016, 21:25:43 UTC

I have a bunch of these tickets and willing to sell them under market value as compared to buying it from corporate:

https://corporateboxoffice.com/discount-tickets/premiere-movie-ticket -- Goes for $8.50 + Shipping fee = $8.75 or so

Selling for $8 in BTC each.

You just let the ticket booth guy scan it and they will print out the movie ticket for you.

NO restrictions on these tickets, you can watch anything.

PM for how many you want. I'll scan the barcodes and email it to you once paid.
