Re: Is bitcoin really secure

Some people invest some if not all of thier asset in bitcoin. They are lured by its growing up value its equivalent to fiat currency but is bitcoin really safe and secure.? What do you think.,
If this isn't peak bitcoin, I'm not sure what is. This week saw a staggering price run ($17,000!!!) along with wall-to-wall media coverage, and was capped off by the CEO of Coinbase—whose core business is bitcoin—telling people to calm down and invest responsibly.

It seems panic sell is over and bitcoin is recovering.
I just want to say thanks for allowing me and others to buy bitcoin at cheaper price.

Let this remind you to not blindly follow fake news and fud. Be strong and cool in head.
At the time, the dominance index of bitcoin rose to 38 percent, recovering from its all-time low at 32 percent. Over the past week, the dominance index of bitcoin has fallen from 38 percent to 34 percent, and the daily transaction volume of bitcoin has more than halved, from 490,000 transactions to 242,000 ...

What if somebody will make a huge dump and sell it all the way to earn some profits because of this rally in bitcoin, and someone sees it and do that same thing. Is there any effect on bitcoin when someone to this,?
DEFINITION of 'Panic Selling' Wide-scale selling of an investment, causing a sharp decline in price. In most instances of panic selling, investors just want to get out of the investment, with little regard for the price at which they sell.

Crypto traders were in a selling mood on Wednesday and Thursday, with Bitcoin dipping below $10000 for the fourth time this year. Bitcoin quickly recovered lost ground, and all digital currencies are making a comeback, but we're far from the highs registered earlier this week.

Re: FINANCIAL TIPS

I dont know if this where the right place to post but here it is. This is most applicable for those minimum wage earner who struggles in life and wanted to invest too.

* DONT SPEND BEYOND WHAT YOU EARN.

This is particular to those credit card addicts where swipping it is their life. They spend most of their needs on cards, groceries, gadgets installment etc. They spend beyond their limits and usually paying excess charges because of this. They often didnt get through this swipe pay cycle because of their limited fund capacity.

* SAVE FIRST BEFORE SPENDING

I think this is the hardest part of the financial budget if you are earning just right for paying your monthly bill and daily necessities. But what will you have to do ? . You dont need that high portion of savings everytime. For example , you have $50 on your hand in excess of your expenses, budget it for a week in a very cheap way , groceries would be better, then save what is remained. Take aside your weekly starbucks and put it on your bank. You can take coffe at home or on a cheap way. Small amounts will get big in a time and you can start investing after. You can always reward yourself after if you start investing and earned passively.

* SET SOME GOALS

This is the most effective way ive done so far. Being comitted on your goal is almost 100% sure. If you are setting a goal for example this year where you have to save $5 weekly and you will save $260 in the end of the year, if you always looking for the outcome, im sure you will do this without leaping or maybe advance save it up.

All three of this is what i do everytime ans it helps me save and gain some capitals for investment on cryptocurrency. I hope these three would help someone even on a little way.
Take Control of Your Own Financial Future
If you don't learn to manage your own money, other people will find ways to (mis)manage it for you. Some of these people may be ill-intentioned, like unscrupulous commission-based financial planners. Others may be well-meaning, but may not know what they're doing, like Grandma Betty who really wants you to buy a house even though you can only afford a treacherous adjustable-rate mortgage.

once again the market is smiling upon everyone who has not yet invested in bitcoin and wanted to become a part of this community and hold some small stake in this scarce currency.
this smiling won't last for long though.

it is not too late, but still you have to invest what you can afford to lose. you can wait a little while to see when this dip is going to end before jumping in if you want to take risks, or you can just buy now since it is a dip.
Am i too late to apologize and bring back the old us. i know we've been through difficult time. but i just want you to know that im sorry for all my mistakes.  i hope someday you and i become friends again. This is just like a bitcoin to me when someone must hurt try again to post to earn bitcoin's heart.

I think it will be difficult for you to convert your bitcoin to fiat money. If you can find someone who would buy your bitcoin and send you fiat money as payment, then you can do so. However, if you will only sell small amounts, it would be difficult for you to sell it because some people buy big amount of bitcoin.
Once you complete a sale, you'll receive the money into your Cash Balance and be able to either withdraw into your bank account, PayPal account or Bitcoin wallet.

The value of btc will drop if this happens like a regular stock market crash
Panic selling may occur after a sudden, sharp decline in the price of a security. Panic selling does not involve an evaluation of the fundamentals of a stock or market conditions.

hello

yesterday i  had created a new topic with this

title  : 'do you still believe ...... ? '
Content   : ' do  you still believe that there is no one in control of bitcoin ?'

and he got more than 4 answer pages in less than one hour,  but i cannot found it today  Roll Eyes Shocked Grin Grin Kiss

why it has been removed ?

did i hurt anyone ? did I touch anyone?     Smiley Smiley

I ask to publish it now !

jal007.

Someone was not hurt. Moderators might have deleted if they found the content repetitive or of no use to this forum. Try to use search function from next time before posting a question. If a similar question is asked in the past and you repeat it, there are chances it will be deleted by the moderators.

Regarding your question that "no one is in control of bitcoins", it is true to some extent. But I think big investors are capable of manipulating the price to some extent. They can create huge price drops by selling a fraction of their holdings.
Someone hurt because she fights with his boyfriend A night out with friends
It might not sound like much but a person who is hurt needs to know that they have the ability to feel happy again. A night out with friends will have them feeling like themselves, in no time. Well, at least for a while, when they have time to think they will reflect about the good things life has to offer and a night out with friends will be one of those amazing things.

Been inactive for awhile and I was pumped up to rank up my member status from Member to Full Member by increasing number of my posts. When it meet the requirements, I was surprised that we need additional Merits to rank up our position. I think it is really good to eliminate negative posts to help the community growing up. Now the question is how to increase Merit? Is Merit trading allowed?

Mostly the ICOs project that currently being developed, is obligated to have their investors KYC as the requirement from their country where the project was created. I think it is true that they need to submit the list of their investors KYC so either from the project and the country itself can trace the money that was used in the ICO, and in case something bad happens, so they can quickly process it.
Know your customer ('KYC') is the process of a business identifying and verifying the identity of its clients. The term is also used to refer to the bank and anti-money laundering regulations which governs these activities.

Good day as I am new to the crypto world What is really the way to make $ in in crypto ? such as Bitcoin or other coins?

I understand as i have some invested. in my wallets the values go up and down, so you can cash out or sell when value up?

do you just buy and sell currency as the markets move up and down? or what other ways to make $ with crypto?
do you transfer bitcoin over to other websites etc?

or what should i be focusing on? thanks

just like to know what all the experts do?
To make or earn money in crypto is Paid-to-Click Websites
As suggested by the name, these websites pay users in Bitcoin for visiting certain websites or viewing certain advertisements. There are many PTC websites that will pay negligible amounts in Bitcoin for clicks and views, with Ads4BTC probably being the most famous and the most popular. This website allows users to choose between viewing ads that are 5 seconds, 10 seconds or 20 seconds, with different fees being awarded for each. Based on the prices offered by Ads4BTC, if you had 20 second ads running for an entire day, you would make less than $10 per day, so this may not be a viable option for most.

So where should we invest bitcoin to actually earn some profit and increase the amount of bitcoin we own, is there any legit place?
I mean cloud mining is a scam but there must be something else we can actually do right?
It is so simple ! The Banks are using our money to invest it on high yield interest funds. And they keep giving us at least about 2% annual rate of return.

Of all the large companies that are now large internet players, do anyone particularly scare you in terms of how you data and track could be used? Amazon, Facebook, Twitter, …?

Actually for me all companies are scary but based on activities and status updates on Facebook, the company can predict (with scary accuracy) whether or not your relationship is going to last.

People use other cryptocurrencies like ETH, LTC, BCH(like it or not), etc too. But compared to BTC and ETH, sites/services that use some of those other coins are definitely significantly lower. Also, take note that some(or most) of the coins are still in their very early development stages, so expect the usability and adoption to be very very low.
