Re: Stablecoins Explained (Written by: Lukas Schor)

Just my two cents; Stablecoins are boring. Might as well invest in real stocks or fiat. What I find exciting about crypto is its volatility, although granted. not always as fun, and you can say what you want, it IS exciting.

betting on 2-4% gains per year just doesn't cut it for me, takes away the excitement.

Re: 100 usd enough to start trading ?
by
bramgg.crypto
on 28/09/2018, 14:20:38 UTC
I think it's good to have 100 bucks to start trading. You need to learn somewhere right? My advice would be to chop it up in smaller amounts, and do some research on projects that interest you. Check out some top 10s or top 100s of what everyone else is following and research why they are following those projects. Read whitepapers, check out community forums etcetera. Literally do research, that's just about the only way you will understand the projects you are willing to put your money in and crypto in general.

It takes a long time (speaking for myself) to understand the how's and why's of cryptocurrency and various projects. I'm not saying I'm a big time investor, not by a long shot, but have invested close to 2000 bucks in different projects. It has not been very profitable yet, but I'm confident the cryptocurrency market will turn bullish again. It is just a matter of time.

Good luck and enjoy the rabbit hole.

Re: Six New and Improved Cryptocurrency Analysis Tools

Thank for the heads-up! It's always interesting to see other tools come into the cryptoverse. Since CMC is the biggest and most used tool there is, other tools need to bring something new to the table. Be it new features or just (even) better usability. Will start reading now..

Good find, Thnx.

Re: What is the reason for Ripple 40% increase? My Opinion
by
bramgg.crypto
on 21/09/2018, 14:20:32 UTC
Hmm, where have I seen this before.. I've seen so many projects being pumped 100+ % in a matter of days only to be dumped again. So I'm a bit sceptic with this. It wouldn't surprise me if Ripple goes down just as fast as it has gone up. The whole point of crypto is to decentralize, and Ripple does exactly the opposed. As much as the projects sounds prmising and banks backing it, I don't think Ripple will change the world of banking forever. I will be betting on other projects to do that.

Re: which one is better to buy altcoins or bitcoin
by
bramgg.crypto
on 21/09/2018, 09:41:34 UTC
I think Altcoins have a better probability to nets bigger profits in the long run, if you just choose the right projects. Bitcoin and Ethereum will not, imho, have the x10 or x50 chances any time soon. But smaller projects which are promising have a lot more room to grow as exponentially, you just have to do some research and find the gems.

My worst investment is to decide to buy in extra when Tron TRX was at it ath. I have a history of buying into ath of various crypto's, so I don't seem to be very lucky in my timing. Here's to hoping the bulls will return in Q4 2018/Q1-2 2019.

Re: How long Crypto currency will survive?
by
bramgg.crypto
on 29/08/2018, 07:16:52 UTC
I'm confident crypto cannot die. This is just too much innovation combined with the blockchain tech that will surely change the world as we know it. However, with all the shitcoin projects around, it is bound to happen that 95% of these projects will die. But the strongest projects will survive and one day, be used by the masses. Better jump on the bandwagon now and reap the benefits of value gains but more importantly, the knowledge you'll gain now.

Re: WHAT IS RISK IN INVESTING IN CRYPTOCURRENCY
by
bramgg.crypto
on 28/08/2018, 14:31:22 UTC
i invest so much in cryptocurrency there is possible a risk? in investing in cryptocurrency, what is the main risk you encounter in investing in crypto
i hope an anyone give me an example a risk in investing in cryptocurrency,

Ok, so you've invested "so much" into crypto, without doing even the smallest bit of research into it? I hope this is a joke, otherwise I would advise you to take out your investment and leave crypto alone. Sorry if it sounds a bit harsh, but my other advise would be to really delve into the projects you are investing in and know what you are putting your money into, this way you can only blaim yourself if you lose it all. And you should be willing to lose every dime you put into crypto otherwise it could be a bitter experience when the markets go bearish and you can't pay your dues.

on 28/08/2018, 14:26:24 UTC
Yeah I use MEW combined with MetaMask for loggin into my wallet. Even though the developers 'seem' te have abondoned ship, I will still be using this wwallet interface until the next and better wallet is thoroughly tested and bugs have been squashed. Could take some months but I don't have any reason to abandon MEW right at this moment imo.

Re: ETH, road down to $50?
by

on 27/08/2018, 08:03:10 UTC
I think a lot needs to happen before ETH will fall to that price point. It is still one of the strongest crypto projcts out there and it will be for somee time. However, some other promising projects are starting to emerge and it is not unthinkable they will one day pass ETH in terms of user base, useability and market cap. But I think that day is still a long way to go.

Re: I lost half of my crypto amount! what to do?
by
bramgg.crypto
on 22/08/2018, 08:35:56 UTC
Just hold on tight! I know it is frustrating the way the market has been for the last number of months. However, if you give in now, you accept your losses and your investment will be gone forever. Crypto hasn't been very prosperous in recent months but the potential for the future is enormous. It could just as easily happen to be the best investment you will do in your life, but it takes time and iron hands. Patience is a virtue, and I'm confident it will pay off in the future since you are still one of the pioneers. Crypto will surely find is way to the masses and when it does, you'll be glad to have jumped on this ship at the time you did.

Re: Cardano the new NEO?
by
bramgg.crypto
on 20/08/2018, 09:32:39 UTC
I think Cardano has a lot of potential to grow substantially in the years to come. However, this is not a project that will make you rich overnight. And it is better this way. It is good that a project will steadily grow instead of an exponential volatile growth, only to be dumped afterwards. But my intention is to HODL Cardano for the long term. So yes, I think it can become the next NEO (and then some).

Re: People say altcoins won't survive
by
bramgg.crypto
on 18/08/2018, 09:11:12 UTC
I also think more than 90% will die, although, given the fact there are over 2000 altcoins from which a vast number are shitcoins this is only logical since there is no use for shit projects in this space. However, there are still some many good projects that can fundamentally solve real world issues, altcoins will never die off altogether. Just find the right ones and hodl. Being patient with your investments and keeping strong hands is the way to go and will make some substantial profits in the long run.

Great initiative for gaining more exposure and awareness for crypto and altcoins in general. I haven't had the luck to jump on the ship in the right time but I'm confident that the crypto market will return to it's glory, though it could take some time to get there.

Re: What Do You Look for in a New Project?
by
bramgg.crypto

It is a combination of more than one factor. i always check the problem a project tries to solve, the activity of the dev team, size and dedication of the community behind it and overall presence on social media.

Just look at the historical charts. This bear market (although this year it has been a bad one) have been going around year after year. I'm confident the market will go up again in some time, perhaps end of this year. Crypto is a game of patience and learning a lot along the way. The days of getting rich over night with crypto are gone but if you play it smart and take the time for it, it is still possible to get good gains on your investments.

I use SimplEOS wallet. I haven't done very much with it yet, but it seems to me a good wallet. I don't think it costs much (don't know for sure but I think it doesn't cost anything) and I was surprised that I already received a bunch of airdrops with it. Try it, you might like it a lot.

Re: KYC and Airdrop Token
by
bramgg.crypto
on 01/08/2018, 09:00:08 UTC
I think KYC is something you need to think about and investigate for which projects you are sharing your personal information. Don't just randomly sent your (very) personal information to whatever projects asks for it, be cautious with this. You never know what might happen to your info or how it is stored and whether or not it is done in a secure way.
