To think, you beat all those other coins to the punch, after those coins were released! I wish I knew how to be the first at something so long after other people had done it.

How did you come up with the 9,000,000 total coins figure? Should be under a million based on the schedule in the OP.

MAST looks better and better today...lots of hype coins are failing due to sloppy coding, forks, and other stupid issues. Purecoin launch seems like a disaster, for instance, after soooo much hype. MAST just keeps trucking.

There is solid evidence whatsoever, let alone proof, of vote rigging. r0ach, I'm sorry the logo you like didn't win. Get over it. I'm not going to invalidate the results because someone claimed 'they came in too quick.' Now THAT would be a bad business decision.

Votes for round 1 will be collected for roughly 48 hours, with the official end of voting for this round at 10:00 GMT on 12 May, 2014. Hi guys just an update on the logo contest! After meeting, the Shibe Council has decided that the voting will take place on Bitcointalk instead of IRC! We feel this gives the broadest cross section of our community a chance to participate, and we'll be able to run the vote over a longer time period so everyone's voice will be heard.

After the deadline I'll tabulate all the entries and post them in a new, voting thread on Bitcointalk. The thread will remain open for 48 hours and at the end, the top 2 choices will be pitted against each other in a final run-off vote to determine the contest winner and the new logo of Shibecoin!

I'm just gonna say a little bit in response to the constant argument being spread in the thread - ShibeCoin has been analyzed through and through, to a higher degree of scrutiny than just about any new coin in recent memory. I think this is a great thing - the bar has been set awfully low by poor quality developers in the past. This is why ShibeCoin's developers are happy to have been subjected to the scrutiny, and this is why the coin has been shown to be 100% legit after countless analyses and investigations. But it's time to move on. The coin is moving into its Proof-of-Stake phase soon, and ShibeCoin will show the naysayers beyond any doubt that happens when talented developers and a talented community come together to work toward something great.

With regards to any confusion, we are accepting ALL entries for the logo contest, and they will all be held to a vote.

The official deadline is 23:59 GMT. We had listed a tentative deadline off 11:59, but we want to give our potential designers enough time to polish up any final entires. We'll be announcing the details of the IRC vote soon.
