Re: Instawallet claim process

The epic saga is over. Finally got my BTC back. All of them. I needed to confirm them by visiting the secret URL again and missed the first wave of payments. Should the page be more specific about this?

I am so confused. Did we have to go back to our wallet url and "confirm" our claim again after making our initial claim? I have visited my wallet url multiple times since making my initial claim, and never saw anything to "confirm" my claim, or identity. My wallet still has status listed as MULTI_CLAIM and says "Flagged for Review due to multiple/conflicting claims This wallet has been flagged for review or further identification is needed before releasing a payout."

I have a wallet that has mutliple claims because I accidentally claimed it twice.  Who do I need to contact for this?  Thanks!

If you put the same address in both claims, you should have been paid by now. I can infer from your message that you accidentally put two different addresses.
We would like to make sure which one we are supposed to use for your payout. Please contact arsy or myself with your claim numbers and amount.
Even though both claims are actually mine b/c I accidentally double submitted.

I can see the above user had an identical problem. Are these types of claims just going to be last on the list, or is it because I have a smaller amount of btc? @brickhouse434 did you finally get paid? I don't have a problem with waiting, I just want to make sure I am not "missing" something on my part I need to do to get my payout.

Not yet but I just got a private message from user "arsy" who seems to be the one processing the multiple claims wallets.  He says there will be another payout this Friday.  Try sending him a PM!

My largest wallet was in the 30 - 40 BTC range.  Nothing really big like I know some people have.

Just to let people know, I have received payouts on my largest wallets so everything seems to be working out OK.  I think you'll get your bitcoin eventually if you were approved for a payout.

@davout and Boussac

I have a wallet that says "Flagged for Review due to multiple/conflicting claims" but both claims are mine, I got confused and claimed it twice.  Who do I contact to cancel one claim and get the payout approved for the other claim?   Do you have an email account where I can message you from both emails or something?

Indeed, and the bitcoin price is having a little rally in expectation. Smiley

I hope people don't dump their coins on the exchanges all at once and sink the price back to $65!  But as long as I get my coins back, I'll be happy even if the price tanks.

Guys, please let us know as soon as anybody gets a payout from Instawallet.  I submitted my claim soon after the process started so I should be one of the first to get paid back.  I'll post here as soon as I see the BTC in my account.

The payout date is approaching!  In less than half an hour, it will be July 11 in France.

11th July is in 10 days time.  Smiley

OK I think I understand now.  July 1 must have been a typo and they really intended to change it from July 5 to July 11.

Actually, nothing was changed, announcing July 1st was simply a mistake on our side.
To be honest, I would have rather it be today than July 11th, want to get it over with so we can all get back to more interesting stuff, among which rebuilding Instawallet.

Thank you for the update!  I'm looking forward to seeing Instawallet re-built!

In support of Davout he has indeed been in touch and as much as we would all like to get our money the claims process was supposed to be 90 days.

It did mistakenly say July 1st on various posts and messages but imagine if you are someone who had a legitimate claim and only found out about it for whatever reason on July 4th. You would be pretty pissed off if your money had been used up going somewhere else and you were still technically inside the 90 days.

All I can say is from my chat with him today I feel 100x better than i did yesterday. What's another 10 days when yo've waited 90?  Tongue

You were told it's going to be another 10 days?

Re: AurumXchange Scam

I went ahead and filed a claim against AurumXchange with the VFS network.   Maybe other people can learn from my mistakes.  My money is gone but you still have yours.  Don't give it to AurumXchange.  Maybe the website will work for you but if it doesn't, your money is gone forever.  I used it a couple times before this but it was not working right as of yesterday and no attempt has been made to fix it so you could lose your money.

AurumXchange General Manager Roberto Gutierrez idea of customer support is to make lots of false claims and accusations about the customer so that the customer has to prove every single lie made by AurumXchange is really false.  I thought that if I proved all of Robertos lies and accusation were false that he would admit he was wrong and do the right thing.   But after I proved all of his lies about me were false, he just kept calling me a liar and a thief and a scammer.

If you search this forum and see how Roberto treats the Paxum reps that is exactly how he treats people whose money he stole when they ask for it back.   I have spent the last 2 days trying to prove all his unfounded accusations false.  I would never even have bothered if I knew what I know now.

It doesn't help to try to prove Roberto's lies false.  Roberto knows his claims are false.  He makes those false claims because it benefits him to do so.  This is how he can get away with never paying the money he owes and never admitting that the accusations were false.

Aurumxchange are not responding anymore.   If I'm the liar like Roberto says then why is he the one who is hiding??

I'm sick of all this bitcoin scamming!  I still expect to get my bitcoins back from Instawallet but I try to keep a positive outlook.   It's not much but at least somebody is admitting that they received our bitcoins and claims that they will eventually be returned.  Many supposedly reputable businesses will just steal your money and lie to your face and even call you a liar and claim you are trying to steal from them.

I'm going to try LocalBitcoins.  Don't use Aurumxchange whatever you do.  They stole almost $1000 from me this morning and now they won't respond to my messages.  They keep marking my support tickets as "resolved" but it's not resolved because I'm out $1000 that Roberto says never existed.   He's not even responding anymore I'm afraid my money is gone...

The recorded bitcoin payments I made within the 10 minute time limit add up to the full amount of the order but the website said that I still owed .00000000000000017 btc.  It was a problem with the website but at first Roberto said I didn't pay in full and now that I have showed him proof that I paid in full Roberto says that the order I placed was for a totally different amount at a totally different rate.  He says that I made up the original order and he doesn't know what I'm talking about.  He's lying because I still have the details saved to my hard drive.

Must be some "fraction" scam like in Office Space. $0.00000000000000136 here and there, over the course of.... uh... five centuries, is bound to yield something significant.

What happened was the btc was in 2 different wallets.  So I sent it out in 2 parts but they truncated the last digit so it said to send .01 more btc.  So I sent .01 more btc and it still said I had to sent another 0.0000000000000017 btc even though I had already sent the full amount.  The records show that I paid the full amount so it was a software problem.  Roberto says I made it all up but I have the records saved to my hard drive.

AurumXchange Scam

I tried to sell some btc to AurumXchange and after I paid, they changed my order to a lower rate.  The records prove that I paid the full amount within 10 minutes but the site was asking me to pay an extra .000000000000000017 btc.  Something is obviously wrong with their software but Roberto Gutierrez is lying about it to cheat me rather than being honest and trying to fix the problem.

there are all kinds of laws and regulations this outfit did NOT follow (which, it seems, was why it was registered in london and banking in poland).

AML / KYC / BAFIN, much?
yup, it was easy to use because of this but unsafe. I'm guessing this is the problem: he has been operating a financial business without complying with all of the legal requirements.

He should change the location to sealand!

I just want my money back.  I don't care about the police report.  As long as I get my money back, he can call himself anything he wants and file whatever report he wants or not.
