in 2017 it was an outside hack and lack of properly IT security.  On that occasion Nicehash took responsibility and did not overreact.  In 2020, they downloaded miner from an unreliable source and then panicked and started slandering and spreading FUD.  He compared the two occasions as justification for their recent over reaction.  That casually equivalency by people is why NH will get away with this recent shit.

*allegedly* an outside "hack".

When you download the latest update through the web monitor, where is the download going?  I do not see the update in the current t-rex folder, nor in my download folder.  I am not sure where else to look.  Yes, I can update manually, but I am curious on how to make this route work.
**Edit: Disregard.  I am blind am completely overlooked the UPDATE folder  Grin oops!  Second question still stands.

Also, is there a way to monitor multiple rigs on one tab, or do you have to have a dedicated tab for each rig?

@enemy is there away to build in a sometype of "watchdog" argument into a command line. My x16s and r on z-enemy crashes sometimes due to overclocking, I want to make sure I can specify the miner to auto-restart when problem is encountered and not to wait until I wake in the morning Smiley
Can you please help with that?

I came to this thread with this exact question.  I skimmed through all of the pages but did not see a response.  My apologies if I missed it.

Is there any sort of watchdog possible?  Or a command for the batch file that would work?

I found something posted for the older ccminer.  Would this be functional for the latest z-enemy?

:loop
z-enemy -a x16r -o stratumblah:blah -u blah.blah -p x -i 23 -N 800
goto loop

There were some comments about international shipping that I didn't see get answered.  Basically stating that paying the VAT was shady.  This is perfectly acceptable albeit not typical.  It is called DDP or deliver duties paid.  This puts the responsibility of the duty calculation and charges on the shipper which is why many companies do not send this way.  If they miscalculate, they will get a bill for the difference.

The method more often used would be DAP (delivered at place, and formerly known as DDU or deliver duties unpaid).  This is what many people are used to and it puts the responsibility to pay duties on the buyer only.

Sending DDP is not an indication of anything shady.

These are just two of the more common terms for small parcels and LTL freight.  There are many terms outlined. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incoterms
