Re: Help! Before I Sink Completely ($1, $2 Will Go a Long Way 🙏)

I don't even want to read all of his post.

Damn it, I'm fed up with beggars on this forum. Instead of looking for a job to change, they just stay here and lament what happened in their lives. In this era, God cannot save you, recruiters cannot accept a bum. If you want money, go out there and work.

That's the problem. You did not read my story but were quick to jump in and play more righteous than thou.

1. I sold the last thing I had, a Mercedes Benz, and moved to the UAE with the hope of finding something doing to restart my life.

2. After two years of trying, I couldn't even feed, let alone providing for my family. Now, I'm stranded in this country.

3. I don't think I'm unfamiliar with the value of hard work because that's what I've been doing all my life, including the past two years.

4. As at 2017 I was contributing to different charities including yearly donation to Wikipedia. That was besides being an editor and contributing 100s of man hours at Wikipedia to support free knowledge.

If I have the slightest means out or resemblance of it, I won't be here. I'm a solitude person by nature and don't really have network of people. Something that will change after this.

Whatever thing you say, remember you're beating already fallen man.

I'm really starting to sympathize with you. You've convinced me to help you.

Here you go, I hope you make good use of this opportunity and that it will help you stand back on your feet:

Hello Dean i am not part of any other dice i am just a regular player of dice site so my intention does not to troll about PRC, i like every provably fair because that was just a question and thanks to clarify the situation about these high amount of bets and i appreciate it and making the statement about to clear the doubt regarding this, sorry if you get me in wrong side and i hope you will understand my situation for this,

What exactly are you asking? If he lost 800+ of his own bitcoins to investors in a crazy publicity stunt?

Lmao, what are you guys talking about Tongue

The site profit has never been higher, it would be really literally dean giving away $150k to his investors. (How is that scamming the investors?) I cannot see how people think this is logical. Or just for some stats, really? xD

But yeh, you can just watch the cold wallet address and see where the big deposits coming from Smiley For example I am fairly sure this is the depo addy of god/lovehina https://blockchain.info/address/15CCgURM6FSs98ThtzU2DjvnTc2JCWoKzT as it is connected to some earlier withdrawals of "defeated" account (and seems to be correct based on the bets/loss he has.) If I am correct we can probably see that 528 BTC going to the public cold wallet later today.

They seem like trolls or maybe they're just trying to boost their post count by having seemingly legit posts.

Are you some kind of a crazy person? Smiley
I'm glad you asked.

Random.org is a True Random Number Generator that I use under certain conditions as a Hi/Low decider to ensure that I don't have any cyclical betting patterns that may turn into a weakness under exposure to a large number of rolls.

I actually SHA-256 hash my seeds and truncate a part of it to fit into the PD3 client seed. Like I said in another thread: OCD about entropy.

Notice the Excel sheet, I keep record of the periodicity of 7+ streak failures to investigate my strategy with a series of value derivations versus the mathematical expectations. The mathematical expected odds of running into a 7+ streak failure given 49.5% odds is about 1 in 119, my strategy in practice after 20,000 rolls is about 1 in 220 currently.

I have a similar 20,000 roll record of PD2 that also reflected this trend (at 1 in 238, exactly 2x). One day when I have met my set BTC quota, I may just share the details my findings with the world...

So that's a "yes"?  Tongue

I recently turned 0.018 BTC into 1.444 BTC on prcdice using a stupid bunch of 49.5% and 45% martingales and a bunch of 90% all-ins. That's an increase of over 80 times. Then I turned it into 0 BTC using the same strategy.

I'm willing to share my findings with the world: It's just the way she goes; sometimes she goes, sometimes she doesn't go.
The same craziness that launched us into space and then invent magical internet money, oh yes... that kind of crazy  Wink

I actually have a powerpoint spelling out all the ifs and thens of my betting procedure that I share with real-life friends.

With data recording the outcome of my betting procedure, I'm prodding at the low-tiered losing streaks and seeing how frequently they show up versus the mathematical expectation. Let's say that in 100,000 rolls, I'm supposed to find 800-900 7+ streak failures, and in my experiment, I only find 400-500.

If the number holds up to the current trends, that is a significant advantage because that smaller failure platform means fewer numbers of higher-tiered failures can be supported on top of that, and from there, I can recalculate my wager based on observed risks.

Now once I've collected enough data, I should be able to use something like the Student's t-test to determine how significantly different it is from the normal distribution of a null control dataset. It will be published free of charge after I have retired from this gambling thingy.

It's data-driven, and it'll be awesome...  Smiley

You are an idiot. Go take some Coursera intro to stats course and stop spewing bullshit mixed with math 'buzzwords'.

Ok, can I just send the BTC to your BTC address and you confirm the funds + tell me when someone took the opposite side?

OK...  I will PM you a fresh BTC address.

Anyone who wants to bet against TwinWinNerD needs to PM me.

I was first to accept in this thread. I have PMed smaragda. I should be on other side of bet. Leaving home to make an errand does not preclude someone else taking my place.

Desaster in the making. 5000 BTC investing in under 24hours and 43 days to go. The 50000 BTC are likely to be broken in the timeframe and even 75k-100k seems possible. You guys know that devs then get 7500-15000 BTC in ethereum + the BTC itself. Also a yearly inflation that is enourmous at 50000 BTC raised....

So many people will get burned, it is really sad Sad

Well your math is off, but your point is still valid.

First of all, anyone who knows anything about fundraising knows that you can have well over 50% come in the first wave of fundraising. I'd say this IPO might get to 10k-12k BTC, but no way it is going to 50k or 100k.

However, there is going to be a glut of Ethereum on the market. It has the potential to be coin with a $10 million dollar cap day one with a 26% inflation. Wow. Then you have a community that has already all invested. Who are the buyers at launch?  This will set a precedent for IPOs in the future. It does have the potential of being an investment bloodbath.

It's no math but my own assumptions and my expectations. I am pretty sure we will pass 25-30k BTC mark and am even willing to bet on it for a smallish sum.

I will bet any amount your choose on that it doesn't exceed 25k. You name the amount and escrow and I am down.

Haha, now I should bet >25000 BTC and just invest on my own too Wink

I will try to find someone, I only want to bet 0.2 BTC or something like that, as I don't really care much about it! Will contact you if I succeed at finding someone!

i am also willing to take the other side of this bet with you (or anyone) for any amount up to 10btc

The coinprism site isnt very helpful.

Thanks!

Re: New research proves: MtGox bitcoins NOT stolen using transaction malleability
by
broolstoryco
on 27/03/2014, 09:45:39 UTC

Quote from: Conclusion
we merely observed a total of 302,000 bitcoins ever being
involved in malleability attacks. Of these, only 1,811 bitcoins were in
attacks before MtGox stopped users from withdrawing bitcoins.

My question is, if only 1,811 bitcoins were attacks on Mt Gox, where are the 300,189 others stolen from?

no one said they were stolen from anywhere.
