Getting some funky currency display problems. Seems to want to only show cny for most btc markets. Finex for example will show usd when first loaded, but upon refresh will turn into cny.

You've turned on the currency conversion feature. Change it back to "actual". It's in the settings.

Ah! Thanks.

Another couple of things:

Stochastic RSI would be great... as well as persistent alarms that do not get deleted when you refresh, change timeframes, or log off.

Very good work though. The alarms are the only thing really holding me back from using it exclusively. I switch between timeframes a lot and will inevitably delete my alarms over and over.

Another detail worth noting is that the alarms only persist for the tab you created them in - so once you close the tab they are gone for good. However, you can refresh and change time periods as much as you want in the same tab and they persist. That seemed like the most natural behavior.

OK that actually sounds perfect.

Thanks for the reply.

Again great work.

how do i delete the lines, arrows and other circles i've drawn?

Right-click anywhere to delete them newest-to-oldest. You can also right-click on the lines' points to delete them in any order.

Hey I use a MacBook Air and cannot seem to perform "right-click". I have unsuccessfully tried option click, control click, and also set up the trackpad prefs for 2 finger secondary click with no luck. So I have a chart full of lines that I cannot delete. Please help!

The site is absoutely killer otherwise!

Update: I still can't seem to get control-click or option-click to delete the lines, but I was finally able to "right-click" by setting 2 finger secondary click on the trackpad (equivalent of control-click), and clicking very firmly directly in the center of the trackpad. Whew.

I am wondering if Mac users who have a standard mac mouse would have control click functionality on the site. If not, they are going to be stuck with lines.

Hello all.

My friend (who is not on BCT) has a serious wallet problem.

He downloaded the original wallet, created a new deposit address, then entered the crowdsale with it.

I guess at some point he closed the wallet, and has now opened it again to do the update and get his coins. However, the deposit address he created is MISSING.

Please someone tell me there is a way for him to still get his coins!

Thanks.

He says the original address in the wallet remains, just the one he created is gone. He has a copy of the created address, and I assume it is on the ledger.

So bummed for him. Any solutions? Architect?

If the original address is there, try creating another address and see if it appears - it's my understanding the private key has 100 or so addresses already associated with it ready for change etc...

Dump private key

Huh

Howdy folks. I wish to get onboard, but I am concerned about receiving my coins. Most wallets don't work with my computer, so I would like to just transfer my coins to a Moolah account wallet, as I have read is possible. How easy and quick is this going to be with the kepair or the wallet.dat file? Any insight would be great as I have never transacted in this manner before, and would like a stress free Syscoin puchase.

@ipominer or other members,
Can you please share compiled sgminer for linux.
I have tried many times but it doesn't compile on my ubuntu machine.
Plz note I can successfully run cgminer or vertminer on my ubuntu box but cant compile sgminer.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I think sph-sgminer would even be better...  I am running Xubuntu 12.10.

I am sort of in the same boat. I installed a built cgminer just great... I am just not that good with Linux....

who in their mind mines LTC anyway - it pays like crap - the coins I mine pay double what litecoin does.

you get out in $$$ what you put in .. in research and hashing power - research is more important than hashing power when it comes to profitability

Why don't you start a small pool then... and let us join  Grin

Lol...  i have been GPU mining scrypt since October and have yet to actually mine a Litecoin! Like JJJ, I have done pretty well finding profitable alts...  it's a job though.

The problem with starting a pool or even an info service or something...  is your profits will be destroyed by your own wake when too many other miners follow your lead...  it always seems like a game of cat and mouse, no? That being said, I feel Ipominer has the right idea, although I don't always agree with their picks.

Also whoever posted that spreadsheet...  man, THANK YOU! I still think Hashra real advantages...  The main one being that they are definitely in production and it seems likely you will get your miner when they say...  that is worth A LOT. Anyone who can get theirs soonish will have a solid short term windfall that could theorhetically compensate for the higher purchase price. I'm trying to iron out a solid purchase strategy for ASICS as we speak... and this is one of the key issues...  price vs delivery.

Right now I am leaning towards phasing in, and getting a Blade or two immediately and placing an order for a Lander or something like that for a delivery a couple of months from now.

Definitely looking to grab a Lunar Lander...  (not for LTC btw...) Cheers to Hashra...  they seem legit as hell.

Does anyone know the best way to remote control using Controla firmware?

I want to be able to access Pi and miner from anywhere under OSX. I currently use ssh on an old laptop accessed by Teamviewer to control GPU rigs running cgminer, and would like something that works easily like this.

a little roundabout method - I use port forwarding on my router at home (I have a static ip from my service provider) and forward certain ports to ips/oports on my network at home and use cgwatcher (on my office computer) to monitor my three rigs. I have gpus in all three rigs, 3 blades on one rig and 20 gridseeds on another rig.

just an idea - I'm sure there are better ones.

Thanks. I just have zero network experience outside of setting up ssh to interact with my ubuntu rigs...   totally clueless. ASICs will be a new battle for me!

Remote control of HASHRA CONTROLA software on Pi
by

on 07/05/2014, 21:10:57 UTC
Hello all. Hoping there are some folks with experience with this. I contacted Hahra support and they confirmed it is likely possible, but I am wondering about the nuts and bolts and have very little networking experience.

I currently remote control several GPU rigs using ssh connections on an older mac laptop. I can control CGminer from anywhere by logging into that laptop via Teamviewer and accessing the terminal. I can also reboot everything from afar and subsequently reconnect to the rebooted mac laptop with Teamviewer.

I desire something similar with a Raspberry Pi running Hahra Controla.

So far it looks like Remoter for OSX (or VNC with Windows) can be used to remote control a Pi, which sounds good, but I am concerned with 2 things:

1- Does Controla run with the Raspberry OS or is it its own OS running on the Pi? Remoter would need to have Raspberry OS installed, no? Basic question, I know, sorry. Zero experience, and haven't found too much info online.

2- I hear that Remoter and probably VNC would not enable you to remote control after a remote reboot of the Pi, as the connection would close. Would I be able to re-establish Remoter control once again via ssh or other means somehow? I know Controla will reboot the miners occasionally, but that shouldn't affect this, should it?

Or is there another way? It looks like Hashra just released the ssh password for Controla, so that seems encouraging. I really like the front end of Controla, but if ssh provided an easy way to switch pools, restart miner, etc, I would use that with no complaints.

In the end I just want headless remote control under osx from anywhere of a Pi or Pis running Controla. Sounds basic I know, but have had trouble getting the right info.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

Howdy. Trying to update my old wallet. Downloaded this new one and replaced the old one (backed up wallet.dat and everything else).

It doesn't sync or do anything... but hey it launches... which is more than I can say for most osx wallets in 10.7.4.

I don't know where to place the new blockchain or the new nodes in osx. I cannot find a conf file..  looking in package contents of the app itself and in application support.

If some kind soul could walk me through getting this new wallet synced I would be very grateful...  and will even give you a tip (provided the coins that were autopaid to the old wallet by mistake show up).

Its only on Chinese exchange at minute too (atleast i think bter is chinese?) What happens when it moves to a more widely used exchange like cryptsy or mintpal.

It gets dumped on a massive scale by the miners, who panic sell into lowball buy walls. Then the coin loses a ton of value, but if you're lucky it gets pumped and dumped...  maybe more than once. Then it dies usually.

It's a shame because the miners truly dictate the price in this scenario, but generally have weak hands, enabling this to play out time and time again.

Hey guys, all the pool stats disappeared and so did the coins I had. Please advise.Thanks.
are you still missing coins?

Yep. there are no transactions listed for me anymore either, so I am not sure how many coins there were exactly. It wasn't a crapload so I am not too upset.

Also, I did a manual payout from Bitember pool a few hours ago and it has yet to get any confirmations on the network. I am pretty sure these are coins from before the fork.

There are definitely some problems with this coin today. I hope they can get resolved.
