Bumping the thread again.  I've been getting a bunch more crypto currency customers lately.  There was a big pushback with crypto in the IPTV world for the past few years but it seems like people are starting to convert.  The more the merrier. 

I am bumping this thread.  I can answer questions if anybody has any.  If you're an iptv n00b don't be afraid to ask any questions, I'm willing to help out. 

We started reselling a new provider that doesn't want us to mention them on forums/reddit/etc.  But the other two are Crystal Clear and Beast IPTV.

Beast has more UHD channels.

Crystal is newer and they are constantly adding more resources.  Their EPG is better.

A few weeks ago the #1 IPTV provider in the US area went down.  Not sure if it was legal issues, arrests or exit scam even now.  But that pushed a lot of new users and Beast IPTV was one that took in a lot of the new users.  They had some buffering for a few weeks but they also added more bw and that seems to be resolved.

I just checked the two channels you're talking about.

US: NBC 4 (New York) | HD is actually WLWT 5 Cincinnati

US: NBC (NY) | UHD (epg says News 4 New York at 5 PM) this is broadcasting NBC WGRZ 2 - Buffalo


I have reported both of these to beastIPTV and i'll let you know when they reply.

Some people like two providers so they have backup streams.  But most of our clients are more interested in sports or cable TV channels and less focused on local content.  We are about to start up a special where you can get a month of both Beast and Crystal for $20 or if you want Beast + Crystal Premium it'll be $25.

To answer your question yes there is a second place where you put another URL for the EPG to populate.  I provided an EPG link and in GSE there's a section there you put in the link.  I don't use apple products but here is a screenshot i found.

I have had the admins fix channels when I request them.  I'm not sure if they have a bot or service that scans the EPG to check if they are up or down but that would be nice.

The providers buy packages of streams from sellers.  The beast and crystal local channels are purchased from different resellers so they won't be the same.  But to be honest the local channels are hit and miss kinda like you've seen.  If you'd like a brute trial shoot me an email and I'll get you one but I'll have to disconnect it before Sat morning.

bolinao - Thanks for trying it out.  The local channels do have the most complaints.  I can make requests to Crystal admins or Beast admins and report channels that are not working.  I like to wake up and listen to the local news in the mornings and sometimes an antenna just works out better for that.

This is the Crystal Premium package channel listing.  The groups that start with UK and some of the other international groups like brazil german filipino caribbean arab french polish, etc are only available in the Crystal Premium package.  The Crystal regular package consists of US/Canada channels, PPV, Sports, etc.

It isn't FTA it's digital local channels.  Each provider (beast / crystal) have their own channel listing and both are thorough.  But to be honest as far as channel quality and buffering I would say the local channels have the  most complaints.  The PPV and sports packages have multiple streams for backup but only 1 stream for local.

I would like to post a "for sale" thread that will list some IPTV hosting services I can provide.  I have a website and it's setup with bitcoin as a payment processor and was looking to get on some "places to shop with bitcoin" lists to help get some more attention.

I didn't see any rules on posting and I know digital goods for bitcoin can be a cesspool at times so I was hoping for some pointers on best practices.  The buyer pays first then we deliver and we offer trials that start at $1 or $2 so risk is low.  We have a good reputation on reddit too.  Thanks
