We are a hardware company with a hardware product.  You simply connect Honeypod to your internet connection via ethernet and that is it! . Honeypod auto configures itself and is intended to be plug&play.  There is no downloads, browser updates, installation...etc.  The difference between hardware and software is that Honeypod is able to protect your entire home and ALL internet connected devices instantly, while with software you have to download it onto a computer and keep it updated.  However, Honeypod also works with IoT devices, televisions (commercials), and all internet connected devices not just your browser.  You would be surprised at how much personal data your computer software programs send back to companies and third parties, as well as all of the information that IoT devices are capturing about you and sending back....it's pretty scary..

Our purpose of using cryptocurrency within the product is for the transfer of funds, either to the user or the user purchasing online (online shopping/payment).  When we are distributing compensation to 10's of thousands of users in micro-payments on a daily basis it's difficult and expensive to use all current methods of payment transfer (bank wire, check, paypal, etc..).  Stellar was chosen due to it's speed, and cost - it is very fast (3-8 seconds), and very cheap (less than $0.001 per transfer).

Thanks for your questions.  "Honeybox" that you mentioned is the same project.  Early on we changed the branding so that our legal team had the ability to begin trademarks worldwide in all major country markets.  Our plan is to ship and distribute Honeypod worldwide and with that setting up appropriate legal preparations is important.  In regards to the above site "coincheckup.com" - that is either 1 of many auto-scrape sites or they have yet to confirm/approve our request to change the branding information.

Honeypod is a completed product and will begin shipping immediately after the public token sale.  We are ready for mass manufacturing but have not started yet.  AS of right now, the enclosures (plastic outer casing) are high-grade prototypes while the internal PCB board, components, and software are fully completed.  Our team has been traveling quite a bit, but we be sure to create an updated video demo within the next couple of days.
