The new beta version is ready. It is mostly a bugfix release, the more significant upgrades are coming next month. You can download PhoenixMiner 6.3b from here:

PhoenixMiner_6.3b_Windows.zip
PhoenixMiner_6.3b_Linux.tar.gz

The new features in this release are:

  • Full LHR disable mode -lhrdis <n>  1 - yes (default), 0 - no

  • RTX 3060 LHR       ~ 50 MH/s
  • RTX 3060 Ti LHR       ~ 60 MH/s
  • RTX 3070 LHR       ~ 60 MH/s
  • RTX 3070 Ti LHR       ~ 81 MH/s
  • RTX 3080 10GB LHR   ~ 98 MH/s
  • RTX 3080 Ti LHR       ~ 120 MH/s

  • Dual mining TON
  • Fixed an issue with expired SSL certificate that led to "certificate verify failed" errors when connecting to some pools (notably Ethermine) when using SSL connections
  • Show the GPU vendor name in the list of GPUs to make it easier to identify the GPUs
  • Added support for the latest AMD Linux drivers 21.40.1. There are some bugs in these drivers, particularly the clocks and voltages can't be set properly with older
    cards (RX4x0/RX5x0/Vega/RadeonVII)
  • Validated support for the latest AMD Windows drivers up to 21.11.2
  • Fixed issues with AMD RX6700XT cards with the latest AMD and Linux drivers
  • Fixed issues with AMD Vega and Radeon VII cards on latest Windows and Linux drivers
  • Fixed crash with very old Nvidia drivers (3xx.x)
  • Other fixes and small improvements

Known issues (driver incompatibilities, etc.) and workarounds:

If you are using Linux drivers 21.40.1 with Radeon VII cards, you need to add the option -fpwm 1 in order to have proper fan control.
AMD Linux drivers 21.40.1 has finally removed the requirement of PCIe atomics but there are problems when you try to mix Polaris (RX4x0/5x0) cards and Vega or newer cards on the same rig.
Some Nvidia cards will report a lot of stale shares under Windows 11. Using the same driver version under Windows 10 resolves the issue.

Hello again, I know you have had it with me and I am very sorry. I have no where else to turn. I have scanned my complete computer and there are no files that match armorylog.txt and armorydb.txt

I have looked in program files/ armory and cant find it there either?

Can I ask you please, if I get the private keys out what can I do? Import to any wallet?
Thanks for any info.

Again so sorry, I ready most of this and I just cant seem to get the program to run.
I used it for many years and Now its been a year or so since I opened it.
I have 0.96.3.99 running but it gets down to 1 % and crashes every time.
I guess the only other thing I can come up with is to try a different computer.
If you have any info that could help me I would be so very much grateful to you.

Also is there a way to move my coins without running Armory?
Thanks again

Thanks so much! I have some questions, but rather then bug you further... I will just create it and transfer .001 bitcoin and see how it all works.

I am assuming that the offline wallet will not ever show its balance, just the watching one on line? But Like I say I will play around with just a few dollars and get first hand experience.

Thanks for all of your time to help with this issue!

OK if I have 100 bit coin delivered via on line. then backup. then open backup on offline wallet. then make new wallet with offline system and copy bitcoins to that offline wallet. then send that watch online to on line wallet.....  I will try.  and copy everything to a CD rather then a usb?Huh
Thanks its much appreciated .....

Hi I have a question about this type of wallet. If I create the wallet off line, and put 100 bitcoins in it. Then on line I remove the keys??? Im not sure how to keep it totally secure??
Do I create the wallet on line, then copy the wallet on the offline system and move the coins to it off line only... then when I go on line computer it will know that the coins are there???

I guess you can see how I am not sure how to stay totally secure... any info or a link would be so helpful... Thanks

I hope someone here has an answer for this.... I sent myself (to my new mycelium app on phone) from the armory wallet .44 BTC
this was yesterday morning, so far no confirmations?? and it says in the info on armory that its not in the blockchain yet?Huh its been more then 24 hours.
The funny thing is that it is in my new app on my phone as an available amount to spend?
Its weird that its not in the blockchain and has 0 confirmations...
I even searched the transaction hash and its not in chain?Huh?
Any ideas?? Thanks

Bryon

Your Armory client is not fully synced. Wait until it is synced fully.

OK dont ask why, (and I was fully synced) I had to rebroadcast the transation manually at blockchain and now its all confirmed and everything is fine......

Go figure...
Thanks all for your help and input!!!

Dafuq , I personally never used an application of Bitcoin on my phone and never used Armory ... however it's weird I'am pretty sure it should give you a link to blockchain.info or something , that's what all wallets do . also I didn't get that second part , you sent the money and it still tells you that you have an amount to spend ? that 0.44 BTC ?

Yes no confirmations the actual blockchain has no record says that it is not found and i do have the amount I sent in my phones app saying that its available to spend??
Afraid it will show up as unconfirmed bitcoin... maybe I need to send some out to see what happens???
Ive never seen this happen before and 0 confirmations???
Oh well thanks

but hey guys what's going on? in the last 20 days p2p lost about 70 out of 250 active users / addesses (although the hashrate scores 1ph more), share diff of the pool is very high for those who do not have a farm, I personally with 3 th / s i have not done a good share in the last 20 hours ... there is no way of remodulating the share diff of p2p so that it is not so difficult for small-scale miners have a decent payout and a little more stable? ok accept the variance I can tolerate, but it seems clear that many users they are leaving the pool

E

All I can tell you is that I am pumping out 4TH and a few months ago I was getting around 100.oo a day give or take a few good days and a few bad days...BUT - now I am lucky to get 10.oo to 12.oo per block and with 2 to 4 per day I am making no money and my electric is way over 1000.00 per month.
I am just about to give up on p2pool and see what happens else where........ Its just not doing it for me these days?Huh
Any thoughts from anyone is welcome .........
I love it here but I am just at a point of killing myself!
I hate to stop but its about that level I think....
Dont want to put another 5000.00 into machines to just break even in 3 months.....

Have you thought about the pencil mod for your S1s? You could still be in the game for a bit longer then sell them in a few more months. Just a thought.
Not really sure what the pencil does??? I did read it a few months ago but not sure I understood.... Any info? Thanks

I think you're going to see the same results on any other pool, although your payments will probably be more consistent on a larger pool, though not much more in value.  This is not a p2pool issue, but the way bitcoin works in general, and which is why so many miners are starting to call it quits.

For example I switched my terraminers back over to BTCGuild a few weeks back because I found they suffered the 20% loss problem just like the S2's (it's about 10 pages back in the thread I think).  The 3.2TH/s over at BTCGuild were making the same amount on average per day than they were pointed at p2pool - roughly .05 - .07 BTC per day depending on luck.  Now, I say on average per day, because BTCGuild is larger and finds more blocks so you get more frequent, even payouts, while p2pool has less blocks but less folks so your payouts are less frequent but more value.

A few months ago those same terraminers were making more than double that per day on BTCGuild.

In the past 3 months we have had to go from the original 3.2TH/s up to our current over 10TH/s to keep our payment amounts at the least even with when we started.

That's the nature of the BTC mining beast.  Difficulty rises, and you need to invest in the same % hash upgrades to your farm to keep your payouts the same.  If you don't, your income trails off and you are in the position now where you're making less and it's costing more to make less.

There's a thread here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=416933.0 - where they did a comparison of 3 pools - p2pool, BTCGuild and Eligius - where they pointed 6 S1's at each pool.  The most important thing to look at is how over time since January you will see the payouts per week dwindle down from 3 BTC per week when it started to less than 0.5 BTC now, 8 months later.  You can see how the same hashrate becomes less and less over time, if it stays the same and is not increased.

I hope this helps to answer your questions.  By all means, please go ahead and try other pools and see what it's like.  I just personally think it's not going to make a very large difference either way.
I totally agree with you and understand what is going on. I was just curious to hear from others. I understand the difficulty levels and the drop in pay.... As we all know, it dosent stop the electric bill and its HUGE.
I love mining and all of it, but I dont want to take my money and invest thousands more and be behind the eight ball for months to catch up like I did with this 5000.00 investment on the 4 T. I am finally ahead of the game and made a few bucks.
I am at that crossroad.... yes I could invest again and start all over...... I dont know its a dilemma that I have to come to grips with. Maybe I will sell off all of my S-1's and just run 1 S-2 at some pool to keep my hands and head in the game............  Thanks for your thoughts as thats all I was looking for!......
Nobody understands this crazy game we play but those of us wrapped up in it!!!
