Would it be possible to host Minera externally since it uses the CPUMiner API (just open the API port and have the external webserver query it)?  I understand some functionality would be list (like start/stop/restart), but we'd have external monitoring that can send emails/alerts when mining operations go down.

If it's all on the Pi, and the Pi goes down, you'll never receive any alerts when that functionality is added Smiley

I've tried the MobileMiner feature, and it seems to work.  What features should be working in MM?  Right now it shows total hashrate, and individual miners.

Since the update today, the Dashboard DB popups errors have gone away, I really like the new hashrate reporting too (side effect is it starts way high and comes down to level off, previous showed much lower hashrate and came up to level off).

Is there any way to get the default devices to be 25+?  Seems like it always defaults back to 5 devices shown on the Dashboard.

Cheers!

FlushALL will delete every settings/stats/etc... I don't recommend it.

If you have DataTables random errors, please clear the cookies browser

I'm still receiving the DataTables error above, even on browser that never access that page before (so there are no stored cookies etc).  Happens in FF, IE, and Chrome:

Code:
DataTables warning: table id=pools-table-details - Requested unknown parameter '5' for row 0. For more information about this error, please see http://datatables.net/tn/4

Please can you paste the content of /var/www/minera/conf/miner_conf.json?

Did you run "sudo ./upgrade_minera.sh"? Please run it and then retry to save settings

miner_conf.json was empty, then I ran the upgrade script and rebooted.  Once I saved the settings it populed it with valid configuration data and Start (and Stop!) are working.  Thank you!

Strange pop-up whenever the Dashboard is refreshed (comes up a few times each refresh):

This happens in Chrome and IE (never viewed Minera in IE before until I tried this test)

I just did a fresh pull of Minera and cpuminer, everything starts fine the first time.

If I goto the settings page, and press save (doesn't matter if I make or change or not), then try to start the miner, it fails every time after that.

I noticed the startup after a fresh install before pressing 'Save' anywhere is:

Code:
/usr/bin/screen -dmS cpuminer /var/www/minera/minera-bin/minerd --gc3355-detect --gc3355-autotune --freq=850 -o stratum+tcp://multi.ghash.io:3333 -u michelem.minera -p x --retries=1

Then after pressing Save it changes to:
Code:
/usr/bin/screen -dmS cpuminer /var/www/minera/minera-bin/minerd -c /var/www/minera/conf/miner_conf.json

Running that line above results in this error:
"/var/www/minera/minera-bin/minerd: /var/www/minera/conf/miner_conf.json:1: '[' or '{' expected near end of file"
I expect this is why "Start" or "Restart" from the Minera web page now fail after Saving any settings.

I also receive this error (mainly on Settings page):

Code:
A PHP Error was encountered

Severity: Notice
Message:  Use of undefined constant JSON_PRETTY_PRINT - assumed 'JSON_PRETTY_PRINT'
Filename: views/settings.php
Line Number: 240

Edit:  Upgrading PHP from 5.3 --> 5.5 fixed the last error.  Pressing "Save" still breaks the start/stop functionality of Minera due to the new JSON config vs the old way of entering everything in the startup line.

I'm having an issue where Stop and Restart only kill the screen process, not the actual minerd process.  So pressing "Start" will spawn a second minerd if pressed after "Stop".  Simiarly, pressing "Restart" keeps spawning another minerd process

Initial "Start":
:: /usr/bin/SCREEN -dmS cpuminer /var/www/minera/minera-bin/minerd --gc3355-detect ........
:: /var/www/minera/minera-bin/minerd --gc3355-detect ..............

After pressing "Stop":
:: /var/www/minera/minera-bin/minerd --gc3355-detect ..............

After pressing "Start" again:
:: /var/www/minera/minera-bin/minerd --gc3355-detect ..............
:: /usr/bin/SCREEN -dmS cpuminer /var/www/minera/minera-bin/minerd --gc3355-detect ........
:: /var/www/minera/minera-bin/minerd --gc3355-detect ..............

Ubuntu installed on a netbook, almost everything else seems to work fine.

Would it be possible to have the "Records per page" be static, and not reset on every refresh?  If you have 11+ miners you'll need to hit the dropdown every time it refresh to see them all.

Will "Buy Back" continue to only apply to those who have hosted miners?  If you took delivery, it won't ever apply?

I didn't see anything mentioned for people who purchased blades to have them delivered.  Does the Buy-Back program only apply to people who have it hosted by GAW?  Is this the way all future buy-backs will be handled (hosted only)?

Can you drop us some updates on the new miners?

ZoomHash just released the "Wolf", "Lion", and "Dragon" with strikingly similar specs and pictures.  Are these just OEM'ed miners with a shiny custom box around them, not 100% GAW specific?  When will you be able to release more details of these (mining software /w source, real-world reviews / hands-on test results, real pictures etc)?

A week after receiving two blades from GAW, Zoomhash now has them for $1100.  Is there price protection there?

Does Buy-Back literally only apply to the old 10-gridseed orders who want to "upgrade" to a Blade?
What specifically does "Price Protection" entail?  Store Credit?  Cash Refund?  How long are they protected for (30 days, 60 days)?  I see this question was asked by many on here, but is there any page that describes the specifics?

With the "Founders Club" you should be covered under the "Price Protection" bullet point.  Maybe GAW can shed some additional information as to what is covered for Buy-Back and Price Protection.

Mining LTC it's $14 /day per blade you'd earn, even if the price drops $200 in 2 weeks, it's break even.  If it drops $300 next week then hopefully GAW's Price Protection will come through for Founders Club members.  To say they offer all these benefits is one thing, but to actually follow-though would be another.

So looks like we will have a damn good week for double our power..   Alt coin pools are rocking this week like they have not rocked in months..

I am mining on WP and would like my double promo based on their stats, not Clever..  How do I request this..  It was mentioned by GAW that we could request this..

Nope, it's based on LTC price...
http://www.gawminers.com/blog/double-your-hash-promotion-starting-april-26/

Just for reference:
http://www.clevermining.com/profits

Blue line == current profits mining altcoins on a multipool, yellow line below it is the LTC direct mining profits.  You can see it's been a very good week to mine altcoins, but hey "free" coins are free coins.  Of course we'd all love it if it was based off AC or WC this week Smiley

I had a similar experience as above (where he missed out because they were overwhelmed and couldn't order)

I was ordering 25x @ the "Founders Club" $85 price, but it kept adding $30 shipping to my cart when I selected the ONLY available shipping method (Ground).  I opened a ticket, and before I was contacted a few hours later it was sold out.  They completely ignored the "Founders Club" portion of the ticket and suggested I order the 25 pack @ $102, which is priced even above the regular member sale price of $99.95 today, let alone the $85.

Oh well, better luck next time...

Has anyone tested various resistors on R52 to get a comparison?  going up to 37k, 42k, 45k etc?  Some stats that would be of interest:
  • Highest pool-side hashrate achieved (stable)
  • Frequency
  • Resistor Value
  • Wattage

Essentially to compare the real hashrate vs wattage and plot the profitability curve.

I installed this last night, and it went smoothly.  It's actively monitoring multiple rigs at multiple locations, it's great that it only uses API...  No additional software required on the mining hosts.  Very cool looking interface, looking forward to more pool management features!

So far I have placed two orders.  One arrived in one day (pretty much overnight), and the other one arrived in 3 days, everything is working, packaged like they should be, and by far the best pricing I have seen door-to-door.

The one snafu was around Paypal late last week, but it was resolved within an hour of me emailing them about it.  Response times have been super fast on both email and phone, and they have stood by any promises to me to correct things.

+1 for positive experiences
