I'm going to have to go back over these instructions-my machine rebooted overnight (with the ATI Blockchain drivers I was getting ~20 & 24Mh out of) and now my local Claymore output says 17/20Mh (for the 390/580, respectively) but Miningpoolhub said 14Mh combined and NiceHash now says 48.82 combined. Is there any way to confirm which is correct? Or should I just presume the Claymore direct stats are what is true?

New RX580 only pulling 24Mh/s while old R9 390 managing 20Mh/s-help?

So I've had an old rig setup for ages which was running a R9 390 on Ubuntu for the past year at about 15Mh/s. I just bought a RX580 and wiped the system, bringing it onto Windows 10 since it's far easier to mine in Windows. Upgrading to the ATI beta drivers meant for mining alone managed to increase my hash rate on the R9 390 to ~20Mh/s, which is awesome! However, my brand new RX580 is only running at 24Mh/s, even when alone. I'm not terribly experienced at mining-I managed to get the old machine setup just fine based on trial and error, but is this out of the realm of reasonability? My machine is old-I think the motherboard is pushing 7-9 years old and the power supply is only 750W, but everything seems stable, I'm just not sure whether this is a reasonable hashrate to get or not? I know many people see they can get up to 30Mh/s with a RX580-is that what I should be expecting as well, or might this be due to a limitation in my setup or the age of my equipment? I'm happy to give whatever other details you anyone might need to isolate this, too-just not sure where to start...

I switched off from auto-exchange a couple weeks ago, but I still have small amounts of DigitalCoin and Uro on the exchange. I guess these are just too small to properly exchange, but is there any way to move them into my wallet or move just enough over from my wallet to clear these out?

What is a '(Shrunk Credit, Bonus Transactions)'? I got one of these for Dash a couple days ago. It was a relatively large amount-was this because of an error historically or is it just an extra bonus for something?

Also, would there be any way to turn auto-exchange on, but prevent some coins from participating? For example, I would like to auto-exchange Uro and Smartcoin, but I would rather not exchange DASH and ETH. Is there a way to enable this?

I don't think x11 needs diff-multiplier settings, as x11 algo didn't have difficulty factor incompatibility issue from the start.
(Only qubit would need that option. Maybe it doesn't need that option at all. You can test it by changing diff-multiplier and see the reject rate from dashboard)

~1% reject is normal. Stale shares (little bit late share) can be rejected, and it can happen to any coin.
The reason why you see ~1% reject only from Dash is because Dash is the most profitable coin lately and pool mostly mine that. Other coins would not have long enough time to be mined.

1. Does diff-multiplier affects whole (X11, Qubit, Quark) algo settings?
2. Is your x11 hashrate reported correctly on pool even you set diff-multiplier? Then Baikal's diff-multiplier option doesn't seem to work with x11.

The diff-multiplier is a single setting which I believe affects all pools (there's no way to set specific pools or algos, so I've no idea, but this is my guess). I know I had the diff-multiplier set a couple days ago, noticed we were mining Dash, and that I was seeing around 20-30% rejected packets, so I shut off the diff multiplier and it fell back to 0-1%, so I thought it was that setting. Now I have it on again, though, and all seems to be working, so I'll keep an eye on things and let you know if there are more issues

Each pool remembers last mined difficulty value and resumes from that value after reconnection.
(Different algo pool works independently, they use their own difficulty level)

If you want to set starting diff, try to set worker password as "d=256"
More info about setting start difficulty is here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=472510.msg10596890#msg10596890

If your issue is about Qubit algo pool, they would have some difficulty mulitplier issue.
I'm not sure about this issue with Baikal miner, but sgminer and ccminer used different factor for difficulty level. So, ccminer needed difficulty multiplier value for 256 or 0.00390625 (1/256) to mine.

Can you clarify what coin you seem to have problem? And what difficulty value was set at website worker page.

It's hard for me to say right now. I can say I have my difficulty setting manually set to 256 in my baikal miner (diff-multiplier 256), but currently we're on Dash in the auto-pool and my worker shows a difficulty of 1.58, and a rejected rate of ~1%. I almost always see 0% with anything except Dash-do you think this is because I've set my difficulty at 256, and, if I remove that 256 diff setting, will other, easier coins have the same issue?

Hi
I don't have baikal miner yet, so have limited knowledge about it.

Is it possible to set same priorities to each algo pool?
I hope it to stop useless pool alive checking when current connection (algo) is alive.

Baikal allows you to set different priorities for each port (algo) in the list of pools. It will automatically switch to a new algo when you take a port offline, so it works fine for now. The only thing it doesn't do, which causes issues within Miningpoolhub is allow someone to set difficulties separately for each pool. Would it be possible on the miningpoolhub end to set difficulties for the baikal mining pool for smaller coins (digibyte, etc) to 256 and to whatever lower setting is better for Dash or other 'harder' coins? I have noticed when I keep the difficulty setting at 256 I get lots of rejected shares, but if I take it off I don't think I'm being as efficient with the smaller coins.

Thanks!

You create 5 different pools with different priorities, but they'll need to be the 5 highest priorities in your list. I have mine setup as 4,5,6,7,8,9 (lets me add something as 1,2,3 if I wanted to). Miningpoolhub will automatically shut down the ports it's not using when it switches between them. For example, if it's auto-switching on x11, the x13, x15, quark and qubit pools will show as 'down' in the baikal because miningpoolhub has shut them off, letting the baikal auto switch to them.

Not sure if this was covered above, but it would be really nice if I could set auto-exchange only to certain coins. There doesn't seem to be any consistency to when I click the arrow in the direction of 'credited' as to whether a coin is simply credited to me or automatically goes to the exchange. I have now shut off the auto-exchange option, but would really like to be able to have only *some* coins auto-exchange. If there was a way to, maybe, exempt some coins from auto-exchange, that would be fine, too. Maybe, for example, only have auto-exchange active if I don't have a wallet withdrawal address entered? But if I do have a wallet withdrawal address entered, always credit my local wallet until my withdraw amounts are reached.

Mysterious extra charge on transaction to shapeshift from blockchain.info?
by

I recently sent some BTC to an altcoin via shapeshift.io from my blockchain.info wallet. Shapeshift gives you a single address to send it to, which I did, in the amount of roughly .152BTC, but of that, only .1486 arrived and .0038 went to another address I didn't see in the initial transaction. There was an additional .00027 BTC mining fee, which I expected, but why did that .0038 get sent to a different address? Is this a blockchain.info fee for sending from their wallet? Is there a way to avoid this second fee? And why does my 'Estimated BTC Transacted' number only show .1486? This is the amount I sent minus this extra destination-I'm just not clear on where that went...

Thanks in advance...
