this is what is showing up in the apache logs

Code:
192.168.2.2 - default [03/Jul/2011:10:03:50 -0400] "POST / HTTP/1.1" 401 364 "-" "phoenix/1.4"
192.168.2.2 - default [03/Jul/2011:10:04:00 -0400] "POST / HTTP/1.1" 401 364 "-" "phoenix/1.4"
192.168.2.2 - default [03/Jul/2011:10:04:10 -0400] "POST / HTTP/1.1" 401 364 "-" "phoenix/1.4"
192.168.2.2 - default [03/Jul/2011:10:04:20 -0400] "POST / HTTP/1.1" 401 364 "-" "phoenix/1.4"
192.168.2.2 - default [03/Jul/2011:10:04:30 -0400] "POST / HTTP/1.1" 401 364 "-" "phoenix/1.4"

And this is the command that i am using to launch the miners

Code:
python phoenix.py -u http://192.168.2.7:8337 -k poclbm DEVICE=2 BFI_INT WORKSIZE=128 AGGRESSION=8 FASTLOOP VECTORS

Can you maybe try to tell me what the problem is or what other info i need to figure the problem out?
Response 401 is "unauthorized."  Your command does not appear to include any authentication information.  You need to add the username and password of one of the proxy's worker accounts.

how would I add the username and password in the string, could you give an example. I plan to donate when i get this running. Please and Thank You!

So when you say "At this point you should be able to point your workers at the proxy and they will start working." in the installation instructions/

What address should I be using?

Can you please whitelist me. I am new to bit coin but in the past week I have put together a rig with 2x6990's, got it up and running mining solo, I ended up moving to the Eligius pool yesterday. After troubleshooting network problems that I traced to a bad cable modem, and fixing the python startup scripts that were supposedly written for the card and miner. I had never written python before, only Ruby and Rails. I won't post idiotic replies, I pretty much stick to business in these forums.

That is great info thank you. It sounds like the bitcoin client and the phoenix miner are integrated. That post doesnt specifically say about wallet configuration.

Am I safe to assume that the phoenix miner , deposits mined coins into the currently configured wallet address in the "Your Bitcoin Address:" field inside the bitcoin client?

Ok, thank you very much.

Where would i configure the wallet if i am mining solo?

also  In the screen shot http://i.imgur.com/gRmP9.png" alt="" title="Hosted by imgur.com" />

If there is no block being processed right now and I am waiting to get one, then why are the GPU's still hashing at full load? What are they doing If i am still waiting for a block?

Ok, thanks a lot. Makes me feel good at least it seems to be working right.

What about how to know which wallet it is mining into? This is a rig that came completely pre-configured. It just boots up and goes.

How would I change which wallet it mines into?

Thank You!

Here is the screen shot, also interesting is that the monitor on the right, only has complete stats for one card even though there are two 6990's.

I've had this miner running for almost 2 days, but the readouts never change. It has 2 AMD 6990's, they are showing almost maximum hashrates, but there are never any results.

I also wanted to know, how the phoenix miner knows which wallet to mine into?

If you could look at the screenshot and tell me if something might be wrong that would help.
