Been burnt by Cloak and learned my lesson, I'm not investing in anything until maybe one day if I see an anon coin which is open source and proven. Until then I'm only day trading small amounts, whatever looks like has good technicals and momentum on any given day.

Watching XST this afternoon it looks like shit! price going down since I started watching it. Meanwhile huge buy wall misleading buyers that it looks strong to jump in. I think I'll pass thanks

agree most traders have that attitude. I came into alt-coin scene more with investor mentality though, meaning I wanted to find something with real potential and stay with it, not trade in and out based on news. Thought for a long time Cloak was it. Its hard desicison to take loss and admit being wrong. Now i don't know what is it, wait continues. I still prefer the anon coin space. I think anonymity is essential in long run. Hate the way all are closed source. Perhaps someone needs to start an open source one.

The thing is the last update only said 'I'm still here'. Its not much to go on. Wheres those dev videos they used to do? That looked very proactive and big reason I started liking the coin.

Failed audit. Missed deadline. Lame excuses. Virtual silence. None of that is inspiring in the slightest, reading between the dots it looks like the devs might be stuck. I've tried to keep faith for a long time but now have sold a fair bit of Cloak. Still waiting for some hope. Alty if you are there, why should I stick with this coin? Give us something to go on

Bob why is it undumpable? whats your reasoning? in what way is stealth coin better? Does it use an alternative to coinjoin ? is it open source. I'd like to hear some real facts instead of this pump n dump to the moon garbage

To be honest without insider information there is no way of knowing if Cloak is genuine or a bunch of script kiddies taking us for a ride.

In short Cloak (and all alt-coins) is very high risk investing. Dont' invest what you can't accept losing.

I've learned from this experience, let greed get best of me to an extent and put in more than I should have. won't be cashing out though. Don't see the point now. I'm going to HODL and hope Alty is real deal.

If Alty doesn't want a PR man thats his call I think we should respect that. He's the main man afterall. After suggesting it yesterday I later had doubts about the idea myself. Imagine one of the sharks gets into that position, abuse of power that could incur. In meantime I suggest people sell if they feel Cloak is finished, buy cheap cloak if you think its just getting started or what I'm doing, just be patient.

I disagree that devs should be worrying about PR and posting daily that would be a very bad idea. Ideas for a PR man to mediate announcements is a great idea.  If devs posted daily you will panic sell and let greed overcome your rational mind which is already happening too much. Good PR is way forward

Maybe this project needs a spokesman between the devs and the customers. When I'm writing software I'm shielded by my manager in a sense which takes away pressure. I know from experience coding under pressure is more difficult. Anyway just chewing the fat. Lighten up people. This project has very noble aims people here should support that. We are crying out for proper anonymity in crypto.  Cloak might be the one.

Many scammers on here are not noble in the slightest, they are sharks looking to scare investors and take their wealth. The manipulation on this thread to try and put down price is for a reason. Probably because they trying to pump some other coin and don't want bitcoin flowwing into here. Don't be scared by these unscrupulous sharks.

By the way, nice poll but theres quite a big difference between last two options end of month and never!!! I think it might be somewhere between those two but don't like to say never.

Why is this thread so polluted with people clammering to say Cloak is finished? Bob your guts tell me a different story! The FUD on here is unreal. If you don't believe in Cloak thats fine I'm ok with that but why can't you then go away and plague some other thread, or maybe join a thread of a coin you believe in and make constructive comments there

The trolling and FUD tells me Cloak is strong.
