Ohhh My Gox. It’s Litecoin around the corner
by

http://www.bitanalyst.com/ohhh-my-gox-its-litecoin-around-the-corner/

...For the past week, as everyone was waiting patiently for the event, Litecoin traded at roughly 0.024 BTC. Trading was slow, dull, with no real appeal and no big deals or collection of Litecoins as one would expect. Continued difficulties and events at Mt.Gox only brought disbelief in Mt.Gox as a leading platform, and its acceptance of Litecoin into its trading.

Yet today, something changed.

It started with a huge order of 100,000 Litecoins! which at the time was equivalent to 2,222 BTC. This represented an order in the magnitude of $250,000 and to put things in perspective – that is equivalent to ~0.6% of all Litecoins currently in circulation (~17 million) ...

Hi !
Look interesting, could be great if we could set 2 limits for each parameter (one for high, one for low).

thanks for your feedback!

more filters were added and sadly bitfloor site alerts were removed.

glad you like the service!

Re: Bitcoin needs to evolve - we need p2p exchanges
by

one of the problems with p2p exchanges is the part where fiat is involved = bank accounts that need to hold the money of the traders. another problem is the complexity of building and testing such systems.
imho the solution will come when the forex guys decide to enter the market. they have all the legal paperwork of handling people money and have proven forex trading systems that can probably be modified easily for bitcoin trading. not to mention they have all their users that they can easily convert into bitcoin trading.

Can you add the option to have other alert thresholds? E.g. Right now, I can set it to alert me if BTC goes over X, or below Y, or is equal to Z. I'd like to be able to have an alert for all of those conditions, rather than having to pick just one (so I'm alerted if it spikes and if it crashes).

thanks for your feedback!
