Re: how much gonna be 1 BTC in a year?

Any price between $600 and $1000 seems quite realistic to me.
Personally, I'd bet for $700.

Title says it all, what out of the following would you like to buy the most with BTC?

OPTIONS:
- Clothes
- Outdoor Equipment (e.g. footballs, bike pumps etc.)
- Outside Toys
- Games and Puzzles
- Soft and Cuddly Toys
- Inflatable Toys
- Art and Craft
- Paper and Card
- Office Stationary
- Glues and Sellotape etc.
- Shop/Business Supplies
- Outdoor Products
- Pet Supplies/Products
- Water
- Gum
- Bags
- Lighting
- DIY
- Candles
- Wrapping Paper and Cards
- Picture/Photo Frames
- Party Supplies
- Jewellery
- E-Cigarettes (will require customer to provide valid ID)
- Lighters (will require customer to provide valid ID)
- Smoking Accessories (will require customer to provide valid ID)

Clothes, Games, Art and Craft, Stationary, Pet Supplies, Water, Candles and even more.
It would be perfect if BTC could be a payment method for all everyday purchases and financial operations like buying food, paying taxes, etc.

What I believe is that fiat will always be there, one way or another.
In my understanding, cryptocurrencies were never meant to completely replace fiat money. It always be just an alternative.

Someone just argued with me that gambling can be done by kid too.. Huh

Absolute nonsense! Gambling is all about real money and high risks - not to mention it can cause strong addiction.
So, I'd say gambling is one of the worst things for kids.

Re: What do you do with your btc?

Unfortunately, I don't have any places at my location that would accept BTC as a payment method.
That's why I only spend my coins online from time to time: on humblebundle, for example.

Ofc you can go and look for campaigns that want newbies, but I think it's much easier to upgrade your account to Jr. Member. Then you'll see a lot of good opportunities.

Re: What % of your Assets is Bitcoin?

So what percentage of your total monetary and financial investments are in Bitcoin?

Way less than 10%. Something about 2-4%, I think.

Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen?
by
btlrlx29
on 27/07/2016, 18:45:59 UTC
Bitcoin was created as an alternative to traditional money.
I can imagine the future where BTC becomes not just the most popular, but also fully accepted alternative to fiat. And yet, it will be just an alternative.

Re: The less you own, the more you have

Minimalism + Bitcoin = happiness

I have been living this lifestyle for about 4 years. Everything I own can fit in a carry-on and a backpack (other than a box of childhood stuff at my mother's house). My expenses are about 10% of my monthly income having downsized to a small 35 sqm apartment. I bought a cheap/reliable car, paid in cash (my criteria was something that would last 2 years, good gas mileage and I wouldn't mind walking away from).

By doing this I can focus on the things in life that truly make me happy, last year I traveled to one new country a month. I don't worry about money like I used to. I will probably be able to quit my job in the next few years and do something I enjoy instead of just working for the money. And it has allowed me to accumulate bitcoins. Continuing this lifestyle will allow me to see the world and be independent/free instead of having to spend my life protecting my stuff.

Bitcoin does a lot to help with this lifestyle as I would not be able to be as mobile with gold, moving place to place carrying large amounts of gold across borders while I can carry my private key easily anywhere. I can always find a localbitcoins seller in whatever country I go to to get local currency.

Wow, your story is awesome. You managed to get out of System and live in some other way, and it really deserves respect.

I wish I could live like that too. Unfortunately, the cult of consumerism is still strong in my mind, though in time I'm getting more and more unattached to material assets. Hope someday I'll be wiser.

I'm usually watching funny things on the Internet...laughter is one of the best things to beat stress or sadness.
Also, spending time with my dog helps me wipe the sadness away.

Re: World war 3 will start in 2016-2020 or not?
by
btlrlx29
on 26/07/2016, 17:24:26 UTC
I am interested what bitcointalk forum users think about this.
This are my predictions why world war 3 will start:
1.It will start because of  China and America because of theritory.
2.It will start because of expanding NATO.
3.It will start because of Muslims in Europe.
4.It will start because Europe countries are leaving EU and NATO and because they are going to destroy $.
If world war 3 start I want choose option 4 but I domy want war.
Which option you think that is more chance to start that war?
Help me and tell me what option it is good to add in pool.

I wonder why you didn't mention Russia in this list, lol  Grin

Re: Alcohol consumption as a cause of cancer
by
btlrlx29
on 26/07/2016, 17:22:33 UTC
Alcohol can cause cancer if you drink it too much but if you are not drinking alcohol too much ot can be healthy for your organs inside your body. They are many proofs that alcohol is healty if you dont drink too much.So if you want drink alcohol buy it in Croatia because best alcohol is in Croatia.Croatia is 3rd im drinking alcohol in Europe.Best beers in whole world are Osječko,Karlovačko and Sokol.

Though I don't really know anything about how small amounts of alcohol can be healthy, but I agree with the first part of your statement.

I think alcohol becomes really dangerous and may cause diseases like cancer only when someone drinks too much for many years.
Of course, there might be some congenital problems with liver or kidneys, or some other deseases like HCV that degrade the work of somebody's organs...but this cases are rare I think, because people in these conditions know that they shouldn't mess up with alcohol at all.

Re: What I should do , if gambling in my country illegal?
by
btlrlx29
on 14/07/2016, 10:42:50 UTC
It's illegal, so don't do it. Roll Eyes

This is the best advice. What should you do if gambling is illegal in your country? You should stop. You are breaking local law to gamble online.

I agree. Gambling is not the thing that worth breaking the law.

Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin?
by
btlrlx29
on 14/07/2016, 10:35:33 UTC
Is it really necessary to put women in a special category?

Because, you know, women don't have any problems with the perception of information: they are fully capable of assessing advantages and disadvantages of the innovative technologies, no specific approach needed.

So is there really a problem?

Re: I have a huge gambling problem, any advice on overcoming?

btlrlx29
on 14/07/2016, 10:18:39 UTC
I have lost nearly $40,000 USD in the past month gambling on bustabit, primedice, and moneypot. You would think that I would have learned that I would have learned by know, but every time I have money in bitcoin, I want to gamble it. I even lost 10 bitcoin in one roll on primedice.

I made around $50,000 last month, so I was still able to live, but it's still affecting me. I know the money I am currently making won't last forever, and I need to save it, but it's hard.

It's just burned in my mind to gamble every time I have btc, and I don't know why.

Gosh, I'm so sorry, dude. According to what you said, your addiction has gone too far.
IMHO, instead of asking for an advice from other users, you need to go visit a good addiction specialists.

I am looking for something equivalent to NHK for Japan, or CCTV4 for China. By this I mean a news/entertainment source which provide in English news and stuff about what is going in Russia, the good the bad the fun and sad.

Take a look at this: http://www.themoscowtimes.com/

Re: Will you allow the Government to look into your bitcoin wallets?

'No' is the only answer.

There's enough of the covernment control in my life. Bitcoin was created as something independent, as a way to stay off the government. Why kill one of its main purposes?
