Are there people buying at that price? Last time I checked, people weren't even buying at 1/5th that.

My bad; I misjudged the pricing based on previous sales here.  Currently Openex seems kind of buggy (I've heard people complaining about them and I had to manually claim a transaction) and there isn't any activity over at freshmarket.  Guess I'll just wait till the exchanges expand or for SKC to hit Cryptsy (if it ever does...let's hope)

WTB: 7500 SKC. How much?
If you're still interested, I'd happily sell you 7500 for 0.25BTC

I dont know why are you selling those coins so cheap. 10K skc is over 300 blocks and more than 0.05% of the total coins. The difficulty is increasing fast and were 3/4 away from halving the block reward only 2 months after the release of the coin. Im not trying to persuade anyone to do anything but this doesnt seem like the standard pump and dump coin to me Wink
What then, in your opinion, are these coins worth? I also think this coin has a lot of potential, but due to the lack of support on a major exchange, it is hard for people to put a value on the coins and trade them.

Is skeincoin's SHA256 hash function the same as the one used in normal SHA256 coins? Or is it a variation?

What's the current going rate for SKC? No exchanges take it yet so it's hard to tell.

I just got my bitcoins today, so I guess the guy was just not paying attention to the site. Nothing was lost though.

My bitcoins just showed up.  My guess is that he just wasn't paying attention to the exchange until some people started to complain.

I also have had an issue with them.  I deposited some litecoins and traded them for bitcoins, then when I tried to withdraw the bitcoins, they never showed up.  It's been over a week.  I sent them an email but got no response.

I tried withdrawing Bitcoins from this place a week ago and they haven't shown up yet. On the site it says withdrawals can take a business day but it's been a week. I have sent an email but they haven't responded yet.  How should I proceed from here? Or should I just wait?

Re: [ANN][LTC] Online Litecoin wallet - LTC-Wallet.com

I had around 60LTC stored in the wallet.  When I saw the investing options, I thought it was a scam so I tried to remove my LTC from the wallet, but I kept getting server errors.  Then the site just went offline.  I'm assuming I'll never see those Litecoins again.  Hopefully this is all a big misunderstanding, but it looks like he just took the money and ran.

I assume so as that is the only explanation that really makes sense.  I can try to completely delete Electrum again and then reinstall it.

Yes, I am aware that the Litecoin version is not supported.  I removed the Litecoin version and looked through my filesystem to remove anything related to Electrum and then tried installing the official version with pip.  I'm getting these errors with the official version.

You can check their site (http://electrum.org/) but basically its just an easy-to-use (when it works lol) client.  It is also lightweight because the blockchain is stored on a remote server, so it'll only use around 20-30MB on your hard drive instead of several GB.

Electrum Problem

Hi, I'm having an issue with the Electrum client (I would post this in that subforum but I cant post outside this section yet).  I've been able to install it with pip2 and it has worked fine, but then I tried installing the bitcoin/litecion supported version from GitHub.  That failed, so I went back to reinstall the normal version with pip, but now I get the following error upon starting electrum.

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/electrum", line 89, in
    parser = arg_parser()
  File "/usr/bin/electrum", line 67, in arg_parser
    usage = "usage: %prog [options] command\nCommands: "+ (', '.join(known_commands))
NameError: global name 'known_commands' is not defined

I've tried removing everything to do with electrum and then running the pip install command, but I still get this error.  Has this happened to anyone or can someone point me in the right direction to get this fixed? Thanks
