CS GO is the one for me.  I hope there will be a coin that rewards players of it for playing CS GO.  I'd be more than willing to spend all day "campaigning" for it. LOL!

Are you targeting a specific niche first (ie poker, casino games).  It may be a good strategy but that's just my two cents.

So mas mataas value ng dollar, mas maganda magcash out.

Re: Is it advisable to download wallet in external hard drive?

Jaxx is a good wallet but it has a security flaw so I installed on it own MicroSD
and run it from a android  phone.

Exodus on windows exports private keys to a CSV file and puts it on the desk top
with some stupid name like "Private-Keys come get them" which seems stupid
to me since Microsoft Windows is scanning file contents all the time.

They should put it on the clip-board or let you cut-en-paste it so you can split the
private keys into two half's before pasting

The Nano S seems well over prices too me and the price keeps going up

What's your personal recommendation for the wallet? I am leaning towards Nano S but I want to see more options and not rush into it.

I appreciate the insight about the topic. What about hardware wallets? Since they are made specifically to store crypto coins, are they still not adviseable to some extent?
Personally, I feel that they aren't suitable to be used on public computers either. They are definitely a lot better than bringing around your wallet file to use it on public computers though.

Hardware wallets are certainly designed to prevent any malware attacks against the wallet itself and the private key is never exposed. However, for certain hardware wallets, your setup has to be done on a secure computer. As long as you don't key in anything sensitive on a public computer, you would be safe. Your privacy would still be compromised however.

So is it safe to say that if I have my own computer/laptop to use, then a hardware wallet will be perfect for me?  Please cite the ups and downs for such scenario.  Thanks again!

I am not so much on the techie side so pardon the noob question.  I am planning to purchase an external hard drive so I can just install there my wallets and for mobility.  Is this advisable?  If not, please give alternatives for someone like me who's always on the go.  Thank you in advance!

I try to stay away from the screen/monitor.  What stresses me is the constant monitoring of BTC price so as much as possible, time away from the pc/gadgets is my stress reliever.  It also helps that I have happy people surrounding me.

I can agree with the capitalization part.  Even in starting a business, capitalization matters as it is a big factor to determine how long you'll probably last from the time you start.  But the thing is, there's no such thing as trading without losses (in my opinion).  No matter how tenured you are as a trader or even bots (especially), you cannot have 100% winning rate (unless you trade thinly or not often but then it's still no guarantee).  It's actually the bait of most scammers in trading which many unfortunately still fall for - the guarantee of no loss.

Ang kailangan talaga sa bansa is cryptocurrency literaxy. Aware na ang mga tao pero, some people narket crypto as a scam. Just like yung kay Nyeeeam Xian Gaza. Pero what people are thinking dahil sa mali nyang pagdeliver ng message ay BTC is a scam. Kaya naiinis ako sa kanya, even my workmates asked me about his video. And sabi ko there are orgs that’s using btc as a front pero scam pala and they should read.

Well, I don’t know how true din story nya kasi sikat syang scammer.

Going back to the topic, I agree na kailangan may katapat si CoinsPH para bumaba ang fees nila. Pero devs should take into consideration what is the purpose of the coin/token, kailangan sustainable as a business and to the community sya.

Lastly, kailangan talaga ng information drive para maliterate mga pinoy how crypto works after that everything will follow.

Taking advantage of those who are easily swayed sa fad and hype; mainly because of their financial illiteracy. I just hope that the coin that will be created has one of its main purpose being anti-scam apart from the other usuals like remmitance. I don't know how it will be done but i think crypto is the closest thing we have to achieve it.

Re: Do we want our own coin?

I saw a thread earlier asking about Philippine based or targeted coins, and there have been a few attempts at a country coin. Is this really something that we are interested in?

The purposes for others was for remittances, for general investing, for bills payments and banking, for OFWs, for rewards, for points.

Would we like something similar to Bitcoin ATMs where you can buy and sell on a machine?

Do we want a free airdrop? Or an ICO? Or a mixture of both? (Bounties of course will be available.)

Discuss.

Ako man guilty dyan. Primary hindrance talaga is lack of investors. But masimulan lng yan paired with a good marketing scheme, aalagwa yan sa tingin ko. And with it, pwedeng gumawa na rin ng exchange where the coin is the base pair for all cryptocurrencies available.

Relax lng kabayan, price correction lng yan, antayin mo bounce back nyan, mas mataas mrarating, time to buy more asset. Sbi nga ni john mcaffe s post nya s fb he will eat his own **** pag hnd umabot ng $100k ang btc in 2020.
Actually $500k yung sabi ni mcaffee. But yes, relax lng kasi di pa nman lumagapak ng todo talaga ang bitcoin. It's indeed time to buy.

Re: Waves vs. Bitcoin
by
buenaobra
on 01/01/2018, 09:28:28 UTC
Waves NG - has been released today making Waves the fastest blockchain in cryptocurrency.  1000+ transactions per second compared to 3 for bitcoin.  I'm tired of waiting for 3 days for my bitcoin transaction to go through, and paying $30 USD.  Bitcoin was the first and is well known with the media coverage it receives.  Usually the first coin people buy.  It's time for a new coin to take over, some day.  I think Waves is the best!

It has the potential I think but bitcoin is bitcoin.  I am just dismayed somehow because bitcoin is the way it is today because it is the first mover.  But it certainly is not the best coin that's decentralized and all that it's supposed to be.  We can all thank Maxwell for that.  I know that someday, there will be the "bitcoin-killer".  Maybe this might be it...who knows.

For guys out here who are active on forums and altcoins. When you see new coins what do you think gets you profit faster? Airdrop hunting, Mining or Bounty hunting?
I'm just curious what people is looking/doing to profit something on this forum.

bounty hunting  is the way to  go,with  this you are sure you are investing your time i a sure endeavour, Airdrop hunting can be by the side, lots of fake scam Airdrop this days.

I sure learned a lot from this thread as a newbie though I have to ask: how do you determine scam airdrops?  What are the tell-tale signs I should be on the look out for?  I'd sure start with bounty hunting as soon as I am eligible.

I know I need more research kaya pinuntahan ko na rin yung thread na sinabi ni Ottoman to learn more.

You have to choices, GPUs or ASICs. I'd say go for ASICs as you can get a GPU anytime. Research about Antminer S9s and how it works.

Salamat sa advice, sir.  Do you also have recommendations where I can get these ASICs at a good price?  Thanks again!

Budget ko is around 100k.  Baka konti na lang din kasi idadagdag.  Yung "konti" na yun e around 20-30k siguro.  Above that, mejo isip isip muna.  Hehe!
