When i first started trading i would always sell as soon as i saw 10 to 20 percent gains. Then a few weeks later i would see the same coin like 4 or 5x from where i bought it. I started to realize that holding it would have been best.

The only thing that keeps me sane during holds is the fact that numbers don't lie. Also it is easier on your daily life to hold instead of being glued to the computer all the time.

This is obviously just a way to spread your link around.

It is probably a pump and dump group.

Here is how i started trading ->

1. sign up on Coinbase
2. sign up on Bittrex
3. purchase litcoin on Coinbase and transfer it to Bittrex
4. find a few coins that I like and follow them on all social media outlets
5. find other people that are into the same coin and follow them also for more opinions/data on the coin
6. buy and sell according to news of the coin

This is what I do. It works for me, but doesn't mean it will work for others.

If it were me in this situation, i would move 10% from stocks to crypto and play with that for a while until i become confident enough to put more in. It is not a good idea to gamble more than 10% of your holding in something you have no hands on experience with.

My wife say i have no emotions. This helps me be a better trader. I have lost of coarse but overall i have gained more than i have lost.

This probably doesn't help, but i prefer Bittrex because i really like the iphone app. I do most trading from my phone.

I invest in alts because of the volatility. Can lose more but also gain more. You just have to do lots of research and staying on top of what is going on with the alt that you want to invest in. I bought many alts when we had the major Christmas dip. Sold some for profits and will HODL others for more.

I was also looking to purchase a jr rank, but now i think i will just try to post everyday and earn points. In fact, this is my very first post. Hopefully i get some points for this.
