Any chance to use VRM cpu miner as a second miner?
nobody have an idea?
VRM is the best CPU minable coin, much better than XMR...

Hi, guys.
I have tried all that i thought useful.

I CAN'T OVERCLOCK P104 GPU !!

Hardware:
RIG - 13 x P104-100 ASUS
MBO - Asus B250 Mining Expert

NVOC settings (coin ETH, no auto-switch):

1. 1bash OC
TEMPERATURE_CONTROL="YES"
damNmad_ALGO_SPECIFIC_OC="NO"
POWERLIMIT="YES"
 POWERLIMIT_WATTS=150
 __CORE_OVERCLOCK=0
 MEMORY_OVERCLOCK=600
MANUAL_FAN="YES"
 FAN_SPEED=100
P106_100_FULL_HEADLESS_MODE="YES"
AUTOMATIC_OVERCLOCK="NO"

2. automatic OC (waiting 5 hours mining)
TEMPERATURE_CONTROL="YES"
damNmad_ALGO_SPECIFIC_OC="NO"
POWERLIMIT="NO"
 POWERLIMIT_WATTS=150
 __CORE_OVERCLOCK=0
 MEMORY_OVERCLOCK=500
MANUAL_FAN="YES"
 FAN_SPEED=100
P106_100_FULL_HEADLESS_MODE="YES"
AUTOMATIC_OVERCLOCK="YES"

3. Algo OC
TEMPERATURE_CONTROL="YES"
damNmad_ALGO_SPECIFIC_OC="YES"
POWERLIMIT="NO"
 POWERLIMIT_WATTS=150
 __CORE_OVERCLOCK=0
 MEMORY_OVERCLOCK=500
MANUAL_FAN="YES"
 FAN_SPEED=100
P106_100_FULL_HEADLESS_MODE="YES"
AUTOMATIC_OVERCLOCK="NO"

NO ONE WORKING
The same hash rate. Absolutely the same.
Any help, please....

Give us more information. Du you have some links for linux version ? Source code to compile ? Did you tried to compile yourself ?

What are the minings commands for example ?

Propose something to modify scripts files like 0miner and/or 1bash by trying to copy another command from another miner.

your request in the state we can not answer it if you do not bring us a little information and that we are obliged to seek it in your place whereas it is you who asks this software that nobody here does not seem know.

Is this miner more efficient than XMR Stack CPU ?

In addition, XMR difficulty has become very difficult to sustain in recent weeks. Until the outbreak of BTC (and also ALTcoins) in December, the difficulty allowed really profitable mining with CPU or few GPU, but since this peak of BTC, it is really hard and continue to clim highly and rapidly.

One more effort, you registered, and put a question on this thread, you can also push the scmilblick  and we will look at your asks.

Yes, is a few times better than XMR, especially if you have CPU with AES instructions set. I've got $70/month with one  ESXI VM machine with 70% 2x8Core Xeon CPU.

VeriumMiner Linux Binaries: https://github.com/fireworm71/veriumMiner/releases/download/v1.4/cpuminer_1.4_linux_x64_O2_GCC7.zip
Sources: https://github.com/fireworm71/veriumMiner
syntax: ./cpuminer -o stratum+tcp://eu.vrm.mining-pool.ovh:3032 -u Weblogin.WorkerName -p WorkerPassword

Well that's enough to easily add the minor and modify the mining of Monero with this minor.

Just a question about your Monero miner: You say you are using a virtualization server equipped with 2 Xeon 8 Hearts. But it is known that servers of this type also have large amounts of memories. So your mining software may be better at using RAM.
Cryptonight is also known to be a heavy consumer algorithm of RAM.
How many RAM have your maachine ?

I think you will have papampi or Leenoox replies with this information, otherwise, I could make you a simplified modification proposal that would not necessarily be the best by filling in one by the other. But I think it's better to keep the two miners in the same way as EWBF and ZM Miner.This requires a little more modifications and "complexity" in the commands to launch and test.

EDIT : did you know if this miner is able to mine with GPU ? Beacause XMR STAK GPU is flawlessy efficient.

Verium is CPU only. I have 16GB RAM available.
Thank you so much.

Asus B250 MINING EXPERT - 13-18 ASUS P104-100 GPU !!!
Does anyone solved that? Anything looks fine, until start terminal. When i use 13+ cards, not working.
I am using the new ASUS p104-100 GPU's. NOT mixed.
Is the board showing all 18 detected green?
Have you done the Asus board update in EZ Setup Flash Utility?

Absolutely, all is green.
Last BIOS.

Hi guys

BIIIIIIIIIG problem here
Anyone solved that?

- 13 RX580 8GB XFX on B250 MBO
- last bios updated for MBO
- original BIOS for GPS's
- Using simplemining OS
- no overclock for GPu's

AWFUL RESULTS:
ETH - Total Speed: 14.022 Mh/s, Total Shares: 3, Rejected: 0, Time: 00:22
ETH: GPU0 0.876 Mh/s, GPU1 1.317 Mh/s, GPU2 1.642 Mh/s, GPU3 1.642 Mh/s, GPU4 0.657 Mh/s, GPU5 1.317 Mh/s, GPU6 0.000 Mh/s, GPU7
2.629 Mh/s, GPU8 0.876 Mh/s, GPU9 1.317 Mh/s, GPU10 0.000 Mh/s, GPU11 0.875 Mh/s, GPU12 0.876 Mh/s

Same awful results on any scrypt.
I have tried one full day to mix power suply, risers, all !!!
Any idea?

do you have the same result when you try them one by one ? Have you tried other pcie slots?

Found the problem... it was my fault, in OC page i leaved bkank OC fields.
Leaving blank those fields does not mean that the GPU will work at stock bios values. Leaving OC fields blank are resulting in 10% mining performance, as you can see....

WHY Huh?? 1 MH instead 26MH !!!

I spent one full day trying to solve that..

Asus mining pro 250
13 x XFX RX580 8GB stock bios
All possible OC settings (currently not overclocked)

ETH - Total Speed: 14.022 Mh/s, Total Shares: 3, Rejected: 0, Time: 00:22
ETH: GPU0 0.876 Mh/s, GPU1 1.317 Mh/s, GPU2 1.642 Mh/s, GPU3 1.642 Mh/s, GPU4 0.657 Mh/s, GPU5 1.317 Mh/s, GPU6 0.000 Mh/s, GPU7
2.629 Mh/s, GPU8 0.876 Mh/s, GPU9 1.317 Mh/s, GPU10 0.000 Mh/s, GPU11 0.875 Mh/s, GPU12 0.876 Mh/s

im having the same problem
wanna trade info to see if we can manage to do it?  i have 9 xfx rx580 xxx gts
i tried messaging you on pm but you have an option blocked from getting messages from "newbies"

So, no one knows that?Huh This is such a stupid situation?

I think there is something about asus MBO settings...
I still not solved that.
Have the same results on all algo's

Same on cryptonight, 10x lower results than expected...

Have you turned on "above 4G decoding" ?

That Asus mobo is supposed to have a "mining" mode or something like that. Also are you powering up a display off of  any of the cards you are trying to mine with?
