Re: Bitcoin ETF .. do we really need it?
by
bungphe
on 09/08/2018, 05:58:09 UTC
A bitcoin ETF is one that mimics the price of the most popular digital currency in the world. This allows investors to buy into the ETF without going through the complicated process of trading bitcoin itself. Moreover, because holders of the ETF won't be directly invested in bitcoin itself, they will not have to worry about the complex storage and security procedures required of cryptocurrency investors.
There is another crucial benefit to focusing on a bitcoin ETF rather than on bitcoin itself. Because the ETF is an investment vehicle, investors would be able to short sell shares of the ETF if they believe that the price of bitcoin will go down in the future. This is not something that can be done in the traditional cryptocurrency market

Greedy is easy ways to lose money on this market. The innovative technology behind Cryptocurrencies presents investors with the opportunity to make high returns, but it comes at a high risk. No one ever lost money taking a profit.  Get into the habit of taking profits and scouting for re-entry if you want to continue reaping potential profits. Don't be greedy.

Re: Why we will see $50k Bitcoin end of year

Anything can happen in crypto. Maybe not quite $50k, but I certainly can see around $20k again next year, not 2018. No one can guarantee how much it will rise. It may not rise so much this year. The chance may be next year. FOMO is an amazing thing.

Re: Investing in Bitcoin? Advantages and Disadvantages

Bitcoin will also continue to grow in popularity as it's private, free from bank fees, and offers payment freedom that's free of any intermediaries. It also offers merchants less risk as payments can't be reversed and unlike traditional banking, it's also fast.

In order for btc to become the main store of value, majority of the population must agree on that it will be so, since btc does not have any intrinsic value; the value of btc is decided purely by demand for btc.
So, my answer is no. Btc is not the future of our economy.

Re: How to become a trader?

Day traders need a solid foundation of knowledge about how the markets functions. From simple details (like exchange trading hours and holidays) to complex details (like the impact of news events, margin requirements, and allowed tradable instruments), a trader needs to have a wide knowledge base.

Re: Reason we pay taxes and why we should
by

A tax irrespective of its name is another life source of government sustenance. No government can sustain itself without tax. Tax money goes a long way in funding government programs, which are needed to keep a government alive. There is no government in the world today that does not collect tax in one way or another, and the reason is to sustain itself.

Re: Why choose LONG-TERM TRADING?
by
bungphe
on 30/07/2018, 02:53:34 UTC
Everyone should invest for long-term wealth accumulation. The only decision is whether a trader also wants to take the time to compound capital very quickly by trading daily. Day traders can make upwards of 10 percent per month, whereas investors are more likely to make 10 percent to 20 percent per year.

Before you put any money into any cryptos, you need to do your own research into them.
- Read the white papers
- Go on the crypto’s website
- Take a look at the Reddit/Bct communities

Re: How to Choose the Best Cryptocurrency Exchange
by
bungphe
on 26/07/2018, 04:40:18 UTC
A reliable exchange is one that will not let customers register to its service without a minimum of KYC (Know Your Customer) measures. To prevent money laundering and other illegal financial operations, an exchange should verify customers identity and be able to research their financial background by asking them to submit 2 or more pieces of identification. Due diligence should be done by the exchange not only on the customers but also on the coin they list. If an exchange lists scam coins or coins that are not known as reliable, it may be a sign that the exchange may not be truly trustable.

Re: What are common mistakes and problems of the traders?
by
bungphe
on 25/07/2018, 02:49:07 UTC
Not having a trading plan or sticking to one

Experienced traders get into a trade with a well-defined plan. They know their exact entry and exit points, the amount of capital to be invested in the trade, and the maximum loss they are willing to take, etc. Beginner traders may be unlikely to have a trading plan in place before they commence trading. Even if they have a plan, they may be more prone to abandon it than seasoned traders if things are not going their way. Or they may reverse course altogether (for example, going short after initially buying a security because it is declining in price), only to end up getting "whipsawed."

- People are afraid of losing money. Never invest more you are willing to lose
- People are often uncertain to what crypto coin to invest in there are over 1,000 coins to choose from
- People often doubt that they can earn money or they will be the next crypto millionaire or the coins will gain 30% over night

It's true that there are people that make huge profits in day trading crypto's. However, not everyone succeeds with day trading, and it is also one of the reason why most people lose money trying to beat the market.

Take some profit at first area of resistance/support (it may not break though)
Take some profit just prior to a market open.
Take profit on unexpected quick unexpected spikes ( spikes are highly likely to retrace very quickly)

I think masternode is a best investment in 2018.
Masternodes provide strong incentives for investors to hold and to promote the network they help secure.
Dash is not the only masternode coin out there so, if you miss that boat, despair not because you can easily get yourself a cheap masternode if you know where to look.

Re: Who believes in HODLING?

You should hodl:

If you are a believer of this blockchain technology.
If you have patience.
If you believe that the peak of this bubble is not even priced in yet.
If you believe that we will match or possibly surpass the Internet bubble’s $3 trillion market capital.
If you can afford to lose and risk it all.
If you don’t need the money at this time.
If you do not have the slightest idea of what you’re doing.
If you don’t have the time to keep up with how fast this space is moving.

Trading is decision-making in action. This is actually an incredibly empowering idea. As humans, we possess extremely powerful brains, capable of processing as much as most supercomputers. When we engage the rational, logical parts of our brain, they can be incredibly powerful and capable of making objective, complex decisions.

Exchanging cryptographic forms of money is dependably a dangerous business. Cash can be earned and lost in a matter of simple seconds. Be that as it may, if a well known trade goes down and merchants can't execute orders, something is unquestionably not right.

Someone in the PRiVCY Discord chat room just asked how to get the private key for their wallet, so here it is, quick and easy:

1. Lock your wallet if it's already unlocked for staking.
2. Unlock your wallet using your passphrase and uncheck the For Staking Only box.
3. Click Help, then click Debug Window
4. In the bottom of the window type dumpprivkey your wallet address (ex. dumpprivkey PSj5h4tTTgmz9LHcuD5689ABJS7T3HFF7f). Make sure there's a space between dumpprivkey and your wallet address. Hit ENTER.
5. You will see your PRiVCY wallet private key in the window.

Paste that into a new document and save it with a file name such as privcyprivatekey. Then I'd store it on a USB flash drive or hard drive that's encrypted using Veracrypt or something similar.

After doing this, you might want to also back up your wallet, which is very easy.

1. Click File, click Backup Wallet.
2. Save the .dat file with a filename such as privcybackup7.18.18.

I'd also store this on your encrypted USB or hard drive. You really should backup on a regular basis.

Great tut. Thank you so much bro

platform waves, what makes you use it?

Wave platform is a blockchain environment that provides necessary features needed for business to adopt in today's technology. It has powerful tools that makes building user applications so easy. It is high accessible, transparent and low cost.

I agree with you Julianito that  wave's decentralized exchange makes it accessible together with DEX which is fast, secured and easy to use. SCE using this platform makes it a better environment.
Waves is very simple and lots friendly to noobs. Ethereum is simple too. But has more function and capacity. Ethereum is more responsive and is quite fast. The coming metroplosis will likely put ethereum ahead and leave waves and others in the dust.
