Dial back the intensity and set your rig on something that can not catch fire. You could set it on tile with nothing near it. I set mine on a wood rack and then 4 tiles below it.

change settings in bios to 4g enabled, and change there spots that have gen setting to gen 2. there is like 4 places in the bios where you need to change it. Even after doing all of this you may still have to use pixel patcher, I do when I add new cards, I think it has to do with combining 570 and 580 cards together on same rig, because when its just one type of card everything is fine.

As others have said try dropping core clock and and core voltage that will get the watts and power usage to the lowest point. Im currently at 1150 cclk and 850 core voltage

I agree with the first poster. I do not even go to safe mode. Just make sure windows does not automatically install drivers. And depending what cards you are using (AMD) you may have to run pixel patcher again to get windows device manager to notice the cards.

I have seen pictures of people who are doing it, they usually put an extra fan or two in the case to help with the heat, and they leave the side panel off.

Claymore crashes for me every day or day and a half. Bugger lil' program, ain't it?

Pain in the arse when I think of the electrical consumption when the program randomly crashes and I'm asleep or out.

Gotta have a life, but mining trying to take away from that.

Anyone know how to get alerted when Claymore stops working without any intricate coding of any sorts?

I cant remember if there is a way for claymore, double check the readme file but I do not thing you can. Although you can have your pool send you an email when your rig is down, atleast ethermine does.

You can but only with certain graphics cards. For example, the AMD Rx 580/570 series cant be mined with the new drivers on windows 32 bit.

As others have said there is not a huge difference between the 4Gb models and 8Gb. The Sapphire brands tend to reach 30-31 much easier than the other brands regardless of memory type in my experience.

Re: 2 x Gold PSU + Add2PSU (or alternatives?) + 8 x GPU: How to not burn anything?
by

Your steps are correct. Use each PSU to power its own set of risers and GPU's. You also have the add2psu set correctly. Using molex is ok if you run out of 6pin connectors, but I would not power more than one molex per line. Whatever you do not use SATA for anything.

The straps might be an issue but usually I have seen freezing has more to do the overclock settings.

It is not a good idea to mine with 1050 because you can only fit so many on one motherboard and then you have to buy all the components again. So it is not worth it if your are going to have multiple rigs.

Re: [GUIDE][TUTORIAL][XMR,ETH,ETN]How To Mod Bios RX470/570/480/580 VEGA Mining 💰

Thanks for this nice tutorial.

I got a bunch of 570 (4gb and 8gb). I will check their memory brand. Would you recommend me keeping only samsung and return the rest?

My plan:
Using win 10
newest drivers from amd (compute mode)
Download bios from anorak (should I choose the powersave ones)?

What software would u recommend for tuning volt and OC? I will set fan to auto.

I recommend using OverdriveNtool. It is by far the best to me. And you can set it up to use a batch file to set your OC and underC/V settings on startup.

Pretty much what everyone said. Do no expect a perfect line for expected hashrate.
