It's kind of a sad but necessary moment when revolutionary technologies go mainstream. Fortunately for us experienced, we get to profit from the market that the newbies are influencing.

inb4 bitcoin crash

Either bitcoin will experience a correction from all the indonesians selling off their coins, or, they will simply find a way to circumvent the bans using VPN, Tor, etc. People will always find a way and now is a good time to research for ways to keep yourself anonymous online. Good luck my friend

Re: Stop buying Bitcoin!

Watch. We all are going to speculate about a price crash/huge correction but like time and time again we will be proved wrong and the price will go up slowly and we all take an L because we didn't trust our instincts and buy when we could. I just need the price to correct several hundreds so I can actually turn a profit. Have we all forgotten bitcoin is deflationary and is supposed to appreciate in value over time?? Bitcoin, even with massive price corrections has still always gone up in value-- Bitcoin is too big to fail right now and no alt has the abillity to take it down for now. We must buy low sell high!

Bitcoin is good for HODL right now but nothing else. Transaction fees are insane for any regular joe like you and I. If you can stick to alts like Litecoin for that kind of stuff because transaction fees are much lower and they can still be valuable.

I'm not sure if any alt can topple BTC as the "main coin" but they are defintely profitable and have many different features besides just regular old Bitcoin. That said, altcoins are still underground and will stay that way for a long time, as only BTC is mainstream atm.

Good Altcoin for transaction fees
by

I bought bitcoin and tried moving it and realized how insane the transaction fees are. I'm not very wealthy so i can't afford to lose all my money on transaction fees. Good altcoins for this, anyone? Also list the exchangs they are traded on.

I'm using Coinbase and I know that it's not safe to keep bitcoins in web wallet. I keep giving it the electrum address to send it to but it keeps telling me that my transaction is invalid. Are detrimenistic wallets incompatible with coinbase? Is there any way to get them to electrum?

When the banks decide to start the war on Bitcoin
by
bustun101

Bitcoin is rising. People are noticing. It's only a matter of time before the big banks start to really crack down on the crypto market. Will this be what causes the bitcoin crash? (or at least a major devaluing) Or, will cryptos win and survive the onslaught of major institutions? I have been thinking about this, all the possibillites of where the market could end up. Who knows?

Re: How will governments survive

It's only a matter the time until the inverse of your question becomes true. Governments always try to regulate everything, with the rise of exchanges and such asking for ID it's really undermining the crypto currency purpose: anonymity. Maybe us, to protect our privacy must fight to have privacy survive and find new ways to prevent govs. from knowing more than they should

Net Neutrality
by
bustun101
on 26/11/2017, 18:36:51 UTC
For those of you who don't know already, net neutrality is in danger. The new FCC commissioner Ajit Pai is a former Verizon lawyer, so there's a big corporation controling their puppets in the government. In a few weeks there's going to be a vote on whether to end net neutrality or not. I'm scared this will go through, what do you all think about this issue?

ICOs are inherently risky but at the low prices that coins are usually sold for its really easy to make a
huge ROI when prices shoot up (if it succeeds)
