I would have given you full remote control of my machine.
Then I will just upload a copy of source to mega and post link in this thread. Wanna do this yourself?
Security through obscurity? This is 100% why
Cryptocurrency technology was introduced to begin with. Secure, Obscure transactions. I am just temporarily doing it.
Forget what I said, I'm done with this shit.
C2 has no future with dev who don't have basic IT security knowledge. Bye, you'll never hear me again.

...

We are only releasing the source code to the exchanges until all the swaps go through.
This way IF there was something that a hacker could exploit(Something in PoW scheme) they can't do it
We will be 100% PoS there were few PoW blocks made for the network to be able to quickly exchange Coin2.

Now that being said, this "untrusted binary" is coming from me, nobody else seems to a have problem with keeping
the source private for a day or so. If it really makes a difference to you, you can teamviewer with me and i will go over the source
with you or something along those lines, compile it for you and then send it to you. Just be aware you are taking
valuable time I could be spending helping others exchange coins, but we don't want people to think we are just leaving
them behind or scamming them.

I will give everyone details about WHY we increased the money supply again(The first time wasn't my idea btw)

Guys, really? Security through obscurity is the last principle anyone should use in cryptocurrency. Seems like dev team learned nothing from two and a half attacks.
As for me:
  • I can't get the source code.
  • I can't do qualitative audit remotely.
  • I can't swap my coins without new wallet.
So what... bye, C2? Well, this was expected somehow.

Windows Wallet : https://mega.co.nz/#!FcYXjZaB!EvP8e6qGZL1NOfJLc8EFD7m2UmLpXDPpYnW3LMwV3gA
Source? I want to build wallet for GNU/Linux, but I can't.

Linux OS Wallet: https://mega.co.nz/#!9BgCUSIZ!wziExd4XO4nvGxdKSZJaRCymqx__LwFbQ9vV-nIJGqQ
You misread me. As I said, I want to build wallet for GNU/Linux, not to use untrusted binary.
If you have link on github or source archive please share it.

So... Nobody cares, I think.
Devs, WTF? Where's that user-friendly community I used to know?

and you created new profile just to ask about kinda things?
Yes, I created new profile just to "ask about kinda things". I don't want to link my real-name profile with my anonymous cryptocurrency holdings.
Join.me works on Linux
It requires Adobe Flash, which I don't use because it's not opensource. C2.0 wallet is.

Kalisto, how do manual transfers occur? Sorry for my lack of fundamental knowledge

We will use Join.me(Well you guys will) and we will check your old wallet(Coin2.0) and transfer the new coin to your new wallet.
This is only for manual transfers of course. Join.me still leaves you anonymous as well since we only connect to a web browser
More secure than skype and less painful lol

I don't use windows, macOS or adobe flash. How am I supposed to exchange?

Happy days!

So to recap:

1 to 1 trade into new c2 @ 5% interest p.a. for minting and (obviously) 60mil max supply

No worries.

Really? https://github.com/coin2-project/Coin2.0/commit/16e921c62b4352d66bf1c74e83213318b5463cc3
Quote
-        nSubsidy = 60000000 * COIN;   // 60 million coins, that all pow coins
+        nSubsidy = 64000000 * COIN;   // 60 million coins, that all pow coins

Btw, https://github.com/coin2-project/Coin2.0/commit/5ab04f1a2f0d577761eb57d2556009e22104b5c5
Quote
-static const int LAST_POW_BLOCK = 10000;
+static const int LAST_POW_BLOCK = 2;
Quote from: main.cpp
unsigned int nStakeMinAge = 60 * 60 * 24 * 1; // minimum age for coin age: 1d
This won't work. After PoW end we'll have to wait 1 day for the 3rd block (PoS), then 1 more day for 4,5, 1 more day for 6,7,8,9...
10 days just to set up the network (1440 blocks per day).

How about this? You do it!  Grin
I'm not the head dev. You are.
If this is the way you deal with potential problems then I can't wait to see the fall of C2.
I hope you drunk right now or your kid is typing instead of you or your account was stolen or something like that.

IF YOUR COINS ARE IN YOUR WALLET, READ BELOW.

1. Send a screenshot of your wallet including date and time.
2. Include a copy/paste of your old wallet address and copy/paste of new wallet address.  ( Obviously as soon as you have the new wallet.)
Don't you think some investors may not have bitcointalk account and may not want to have any?
Don't you think some investors may not want to disclose their anonymous cryptocurrency holdings and link it with their accounts?
Don't you think anyone can easily make fake screenshots claiming he is the owner of any address?

I suggest you should:
1. Make new C2 addresses compatible with old ones
2. Take a snapshot of blockchain and calculate final balance for each address.
3. Transfer old C2 to new C2 automatically excluding attacker's address.
4. Post a how-to for importing "old" private keys into new wallet.

You have already failed twice. Please, take appropriate consultations with somebody who is heavily into crypto this time before making final decisions.
