Would love to thank everyone wholeheartedly for the recommendations. I will look into every one of them but it seems as though Eidoo seems like a pretty solid option.

Thank you very much. Best of wishes to you all!

I used coins.ph wallet. It is secured, fast and reliable which do not only supports eth but also btc (of course), xrp and bch. You can also buy prepaid loads and pay bills throug this. I'm just not sure whether this can possibly be used by people outside the Philippines, may I know which country you came from?

I currently reside in the US.

Trust Wallet - works with any ERC-20 and ERC-223 tokens and supports the main blockchain in the Ethereum ecosystem-Ethereum, Ethereum Classic and Callisto, as well as POA Network and GoChain.
Enjin Wallet - is the most secure wallet in the world for Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), Enjin Coin (ENJ) and ANY ERC-20 tokens.
ImToken - is a lightweight mobile application for IOs and Android platforms, created in China. The wallet is convenient and supports ERC-20, which makes it a great tool to participate in ICO. The list of supported tokens is constantly updated.

Interesting, so you're saying I can use the ENJIN Wallet for ETH? But isn't ENJIN a ERC-1155 token?

Thank you to everyone for the recommendations! Again, very much appreciate the help!

Best ETH Mobile App Wallet for iOS/Android?

Hello !
I'm looking for some user friendly and secure wallets for ETH on mobile. I do know that.. yes the safest is to get a cold storage / hardware wallet, but just looking into available options. Any recommendations? I see that there's a Trust Wallet; however, not much else.

Would appreciate some help and/or feedback. Thank you!

Check out Neblio.  There may be a minuscule fee though.  I'm not 100% on that one.  Sounds like it may be just what your looking for.

Awesome, thank you for providing this to me. I'll definitely take a look.

Which Protocol Platform meets these requirements?

Hello everyone,

I would like to explore building my own project and I wanted to check if anyone can provide me with information on which protocol platform that will meet these requirements:

1) Fast roll out of new token/currency
2) Ability to add custom functionality quickly
3) Free Transactions (no fees)
4) Great dev team
5) Total control of infrastructure.

I'm looking for one thats preferably open source so that I can use the existing code to build upon.

So far the only ones that I know of maybe ETH but from what I gather you do not have total control over the infrastructure and it is not feel-less.

Can anyone help with my question above?

I've been searching and doing the calculations but don't seem to be able to get the right numbers.

Also, is it impossible to get accurately calculate a number of your earnings because the factor of chance involved in solving blocks?

The one and only answer to your original question answered it for you.

I think it answers my 2nd question above; however, I dont seem to understand where it helps me with the calculations of my earnings.

But for the 2nd question I' m under the impression that transactions fees are being paid by AntPool under the PPS part.

Hello everyone, I' am pretty new to all of this and am definitely trying to learn at the best of my abilities. I have some questions and hope that someone can help assist me with regarding AntPool:

1) If I have a hypothetical hash rate of say 4.05 PH/s, how do I calculate the amount of BTC and the transactions fee I will receive?

I checked the AntPool website “AntPool Payment Method and Fees”, and they have the below formula, but I’am a bit confused…

PPS+Block Reward (4%Tx Fee2%)
Earnings = 12.5 BTC * Share Count of 1 Difficulty / Current Network Difficulty + Tx Fee PPLNS

So will the calculations go as follows (August 23 difficulty + hashrate of 4.05 PH/s)

PPS+ Amount: 0.16090651
Transaction Fee: 0.00125503
So technically I’ll be earning: 0.16216154

Is this correct? Can someone kindly explain to how I will be accurately calculate how much BTC I will receive if I join the AntPool with a certain hashrate?

2) It seems as though I read here that people are not recommending others to use AntPool. Alternatives include SlushPool, but why is this? AntPool is one of the largest pools. What are  the advantages and/or disadvantage for  using it? Will it make a difference if say you’re a smaller operations v.s. a larger operation?

Any help would help and be very much appreciated. Thank you kindly.

Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions its  very much appreciated.

Just wondering if that was an option in lowering the mining profitability, do you know if I decided to mine says BitCoin Cash will an Antminer S9 consume the same amount of electricity as if was mining BitCoin(BTC) ? I guess if it does consume the same amount of electricity, then the added benefit would be that I will be able to mine more of BCH?

Thank you for the reply, so there's absolutely no way I can do anything on the software side to change that?

How about being able to control the amount of electricity it uses to "lessen" the hash rate?

Thanks!

Antminer s9 + Alt coin Questions. Help?

Hello, I wanted to see if it is possible to alter the Antminer S9 and/or change in any way to mine other Alt coins with different hash algorithms.

Also, if I wanted to mine another SHA 256 coin with the Antminer S9 such as BCC will it take the same amount of electricity as I would be mining BTC. Just that I assume I would receive more BCC since it's a lot easier to mine? Is there a way to throttle the Antminer S9 electricity consumption to mine less?

Thank you for the help!
