Re: Are you using a hardware wallet to store your coins?

I don’t use a hardware wallet. For me, it's more comfortable to use cold wallet on CEX (https://cex.io/). And I can say that offline storage is just as safe as a hardware wallet. Furthermore, it’s more convenient for traders. And there is no bother of deposit/withdrawal/transfer of crypto to and from the wallet.

What are the special features you're talking about? I use CEX which also has low trading fees, strong security, and intuitive interface. It is a reliable and reputable exchange with many depositing options and fiat/crypto pairs support (https://cex.io/dash-eur). New exchanges suffer from low credibility – users are likely to stick to tried and tested platforms.

Re: DO THEY REALLY CARE ABOUT YOUR MONEY?
by

I think neither Warren Buffet nor banks care about the security of our money. By criticizing cryptocurrency, they encourage people to put money in banks so they can have control over it. All they care is their own comfort and benefit. They are afraid of a possibility of performing transactions without their assistance which is offered by crypto.

Re: How to learn day trading?

Thanks to the Internet you can find a lot of useful blogs, articles, videos for free. Nobody will write you a step-by-step guide for successful day trading or provide you with a strategy. You should educate yourself and practice on demo accounts before risking money. Aside from theory, you should learn how to manage your risks and be down to earth about profits. You won’t succeed all the time, you will experience losses, but in any case, don’t let emotions to control you.Margin trading is able to increase your profits greatly. One of a few exchanges that offer margin trading is CEX (https://cex.io/margin-trading) – I am going to try it. Always remember about risks related to day trading.

Yes, I still believe in crypto, even stronger than before. I am 100% sure it won’t disappear. Decentralized cryptocurrencies showed their privileges and advantages over controlled fiats. Once people feel the financial freedom, they won’t be able to refuse it. Nothing except for people giving up on it can destroy cryptocurrency .

I would go for major coins. Like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple. Or even DASH. Luckily, I can buy them all using my card at CEX. Or just exchange BTC for one of these altcoins (https://cex.io/dash-btc). This website is quite simple and has a strong security.

Re: Why everyone only invest in the crypto market?
by
calebwa
on 09/11/2018, 10:47:38 UTC
There are several reasons why people invest in crypto. First, incredibly low barriers that allow entering more people. Second, the simplicity to do it in a few clicks online. Third, there is no tax. Finally, great returns. These factors are attractive even to those who have never invested before. Perhaps, during the long bearish market, some people want to switch to more stable assets. But the advantages of the crypto market don’t let people leave it.

Buy a hardware wallet then. Alternatively, you can acquire a cold storage on the exchange like CEX. Or you can combine storing some of your coins on a wallet and on an exchange. I am storing the majority of coins on CEX because it's both convenient and secure. I like buying major coins and smaller ones like dash there (https://cex.io/dash-eur) and leaving them there offline.

With currently low volatility and low prices, such good news indicate a strong support. It is just a matter of time when the breakthrough happens. Now only news influence the price, and while market is maturing, it will soon become protected from sharp responses to news.

The picture is really funny. What the general audience should know is that blockchain is not a cryptocurrency. And mass adoption of blockchain by companies doesn’t mean that the price of cryptocurrency will skyrocket. I think we should focus on the Bitcoin adoption at the moment.

Re: Do you have to make big investment before you can make profit in crypto?
by

on 29/10/2018, 20:10:11 UTC
I think it's not necessary to make big investments in order to get profit in crypto. You might as well earn on small investments. But you should keep in mind that success doesn't come fast. It requires patience. While trading, I try to analyse the market, and that's a simple key to success. Usually, I buy some xrp (https://cex.io/xrp-usd) and hold it on CEX for trading (they have a cold storage). When you're trying to buy crypto with your card, this exchange will ask to provide so many documents that I have no doubts about their reliability.

Is it safe to manage multiple bitcoin wallets from one pc?

Quite a complicated question Smiley Having multiple wallets is, in fact, a good idea. But managing them from one PC? Nope, I think it's better to use a hardware wallet instead of a desktop one. Or use a cold storage on the exchange. I do it like that: buy some btc with cards on CEX (https://www.cex.io/buy-bitcoins) and store coins there, as the service provide a secure offline option.

Re: Is it still worth mining bitcoin in 2018 ?
by
calebwa
on 24/10/2018, 14:05:11 UTC
Seriously, I think that there’s no way to mine BTC in 2018/2019. The Chinese community controls the major part of mining power, so ordinary users can hardly compete with their hubs. Even ASICs aren’t ideal for this goal because you can’t produce enough power to get rewards. I’d suggest mining ETH or other altcoins which aren’t as popular as BTC. Alternatively, you can think about trading – this approach may be highly profitable if you have enough knowledge and some luck. Just compare potential incomes using crypto calculators (https://cex.io/bitcoin-calculator). Surely, both ways are volatile and nobody can guarantee that you will earn a lot. But I think that mining altcoins or trading is better than mining BTC now.

Re: Stop loss feature in Exchanges
by
calebwa
on 23/10/2018, 14:33:53 UTC
Surely, this tool is amazing as it helps to minimize losses. Obviously, only experienced traders will get the maximum profit using stop loss, but I like that crypto exchanges introduce new features. Some day we will see fully-functional exchanges with a lot of pro tools available for everybody. It’s even better that newcomer-oriented platforms launch such features, too. For instance, CEX allows using stop loss when you are on the margin trading screen (https://cex.io/margin-trading). I hope that exchanges will launch educational guides for new traders to learn about those tools.

Decentralized money makes you free from current financial system with all its control and possible frauds. There is no authority that will tell you what to do with Bitcoin. The only thing people afraid of concerning crypto is high volatility.

Probably, I will agree with baonguyen. I also think that the exchange coin is a good choice but it has low chances, as Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP are the major coins. But I like the idea of exchanges creating their own coins. I wish all reliable websites did that, or at least, CEX (https://cex.io/).

Re: Futures Bitcoin What Is The Use

I don’t rule out the possibility that in the future bitcoin will become a universal monetary unit like gold was in 19th century. Even if bitcoin won’t become a global currency, it will compete with gold as an asset. Bitcoin possession is one of few stakes in which can participated by anyone anywhere in the world.

Re: BTC or ETH in 2018
by

Both are good variants for investment. Bitcoin remains the most popular option for the accumulation of assets. It gained good reputation and didn’t lose the leading position in terms of price and reliability. Nevertheless, it doesn’t mean that investors are not interested in ETH. Considering the youthful stage, the growth of ETH’s popularity is impressive. It ranks 2nd on the market capitalization and trading volumes after bitcoin. ETH developers took into account weak points of bitcoin and improved the technology with much quicker transactions and lower transaction fees. But at the moment ETH can’t keep up with bitcoin's price.
