Agree the cloud miners throwing significant resources at this show belief in long term value. Plus, anyone can become a cloud miner using free credits following overlode's guide posts earlier in this ANN thread. 
Some/most people are renting out cloud servers, an 8 core VS can get you 18 H/S, which would mean the whale could be running over 1600 VS servers. Someone really believes in ARO! Also the DEV has confirm that these high hash rates are coming from cloud hosting.
I must be doing something wrong ,
When i look @ the hashrates in the pool there are people there with 29.000 hash when my 8700k shows 5.4 hash does that person have the equivalent of 29.000 / 5.4 = 5370 x i7 8700k running ?
I dont understand how this would be possible can someone please explain.

Rock star pool has found 21 blocks and is up to 23 miners, growing quickly. Very generous of overlode to set fee at 0%. Payouts have been great. I suggest some more miners point your hashes to http://arionum.rocks

In view of fairness and opportunity for the smaller miner, the following reward scheme has been implemented -
5% reward for block finder, 20% reward to current shares, 75% reward to historic shares
In addition to this the maximum deadline has been set to 400,000; giving the lower hash rate miners even more of a chance of earning
Also remember there are 0% fees for this week as compensation for any server configuration changes that may affect mining
If you can spare a CPU or two, then please support the Arionum network, your help is appreciated

Had some difficulty getting miner running on UpCloud, but Overlode1 assisted me on discord and got my miner working on the cloud using the following script:

Just wanna say I'm excited about ARO as a project and couldn't be more impressed with the ARO team. They are always responsive to questions here and on discord. AROdev, programmerdan and overlode have all helped a total noob like me numerous times and I'm learning a ton about CPU mining. Cheers to ARO!
