IMO, community trumps everything. A community can make/break a project, crypto-related or not.

Like everyone has already mentioned, the bigger the community NORMALLY, the bigger the interest. However, keep in mind that it is easy to purchase/buy Likes and Followers on social platforms. It can be argued that an ICO with a small community are more whitehat in that sense, they're by the books. Because of this, don't judge an ICO and its integrity based on their community size.

With all these bans, ICOs and crypto companies are going to need to get creative when it comes to getting the word out. IMO, it's exciting to see the extent a company is willing to go to using nontraditional methods of marketing instead of just relying on social ads.
