Re: Low cost but effective solutions to gambling addiction
by
capedbaldy
on 05/01/2024, 11:21:03 UTC
Hehehe...I always smile in unbelief when I read that exercise can help in addition and some other things. Maybe not for me as I do not see how this can be of help, to be honest. Fine, exercise is good for so many things, but for the things that have to do with people's minds and psychology, I think it can do little or nothing here. Gambling is beyond all that, especially when the gambler has now taken it as a hobby or is addicted to it, it takes more psychological functions and routines for this to be let go.

This is not about you seeing professional players doing it, there are a lot of reasons for that, and when it comes to regular people, even those who are consistent with exercise as what they like as a hobby are still addicted to gambling. What about that? I believe that they will link this to some kind of muscle relaxation and all that, but in practice, to cure anything mental is beyond that. If this is so true and cureable as they make people believe, I guess by now most of the people who are gambling with addiction would have been cured. It will even be easy.
Sports activities can increase self-relaxation and divert thoughts that focus on gambling. Basically, exercise focuses on fitness and health in physical conditions but also has an effect on psychological factors, although the benefits are not directly at the point of healing from gambling addiction. When you exercise discipline, you will feel changes in your health and relaxation which will help heal stress and your lifestyle will be more regular.

But I have to admit that exercise is not the point of curing gambling addiction, but at least some cases of gamblers who are addicted can be recovered by increasing outside activities such as exercise or other activities that are useful for calming the mind. However, complete recovery from gambling addiction depends on the will of the gambler and they must be disciplined in therapy.

Re: Online or offline gambling which is more safer?
by
capedbaldy
on 04/01/2024, 16:31:50 UTC
And if we talk about security, online casinos are still safer because by being able to gamble at home, they don't need to leave the house while bringing a lot of money to the casino. It's another matter if they go to an offline casino where they have to bring a certain amount of money to be able to start gambling. Maybe offline casinos also offer online payments so people don't need to carry much money. However, many people who have experienced the convenience of gambling at online casinos still choose online casinos.
Online casinos offer easy access from anywhere and you can gamble at any time as long as you are still connected to the internet, offline casinos don't have this because gamblers have to go to a physical casino to gamble, if we discuss the risks of using money and which bets have the highest use of funds to gamble online or offline casino?

The use of funds at online casinos is higher because of the ease of access for quick transfers to casino accounts, but physical casinos require cash for betting and the possibility of gamblers at physical casinos has a lower risk of losing after gambling even though the casino provides ATM machine services for cash withdrawals. However, all risks depend on each gambler without comparison between gambling at online casinos or offline casinos because each gambler applies different limits on the use of funds, psychological influences, or different betting personal rules.

Re: Receiving a Big Payment made to my Electrum Wallet

snip
I have read your post several times, but you missed some important things to explain about your case, let me summarize the explanation from this thread:

- You are new to electrum on December 13, 2023 and you claim to have 1.3 btc in your wallet, the price of bitcoin on December 13 was 41,450 dollars and your accumulated assets at that time was 53,885 dollars, I assume you are a new crypto user as every Bitcoin user know Electrum as a trusted wallet application and not easy to hack, unless you are very careless.

- You said your account was hacked in Hong Kong, the explanation is very unclear but we tried to assume that you were using an exchange account from Hong Kong, but unfortunately you didn't explain any details about that exchange and we can't judge the reputation of that exchange.

- someone claims to have recovered assets of 1.3 btc, he is "X" and you didn't explain anything about that person, how did you get information from that person and found out that you have lost assets on the exchange.

I can't give you the exact solution before you complete my analysis explanation, but a temporary solution is don't believe anyone can recover electrum wallet even professional programming says there is a small chance to recover addresses using wallet hardware and if your exchange account has been hacked or you using on exchange scam, then there is no hope of getting back 1.3 BTC.

Re: Is gambling all about luck?
by
capedbaldy
on 08/12/2023, 11:24:01 UTC
To be honest, I'll admit that 70% of gambling is based on luck, while the remaining 30% is from the knowledge you put in, or have about the game you're gambling in. Most especially when we are talking about gambling games that generate number randomly, eg are games like dice, poker, aviator, football virtual games etc. all these games uses random number generation system to produce results, that we gamble in, so they are all based on luck while the remaining 30% can be exercised in sport betting. One can use the knowledge he has on their head to head to make prediction, and other factors like players resent in the match. Though most times the result tends to drift away from our prediction.
I agree with your opinion, we must realize that the ratio of luck is higher than probability regarding gambling, so don't expect to win but think about steps to anticipate high losses in dice, poker or other gambling, unless you are betting on sports then you can analyze the chances of winning from each team in the match, your chances of winning the bet will be according to expectations and but make sure you don't place high bets in sports betting, keep betting using funds that are ready to lose because the risk of sports betting is still not being able to predict accurately.

Re: Is the government can really make a way to end poverty or it depends on us?
by

on 23/09/2023, 13:21:18 UTC
They are everywhere and even in the rich countries, there will always be those people that are living in poverty. Even if there's a help from the government if they don't wanna help themselves. That's why those people that have been doing nothing and are all depending to the help of their government, coming from cash incentives monthly, food stamps and every help that's coming from the government. They don't wanna work and they're all good with their situation, we can't blame them for being like that but we're not like them, we've got a lot of things to do and dreams and goals trying to reach with all hard work that we do.
I think they want to work like other normal people but they don't have the opportunity to work with a decent wage according to their work, so generally they become farmers to survive, because government aid is not distributed every month and government aid is only enough for consumption for around 2 month. So in my opinion, in every environment there will still be poor people, but we must be aware that we have an obligation to give some of our wealth to the poor, helping other people will not make us poor but will make our chances of getting a fortune easier.

We can help the government eradicate poverty by offering jobs to them, we can place them in jobs that require labor such as moving goods, unloading heavy goods, or whatever other work suits their skills, this effort will help the economy improve to reduce poverty. .

Re: Any business where today you launch, tomorrow you begin making profit...?
by
capedbaldy
on 30/08/2023, 14:25:57 UTC
It boils down to this: Are you after quick cash or lasting success? One might say they're two sides of the same coin, but the irony is, only one side is real. Make your choice
Everyone has the same dream of achieving lasting success and quick cash, all these dreams must be obtained according to legal regulations but without damaging reputation, freedom and anything that does not harm others and themselves, every business pioneer must go through a long road to achieve the goals we want because no business is built a day for lasting profit.

I give a moral message to anyone to choose a legal business that is beneficial for consumers, never be attracted to illegal businesses even though they offer shortcuts for high profits but the business will actually damage other people, the environment and have other bad effects.

Re: How much ,as you think ,is 1 bitcoin in 2025?
by
capedbaldy
on 13/06/2023, 18:39:48 UTC
Many people have mentioned their predictions and I will also name mine as $80,000 to $100,000 . Though that is the probability range which I guess will happen at that but it might be higher or a little lesser.
The prediction range for $80k-100k is more realistic than assuming a high price in the next 2 years term, the prediction factor is analyzed based on the current price and predicts the probability from high chance analysis to be achieved in the future.

A price recovery is highly expected in the third quarter of this year as the SEC factor has caused the protracted darkness to preclude any potential price increases in this month but I believe in kirpto because during the crypto era it has solved thousands of bad issues, fud and so on, so only one problem with the SEC will also be resolved soon and nothing can stop the solid crypto community.

Re: Corruption Should Be Taught From Young Age
by

⭐ Merited by bestcoins1 (1)
Teaching children about corruption from a young age can have significant impact on reducing corruption in society. By educating the children about the negative effects of corruption, they can develop strong moral compass and understand the importance of honesty and integrity. Children are impressionable and can easily absorb values and beliefs from their surroundings. Therefore, by teaching them about corruption, we can instill in them a sense of responsibility towards society and encourage them to become ethical citizens. Corruption is a complex issue that affects every aspect of society. By teaching children about corruption we can help them understand various forms and how it impacts everyone including themselves.
Even though we teach education on the negative effects of corruption but without the support of education to be added to the school curriculum, our children are not easily influenced by environmental behavior because the majority of people in certain countries do not care about corruption because the government is not firm and there are no severe penalties for perpetrators of corruption, they even get remissions and just behave well will get a reduced prison sentence.

There is an animated film series entitled "Upin & Ipin - Combat Corruption (Full Episode), but unfortunately there is no English dub version yet but you can enable subtitles to translate the text, the point of the story is very useful for children to study education about the dangers of corruption and there is a message useful morals, the storyline is made child-friendly about discussing education to avoid corruption from an early age.

Re: Which is better, staking or investing?
by
capedbaldy
on 13/06/2023, 17:59:49 UTC
Currently many coins already offer staking and for me this will also help us to be able to get profits later, and better when compared to investing long-term, especially the declining market conditions so staking is the main choice even though I used to invest long-term if the market was declining but with staking then this will be more interesting for us to try, And I'm sure it will be more profitable even if there are some rules applied but trying is a very important thing.
You have to be careful with many coins that offer staking for high returns above 30-50% in annual terms, many new coins from various projects are temporarily hyped because staking profits are distributed every week or even daily, but the project will go away with sell all tokens from staking on dex and cex, any type of altcoin is very risky in long term staking so you have to analyze each coin and focus on the top altcoins, my advice is the top 5 best coins.

Re: My First Investments
by
capedbaldy
on 06/06/2023, 21:03:21 UTC
that's good advice, but I had a newbie ask me about Bitcoin investing. he came with a sizable capital. I give advice that is more or less the same as what you said to invest at the beginning with a small nominal first. but he has other thoughts with bigger capital will also get bigger profits.
he did not consider the greater risk either. he indeed started with a small amount, but he wants to always increase the amount so he makes purchases gradually every time he sees the value of his investment assets decrease.
Many beginners are very careless in financial management to invest, they don't have the patience to buy coins at bear market prices and they are not ready for the risks of investing in crypto so they always buy again when their investment decreases.

So it is very important that every beginner has crypto investment knowledge because it is in vain for them to have a lot of investment funds because they will definitely lose if there is no effect in managing investment funds.
